~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where! you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford. . . THAT'S Allah. .. He knows the desires of your heart. . .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is
going to get better, but now you look back on it. . . THAT'S Allah.. .. He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day. . .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DO YOU THINK THAT THIS E-MAIL WAS ACCIDENTALLY SENT TO YOU? NOPE!
I was thinking of You! Please pass this along and share the Power of Allah..
In all that we do, we should totally give HIM thanks and our
blessings will continue to multiply. This message was sent to me by a close friend so please pass it on to all of your good friends. Keep this going for an eternity.
NOW THAT'S Allah!!!!!!!!
Don't tell Allah how big your storm is.
LETTER FROM God TO WOMEN
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I
created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you,
woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because
your nostrils are too delicate.
I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly
fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the
creativity. From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects
man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and
supports him, as you are meant to do.
Around this one bone, I shaped you.... I modeled you. I created you
perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet
delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in
man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the
breath of life.
The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to
the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not
taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to
be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held
close to his side.
Your eyes......don't change them. Your lips-how lovely when they part in
prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form. Your hands so gentle to touch.
I provided you with whatever Adam may need, strength, purity, love, protection and support.
So
man......treat women well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile but
yet strong at the same time.
Send this to all of the wonderful women you know to bless their day. This
is for all the women in your lives. Your sisters, your mother, your wives,
your daughters, the ladies you work with everyday, even your online female
friends. Send it to men too, they need to hear it as well. Send it to
everyone.
Remember... "What you permit, you promote."
Asalaamu alikum everyone,
I'd like to get feeback on an idea that insha Allah will make the forums even better.
This, and most Islamic sites all have a section devoted to women and women's issues. This is great, and I don't want to change that, but what about the men?
Men have issues too. Why not set up a place just for them to focus on male issues. Responibility to wives and family, handling stress and work-related pressure, etc.. Our brothers have a big responsibility and I think it may be of benefit to them to talk and learn from other brothers.
Any opinions???
<span>"Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings to the strangers." </span>
<span>The Meaning of "Strangeness" </span>
<span>Many times in many situations the people that follow the religion of Allah feel a sense of not belonging, of being out of place, of not fitting in, and, in other words, of being strange. This feeling could occur in a gathering of non-Muslims, but, unfortunately, this feeling sometimes also occurs when one is with his fellow Muslims. A person sees his brothers and sisters doing acts that are contrary to Islam, or taking part in innovations that sometimes even border on kufr (apostasy), yet he feels that he does not have enough power or courage to stop them in these acts. Some brothers and sisters, especially if they do not have enough taqwa or Islamic knowledge, sometimes buckle under the pressure of their peers and join in these acts, knowing that this is not what Allah wants them to do. However, feeling helpless, since it seems that they are alone in their ideas and without any support to help them do what is right, they succumb to such pressures. </span>
<span>These brothers and sisters, may Allah have mercy on them, should take consolation in the verses of the Qur’an and the many statements of the Prophet (peace be upon him) describing this very situation of strangeness that they feel. </span>
<span>Why Have They Been Called "Strangers"? </span>
<span>Allah says in the Qur’an, "If only there had been, in the generations preceding you, people having wisdom, prohibiting others from evil in the earth; except a few of those whom we have saved from among them." (Hud 116). </span>
<span>This verse speaks of the few people on earth, the "strangers", who prohibit mankind from evil. These are the same people the Prophet (peace be upon him) spoke about when he said, "Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings [ar. Tooba. This is a tree in Paradise. So the Prophet (peace be upon him) is giving the good news of Paradise to these strangers.] to the strangers." It was asked, "Who are those strangers, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Those that correct the people when they become corrupt." [Reported by Abu Amr al-Dani, from the hadith of ibn Masoud. It is authentic according to al-Albani. Another narration says, "Those that correct my sunnah which has been corrupted by the people after me."] In another narration he said in response to the same question, "They are a small group of people among a large evil population. Those who oppose them are more than those who follow them." [Reported by ibn Asaakir. It is authentic according to al-Albani.] </span>
