I pray Allah bless me to say this story correctly;

there was a muslim walking past a bar,

the muslim looked and saw another muslim walking in;

amazed, the muslim stopped in shock and stood there,

(thinking, how degrading and dishonourable for a muslim to go in a bar to drink)

still amazed, the muslim saw another muslim walk out of the bar holding up another muslim.

It just so happened that a muslim was walking down the street, then fell down, and he just so happened to fall in front of a bar.

The bar owner in his kindness picked-up the muslim, took him into the bar, gave him a drink of water, then called his brother to help him home.

True Story....

There was once a man who was an enemy to Islam. He had three famous questions that no person could answer. No Islamic scholar in Baghdad could answer his three questions...thus he made fun of Islam in public. He constantly ridiculed Islam and the Muslims. One day a small boy, who`s age was 10, came along and heard the man yelling and screaming at Muslims in the street. He was challenging people openly to answer the three questions.

The boy stood quietly and watched. He then decided that he would challenge the man. He walked up and told the man, "I will accept your challenge".

The man laughed at the boy and ridiculed the Muslims even more by saying, "A ten year old boy challenges me. Is this all you people have to offer!"

But the boy patiently reiterated his stance. He would challenge the man, and with Allah`s help and guidance, he would put this to an end. The man finally accepted.

The entire city gathered around a small "hill" where open addresses were usually made. The man climbed to the top, and in a loud voice asked his first question.

"What is your God doing right now?"

The small boy thought for a little while and then told the man to climb down the hill and to allow him to go up in order to address the question.

The man says "What? You want me to come down?"

The boy says, "Yes. I need to reply, right?"

The man made his way down and the small boy, age 10, with his little feet made his way up.

This small child`s reply was "Oh Allah Almighty! You be my witness in front of all these people. You have just willed that a Kafir be brought down to a low level, and that a Muslim be brought to a high level!"

The crowd cheered and screamed "Takbir"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!"

The man was humiliated, but he boldly asked his Second question... "What existed before your God?"

The small child thought and thought.

Then he asked the man to count backwards. "Count from 10 backwards."

The man counted..."10, 9 ,8 , 7 , 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,0"

The boy asked, "What comes before 0 ?"

The man: "I don`t know...nothing."

The boy: "Exactly. Nothing was before Allah, for He is eternal and absolute."

The crowd cheered again...."Takbir!"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!!"

The man, now completely frustrated, asked his final question. "In which direction is your Allah facing?"

The boy thought and thought.

He then asked for a candle. A candle was brought to him. The blessed child handed it to the man and asked him to light it.

The man did so and remarked, "What is this supposed to prove?"

The young boy asked, "In which direction is light from the candle going?"

The man responded, "It is going in all directions."

The boy: "You have answered your own question. Allah`s light (noor) goes in all directions. He is everywhere. There is no where that He cannot be found.

"The crowd cheered again...."Takbir!"...."Allah-hu-akbar!!!"

The man was so impressed and so moved by the boy`s knowledge and spirituality, that he embraced Islam and became a student of the young boy.

So ended the debate.

Who was the young boy?

The young boy was one of our leaders and one of the greatest scholars, Imam Abu Hanîfa (May Allah bless him).

A Saudi Woman

This is a factual account of an incident that happened

during the last week of Ramadan at the Al Faisaliah

Tower Mall in Riyadh.

"A group of young Saudi women were walking within the

mall. One of them, although draped in a black Abaya

(outer garment) was openly flaunting herself by

spreading it open and walking around in a manner that

is totally contrary to Islamic modesty.

She was also wearing a short dress inside that was

revealing of parts of her body which is considered

aura for women. A Mutawwa (religious police)

approached her and spoke to her and requested her to

cover herself up properly and stop displaying herself

in such a wanton and evil manner. He spoke to her

about death and asked her what would be her plight if

death approached her now. How would she die and answer

to Allah for what she was doing.

She was arrogant and took out her mobile phone from

her handbag and offered it to him and said "Call your

God and ask Him to speak to me".

The Mutawwa was shocked and amazed at this response

from a Saudi Arabian Muslim woman. He simply uttered,

"Hasbun Allahi wa Nimal Wakeel" three times, said

"Astaghfir Allah" and walked away.

The woman started to walk away too. In not even more

than five minutes after this conversation she slipped

on the marbled surface of the mall floor, and fell,

passed excrement from her body, and died. Inna lillahi

wa inna ilaihi Rajioon! (Truly! To Allaah we belong

and truly, to Him we shall return.)"

Subhana Allaah!

The story has been corroborated by the Security Guards

who were present at the mall whom we spoke to in order

to verify the incident.

Sports Car vs. Quraan

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man waited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Quran. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said "With all your money you give me a Quran?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day.

Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Quran, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Quran and began to turn the pages.

As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Quran. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss ALLAH blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

just today, exactly before Isha prayer, my father in law just left Christianity (catholic) and accepted Islam as his religion, he is 55 years old. and yet he realized the truth Al hamdu lelah , he took shahada tonight infront of three brothers were in the Masjid of Camaren (Philippines) , May Allah protect him from satan, and May Allah open my wife's heart to the right path soon, Inshaa Allah,.

40TH ANNIVERSARY OF DR. KING'S "MARCH ON WASHINGTON"

Muslim appointed as co-convener of civil rights rally

(WASHINGTON< DC) -- The Coalition of Conscious, a union of civic,

religious, and labor organizations, will commemorate the 40th

anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "March on Washington"

with a series of activities in Washington, DC on August 23, 2003,

including teach-ins and a mass rally at the Lincoln Memorial, and the

kick-off of a national voter registration drive.

The MAS Freedom Foundation has endorsed the march, and Executive

Director Mahdi Bray has been appointed as the co-convener of the march

by Martin Luther King III, president of the Southern Christian

Leadership Conference.

"We have an opportunity to reaffirm the demand for civil rights for

all people that Dr. King fought, and died for," said Bray. "As a boy

I attended the 1963 march, and a lot of things have changed since

then, but racism, ignorance, and discrimination still exist, and thus

we must continue to struggle for what is right, and against what is

wrong."

On August 28, 1963 Dr. King delivered his famous "I have a dream"

speech, calling for equality in America and demanding that the civil

rights of minorities be protected.