<span>These praiseworthy people are called strangers since they are a small minority among mankind. Thus, Muslims are strangers among mankind; the true believers are strangers among Muslims; and the scholars are strangers among the true believers. And the followers of the Sunnah, those that clear themselves from all peoples of innovation, are likewise strangers. </span>
<span>In reality, however, their strangeness is only because they are the minority and it is not because their actions and beliefs are strange. This is what Allah says in surah al-Anaam, "And if you obey most of the people on Earth, they will lead you astray" (al-Anaam 116). Allah also says, "And most of mankind will not believe, even if you (O Muhammad) desire it eagerly" (Yusuf 103); "And truly, most of mankind are rebellious and disobedient (to Allah)." (al-Maidah 49); "But nay, most of mankind are ungrateful" (Yusuf 38 ). Therefore, Allah, the all-Knowing Creator, knows the most of mankind will not follow the truth. Instead, only a small group of people will be set apart that truly and correctly believe in Him, the strangers from among mankind. </span>
<span>The strangers in belief, however, and the strangers in character and actions are in reality the majority of mankind, for they are strange to Islam and to the laws that Allah has revealed. Thus we see that there are various types of strangeness, of which some are praiseworthy, some are blameworthy and some are neither praiseworthy or blameworthy. We will discuss these various categories separately below. </span>
<span>The Various Types of Strangeness </span>
<span>You should know, may Allah have mercy upon you, that strangeness is of three types: </span>
<span>The first type of strangeness is the strangeness of the "People of Allah and the People of His Messenger" (peace be upon him), which we mentioned previously. This strangeness is a praiseworthy strangeness, as it has been praised by Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). Therefore, this kind of strangeness should be sought and its people must be supported. This strangeness occurs in different times, in different places, and among different peoples. These strangers, then, are the true "People of Allah" for they do not worship ought save Him, and they do not take support from any path except the path of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and they do not call to anything except that which has been brought by the Prophet (peace be upon him). These are the people who left mankind when they (the strangers) were in need of them the most. For, on the Day of Judgment, when all other groups will go with that which they used to worship, they will stay in their places. It will be said to them, "Will you not go as the other people have gone?" They will answer, "We had abandoned the people (in this life), and we were more in need of them then we are today, and we will wait for our Lord whom we used to worship." [Recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim] </span>
<span>Thus it is apparent that this strangeness does not cause its bearer any discontent. Rather it is a comforting strangeness, a solace to the believers. This is because he knows that his helpers are Allah, His Messenger and those who believe [This is a reference to verse 55 of surah al-Maidah], even if all of mankind left and abandoned him. These strangers are again described in a hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik, in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is possible that a disheveled, dusty person, with not many belongings [Literally, "with two headdresses"], who is not noticed among the people, if he asks of Allah, Allah will fulfill his prayer." [Reported by at-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim. Al-Albani said it is authentic.] Al-Hasan al-Basri [a very famous Follower – tabi` - known for his piety, asceticism and knowledge] said, "A believer is a stranger in this world, he is never afraid of its humiliation, and he never competes for its glory. The people are in one situation and he is in a different situation. The people are content with him, yet he is in turmoil [Literally, "tired"] with himself." </span>
<span>From the characteristics of these strangers that the Prophet (peace be upon him) described is the holding on to the sunnah of the Messenger (peace be upon him), even if the people abandon it. They, the strangers, leave all the innovations that their people invent, even if such practices should be common among them. They also stick to tawheed, even if the people corrupt it with shirk. They do not ascribe themselves to anything besides Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him); they do not, that is, ascribe themselves to a shaikh, tariqah, particular madhhab or a group of people. They are dedicated only to Allah, with their sincere worship of Him and Him alone, and to His Prophet (peace be upon him), by following the path that he followed. These are the people who grasp the glowing hot embers [A reference to the hadith that is to follow], even though most of mankind - nay, all of them - blame them for this. This is the meaning of the statements of the Prophet (peace be upon him) alluding to the fact that they stick to his sunnah, even if the people corrupt it. </span>
<span>Allah, all praise be to Him, sent His Prophet (peace be upon him) when mankind followed different religions, for there were those who worshipped rivers and trees, and there were those who worshipped idols, and there were Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians. Islam, when it first appeared among these people, was strange to them. If a person from among them accepted Islam and followed the call of Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him), he would be shunned by his family and his tribe. He would live the life of a stranger among his people. Eventually, however, Islam spread far and wide. The Muslims became stronger and stronger, so much so that the strangers were those that did not accept the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). </span>
<span>But, alas, Satan deceived mankind again. People took to the ways that their forefathers, who had accepted Islam, had abandoned until, finally, Islam became strange again, just like it had started and just like the Prophet (peace be upon him) had foretold. Nay, indeed, rather the true Islam - that which the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions were following [this is a reference to the reply that the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave when asked what the characteristics of the "Saved Group" were] has become even stranger to the people then when it initially appeared, even though its outward signs and external relics are well known and widespread. [This is what ibn al-Qayyim, wrote in the 8th Century of the Hijrah, wrote. Imagine our situations six centuries after him. May Allah protect us.] </span>
<span>How can it not be so, when these strangers are only one group among seventy-two others [the Prophet (peace be upon him) said in an authentic hadith that this Ummah would divide into seventy-three groups, all of which would go to Hell except the one Saved Group.], each of which follows its own desires and takes its passions as gods? Those are the groups that base their teachings on doubts and innovations and whose sole purpose is the gratification of their own desires. Thus, the group whose goal is to achieve the pleasure of Allah by following the path of His Messenger (peace be upon him) will be the strange one among all of the other groups. </span>
<span>This is why the true Muslims - those that adamantly cling to the Sunnah - will have the reward of fifty Companions. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked about the verse, "O you who believe! Take care of your own selves. If you follow right guidance, no harm can come to you from those who err" (al-Maidah 105), he said, "Nay indeed, order good and forbid evil until you see stinginess being obeyed, and desires being followed, and this world preferred [over the next], and each person being deluded by his own opinions. Then take care of yourself and leave the common people. For indeed, after you there will be days of patience, where patience will be like holding on to glowing embers. Whoever is able to do this will have the reward of fifty people that do like him." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty of them?" He replied, "The reward of fifty of you" [Recorded by al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud with a weak chain but it has supporting evidence. Al-Albani calls it sahih. See al-Sahiha, #957]. This reward is due to his strangeness among the people. </span>
<span>So, if the believer whom Allah has blessed with wisdom and knowledge wants to tread upon this path, the path of Allah, then let him be prepared to resign himself to the life of a stranger among his people, just like his predecessors who accepted Islam were treated by the people. For indeed, he will be a stranger in his beliefs, because his people have corrupted their beliefs. He will be a stranger in his religion, due to what the people have done to it. He will be a stranger in his manner of praying, because the people are ignorant of the prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He will be a stranger in his ordering of good and prohibiting evil, for the people have taken what is evil as good and they have abandoned what is good as evil. In short, then, he will be a stranger in all his matters of this world and the Hereafter, calling to the path of Allah and withstanding the harm of all those that go against him. </span>
<span>As for the second type of strangeness, then know, O reader, that this strangeness is the blameworthy strangeness, for its people are the evil sinners, the ignorant and the arrogant of mankind. Their strangeness is due to their refusal to follow the correct and straight path of Allah. This strangeness is the strangeness of not conforming to the religion of Islam and, as such, it will remain strange even if its followers are numerous, its power is strong and its existence is widespread. These are the strangers to Allah. May Allah keep us from becoming one of them. </span>
<span>The third category of strangeness is, in essence, neither praiseworthy or blameworthy. It is the strangeness that a traveler experiences when he travels to a different country, like a person who lives in a place for a short period of time, knowing that he has to move on. One aspect of this strangeness is that all of us, whether we realize it or not, are strangers in this world, for we will all go one day to our permanent abode in the Hereafter. This is the meaning of the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he told Abdullah ibn Umar, "Live in this world as though you are a stranger or a wayfarer." Thus, this category of strangeness has the potential to become a praiseworthy strangeness if we realize the meaning of this statement of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). </span>
<span>We pray that Allah bless us to be Muslims, knowledgeable and pious, and that He forgive us our sins and bless us with His Mercy. </span>
<span>Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honor and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute to Him And Peace be on the Messengers. And all Praise and thanks be to the Allah, the Lord of the Worlds </span>
<span><span>I found these stats posted in a Yahoo group..... </span></span>
<span><span>This is a reminder to us. As we all know the facts (from the CIA book of records):</span></span>
<span><span>1) Total world population: 6.5 billion</span></span>
<span><span>2) Total population of Muslims (MashaAllah!): 2 billion (2,023,829,080) i. e. out of every 4 human on this earth, one is a Muslim.</span></span>
<span><span>3) Total cigarette smokers in the world: 1.15 billion(1,158,536,585) i. e. 18% of the population approximately.</span></span>
<span><span>4) Total Muslim cigarette smokers in the world (according to the worldpercentage): 400,000,000 approximately. (400 million).</span></span>
<span><span><span>1. Phillip Morris is the largest tobacco & cigarette manufacturing company in the world??</span></span></span>
<span><span><span>2. Phillip Morris donates 12% of its profits to Israel.</span></span></span>
<span><span><span>3. If 400 million Muslims smoke a packet of cigarette each on average per day(average cost per packet being $2.00 - & this is very conservative estimate) - the Muslims contribute $ 800 million to the Phillip Morris company.</span></span></span>
<span><span><span>4. Let us assume 10% profit on this amount, which sums up to $ 80 million.</span></span></span>
Bism EllaherRahman ArRaheem
I read this on an Arabic email which was translated from a book titled "Even angles Ask" authored by Professor Jefery Langh.
I couldn't but to translate it and share it. With no comment.
In this part of the book, the author brings out precious spiritual values which we actually miss these days. Reason we miss them is that we turned worship into a habit losing the essence for which it was ordained at the first place. Instead it turned into automatic movements lacking the proper meaning.
In the following the real meaning of prostration shall be brought forth:
Realize the taste of closeness:
Ghasan Zarah former Imam of San Francisco University Masjid said: "When we pray and place our noses on the floor, we experience a type of joy, tranquility and strength coming from outside this world. Words can not describe those feelings.
You must try it in order to understand it"
The call for prayer came on. On the day I accepted Islam, the imam handed me a booklet presenting the method of prayer.
However, I was surprised to notice that Muslim students were some how worried. They kept telling me: take it easy, don't pressure yourself, it is better if you take your time, take things slowly by time"
I wondered to myself: " Is prayer that hard?". Yet I just ignored their advices and decided to immediately start praying the five times punctually.
On that night, I spent a long time sitting on the couch in my small room with dim light trying to study the movements of prayer, repeat them, reading the Quran ayas and supplications must be recited during prayer. The fact that most of what I will recite was in Arabic, I had to know them by heart in Arabic while at the same time know the English meaning. I spent several hours going through the book before I find enough confidence to try my first prayer. It was almost midnight, therefore, I decided to perform Esha prayer.
I went into the bathroom, put the booklet on the side of the basin opened to the page explaining ablution. I followed the steps slowly and accurately just as a cook trying a recipe for the first time. As soon as I was through with ablution, I went to the room with water dropping of my parts.
According to the booklet, instructions indicate that it is preferred not to dry oneself after ablution.
I stood in the center of the room facing what I thought as Qiblah. I looked back in order to ensure that I closed the door to my apartment then looked forward. I stood still, took a deep breath, raised my hands with my palms opened touching at my ears with my thumbs.
After that I said in a low voice "Allah u Akbar". I was hoping no one can hear me.
I was getting very emotional. I could not rid myself from being worried that someone is spying on me.
Suddenly I realized I didn't close the curtains. I wondered to myself: what if one of the neighbors saw me?
I left what I was doing and went to the window. Looked outside in order to ensure no one is there. I felt comfortable to see no one is there, closed the curtains and went back to the center of the room. Once again I faced the Qiblah and repeated the process and whispered Allah u Akbar. In a very low voice that no one can hear, slowly stammering I recited the fatiha followed by a short surah. Of course I recited in Arabic, however, I am sure any Arab would have never understood any of my recitation that night.
Again I said takbeer and bowed until my back was in a vertical position with my legs placing my hands on my knees saying Sobhan Rabia al Azeem several times.
Bismillahir-rahmanir-raheem
As-salaamu alaykom wa rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu to my brothers and sisters in Islaam
[u:f0a9a501ea]My journey to Islaam[/u:f0a9a501ea]
How did an anglo-celtic man, who lived a regulation average life in the western world, whose knowledge of religion was gleaned from ‘Sunday school” as a kid, come to accept Islaam?
Al-hamdu lillaahi Rabbil-`Aalameen, All the praise is due to Allah, the Rabb of Aalamin - mankind, jinn and all that exists. It was completely the result of the great Mercy of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This is my story, as a way of praise to Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful, for His Love for me and His Mercy to me and setting me on a journey out of the darkness that is this world into the light that is Islaam. And hopefully a means by which other seekers, may come to realize Who it is that is missing in our lives.
And again and again and again, Al-hamdu lillaahi Rabbil-`Aalameen, All the praise is due to Allah, the Rabb of Alamin - mankind, jinn and all that exists, that Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa guided me to Islaam:
[b:f0a9a501ea]Whomever Allah wills to guide, He opens his chest to Islaam[/b:f0a9a501ea] Surat Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:125
My life was the regular kafir fare - christian by birth certificate and ’sunday school’ only. Wife, kids, cat & a dog etc. But there came a point in my life I realised only God could make sense of this life for me. So I recited what I was taught in ‘sunday school’ - 'The Lord's Prayer' which I recited over and over with a special prayer thrown in: "If you are really real, please show me."
That was some ten years ago now. From that moment I spent seven long years peeking in every nook and cranny searching for God, searching for the secret of life. My search was an inward journey. I never discussed my quest nor religion with anyone, except my ex-family, who concurred that I was slowly going insane.
Not once in all that time did I notice the word, Islaam or Allah (Subhaanahu wa Taalaa) or Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihee Wassalam). Islaam was never considered. My search for God took me to many highs and many times of intense fear.
Then, one day, we finally got the internet at home. And I was introduced to a thing called a search engine. It had this small panel where you could type in some words and then click on a button called 'enter' and would search the whole world over for the answer to your question. Late that night when all were in bed;
>Power up computer
>select - 'search engine'
>type in biblical and religious parameters
>click on 'enter'
>and up comes page after page after page of -
>HUH ?? What ?? ISLAAM ??
>Picks a web-page
>HUH ?? What ?? The Holy Qur'an ??
>Sura Baqarah (The Cow) opens
>and all I read was;
>[b:f0a9a501ea]"This is the Book; in it is guidance sure without doubt to those who fear Allah."[/b:f0a9a501ea]
>I exclaimed.....ah-ha !!!
>Found you!!!
:::::::::::::::::::::
Seven long years and it finally was over, I had found the secret to life.
[b:f0a9a501ea]Ash-hadu ala ilaha illal-Lah wa-ash-hadu anna Muhammadur rasulullah.[/b:f0a9a501ea] (I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the servant and messenger of Allah.)
[b:f0a9a501ea]Allah has revealed the most beautiful message, a Book consistent in its verses yet repeating its teachings in different ways. Those who fear their Rabb are filled with awe when they hear it, their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides with it whom He pleases. But he to whom He confounds shall have none to guide him.[/b:f0a9a501ea] Az-Zumar 39:23
Al-hamdu lillaahi Rabbil-`Aalameen All the praise is due to Allah, the Rabb of Alamin - mankind, jinn and all that exists, I am muslim three full Islamic years a couple of days after next Eid, in shaa Allah. What a time that was. To enter into Islaam when every single muslim on the planet was filled to the brim with 'Deen'. Ramadan had just finished and everyone I met was 'high' on the spirit of Islaam. It seemed as if I was on another world, far, far away.
I announced to my ex-family that I had accepted Islaam. They would fly into a rage when I made wudu (washing for prayer) claiming it to be some satanic ritual, and especially when they would see me in sajud (kneeling on the floor with face on the ground). It wasn't long before I heard those words;
[b:f0a9a501ea]"Get out of our lives and take your precious Allah with you."[/b:f0a9a501ea]
I packed a small suitcase, grabbed my pillow and walked out of that nightmare world. I walked away with dignity from my ex-wife, my ex-children, my ex-house, my ex-business and my ex-life. But I still got me mum although she has said I am not to mention religion. May Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa open her heart one day. Make dua'a for her please.
I slept in the car for a couple of nights then walked into the House Rental Agency:
"I'm sorry." he said. "We have had a big rush over the last week. We only have three vacancies left in the whole town. Two are large houses and out of your price-range, so that leaves you with only a choice of one." I took the door-key and went to have a look.
Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil 'Aalameen -All thanks and praise is due to Allah, Rabb (Lord) of the worlds and all that exists.
When only one choice is available to you there is no way you can pick and choose your next-door neighbors. My new neighbors? Muslims, in large numbers and a beautiful green-domed masjid (mosque). And again, Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil 'Aalameen, All thanks and praise is due to Allah, Rabb (Lord) of the worlds and all that exists.
I spent my first year with Tableegh (islamic missionaries). They were the closest I could find to 'deen' at the time. Something was 'missing' still. I liked there stories and lessons in seerah and sunnah, it made my eman rise. The other parts though left me flat. Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil 'Aalameen, All thanks and praise is due to Allah, Rabb (Lord) of the worlds and all that exists, Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa opened a way for me to go to Hajj. In some ways it seemed a little early to go, I didn't understand the true signifcance of the event. Here's two short memories of Hajj:
In Haraam Shareef - I was sitting on the steps just before you step down into the open area around the Kaba. I was looking back towards the door watching people as they came in. Then way over in the distance three very elderly people caught my eye. Two women and a man. They were of tartar appearance and I imagined them to be husband, wife and sister. There's a story that when you enter Haraam shareef for the first time, one should avoid looking upon the Kaba until you get as close as you can. Then when you finally look up and see Kaba make Dua'a and it is said Allah will surely answer your prayer.
Now the sisters had their eyes shut tight and were trying to carry this through and the man was acting as a guide and helping them through the crowd while trying not to look up at Kaba. Closer and closer they came until they stood right in front of me! Imagine, they could have been praying for this moment for maybe sixty years. They looked terribly poor and probably spent their life savings to come. My eyes never left their faces. When they stopped in front of me they looked up for their first sight of the Kaba. What a magic moment. Tears flooded their eyes and rolled down their cheeks like rivers flowing and I cried with them. They were trying to make dua'a and clutched at their throats but only emotion came out.
The second memory from Hajj was my dua'a. "Allahumma; please bestow on me forgiveness, beneficial knowledge and a pious wife."
Three weeks back from Hajj and I was told, I have someone I want you to meet. Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil 'Aalameen All thanks and praise is due to Allah, Rabb (Lord) of the worlds and all that exists. I am married 18 months now. She is an Alim, Hafeez Qur'an (memorised Qur'an by heart), my teacher, my family, my wife, my lover, my mother and my best friend.
[b:f0a9a501ea]Whomever Allah wills to guide, He opens his chest to Islaam[/b:f0a9a501ea] Surat Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:125
So let this be a reminder that anyone who truly seeks Allah sincerely from his heart, he will find Him and much, much more than he can ever imagine.
Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari (May Allah be pleased with him) the servant of the Messenger of Allah narrated: Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessing be upon him) said: [b:f0a9a501ea]"Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rabb'.He commits this mistake out of extreme joy".[/b:f0a9a501ea] - (Muslim)
[b:f0a9a501ea]And your Rabb says: "Call on Me, I will answer your prayers. Surely those who are too arrogant to worship Me shall soon enter hell in humiliation."[/b:f0a9a501ea] Surat Ghafir 40:60
[b:f0a9a501ea]The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on Him by them. [/b:f0a9a501ea] Surat Al-A'Raf 7:180
So as you see, he answered my prayer, "If you are really real, please show me."
And never despair of Allah's mercy.
[img:f0a9a501ea]http://www.alhouta.com/moshaaf5.gif[/img:f0a9a501ea] What do you know about Islaam ??? Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful - is known through knowledge:::[b:f0a9a501ea]So KNOW !![/b:f0a9a501ea](farlam annahu)[b:f0a9a501ea]that there is no God but Allah.[/size:f0a9a501ea][/b:f0a9a501ea] - Surat Muhammad 47:19
