What are the duties of the human being?
A) The only duty of human being is the service to Lord. But, for the service, the maintenance of the body and family is essential. Therefore, the duties related to such maintenance are also part and parcel of the main divine duty.

What is the aim of the birth of every soul?
A) A soul is the part of creation. Veda says that the world is created for the entertainment of God only. Therefore, every soul should realize that its existence and life are for the pleasure of God only and not for the pleasure of one’s own self or his family.

The Battle of Vienna
The Ottoman Turks had Vienna under siege for a couple of
months in 1683, and although the Austrians and Germans put
up a good fight, on Sept 12 the Turks made several major
breaches in the city walls. But later that day, an army
arrived from Poland, and with the support of the Germans
and Austrians the Turks were soundly defeated. That battle
ended any hope the Muslims had for conquering Europe. I
think we all owe a lot to that Polish army.
One website I found about the battle ended as follows:
> The Turks never recovered from the battle. While the
> Ottoman Empire survived for another two hundred plus
> years, from here on out it was merely a holding action.
> For Poland, this was her last great moment on center
> stage until the Battle of Warsaw in 1920 when once again
> she saved Europe from the East.
After reading that last sentence, I had to do some more
research and find out about the Battle of Warsaw. It turns
out that after the communists took over Russia, they
started moving into Eastern Europe. Poland alone decided
to try to stop the Russians (even England and France
refused to help). Heavily outnumbered, the Poles suffered
several major defeats until Russia was on the verge of
capturing Warsaw. The Polish army, with their backs to the
wall, launched a "do or die" counter attack, and once
again soundly defeated the invading army. This was an all
out effort by the Polish people. To again quote from a
website:
> Officers of the 21st Polish Infantry Division witnessed
> peasants armed with pitchforks accompanied by their
> wives carrying flails assisting soldiers in the bayonet
> charge on the enemy positions...
I don't think the Poles have received the recognition they
deserve. They saved Europe from being invaded by Muslims,
and a few hundred years later they beat back the Russians
and postponed the communist takeover of Eastern Europe by
25 years. And of course Poland also sent troops to Iraq
during the latest Gulf War. I think that Poland is going
to turn out to be one of the USA's most important allies
during the next few decades.

Converting FROM Islam... |

Salam,
I'd like to ask for more detail regarding the circumstances of when a convert from Islam (to another faith) is sentence to death. I've never really got a full explanation of and the media coverage of a Somali convert being killed in his town sparked my interest.
This is what i was told.
If you choose to leave Islam, then you must leave the community (or the Muslim region) you originated from before making this decision. If you refuse, you are sentenced to death.
I can understand the reason as to why someone would be told to leave the community; but what if that person cannot afford or is generally unable to leave the community and be on their own?
Also..does this cover only when the individual converts to another faith, aswell as becoming an atheist?
Thanks

It is said that God takes the form as per your desire. Does it not mean that He is formless? |

It is said that God takes the form as per your desire. Does it not mean that He is formless?
God is neither formless nor has form. In the creation both formless objects like air and form-full objects like earth exist. Because of this reason God is neither formless nor form-full since both are imaginable. Veda says that God is unimaginable. But God comes in human form, which is useful to the humanity in all directions.
The main aim of the human form is preaching Divine Knowledge. That is why God has taken a human form which is very much useful to the humanity in various angles. You have to worship such form taken by God. He is not your servant to come in the form you desire. In Gita the Lord said that He will approach the devotee in the same path as the devotee approaches. This does not mean that He will take the form as you like. You can take any form you like which can be a representative of God (Pratika) but God does not exist in it.

Is it possible for God to come in Human form? |

Is it possible for God to come in Human form?
How can one argue that the Lord cannot come down in the human form? If He is incapable of doing so, He cannot be omnipotent. One need not argue that though the Lord is capable, there is no necessity of such human form. You may not have that necessity. Are you the only human being on this whole earth? Have you taken the opinion of all the human beings to say like this? There are several devotees who belong to Nivrutti and desire for the Lord in human form to see (Darsanam), to touch (Sparsanam), to hear the knowledge and clarify their doubts (Sambhashanam) and to live along with the Lord (Sahavasa) for achieving these three for a long time. The main purpose is preaching the divine knowledge and clarify the doubts.
The statues or photos or energetic forms or space cannot preach the knowledge and that is against the universal observation (perception). Preaching of the knowledge by the human forms of the Lord like Krishna, Jesus etc is observed universally and accepted perception. Such universal observation is according to the rules of the nature. When something is possible through a simple way by following the rules of the nature, is it not foolish to do the same simple thing in the complicated way violating the rules of the nature? When water is available in plenty from the tap, what is the necessity of producing water by forcing Hydrogen and Oxygen to react with the help of an electric arc? To show the production of the water by this reaction, this experiment can be performed once but not every time whenever water is required. To show the super power of the Lord a statue or a photo or the energetic form or even formless space may talk once.
But to preach the spiritual knowledge continuously, the Lord need not talk continuously through statues or photos or energetic forms or space. Some devotee might have experienced such super power in some place and in some time. Such experience is not supported by simultaneous universal observation. When you are seeing the moon in the sky, others are also observing the same moon simultaneously. This is required to authorise any experience. When this authorisation is absent, your experience may be true or might have been due to some psychological disorder. The existence of such psychic experience is also observed in this world. Therefore we cannot isolate the possibility of these two cases in your experience
Therefore there is a necessity for the human form of the Lord and since the Lord is omnipotent, He is coming down in the human form. There cannot be any further argument on this point. I know you are worried that the Lord is modified into the human body and thus the unchangeable Lord has to be changed. Do not worry about this point, because the Lord is never modified into the human body. He only entered into the human body. The word “Asritam” in the verse of Gita “Manushim tanumasritam” means the entry of the Lord into the human body and not the modification of the Lord as a human body. Lord Krishna in Gita clarified this in the verse “Avyaktam Vyaktimapannam”.

It is very difficult to accept the human incarnation while alive. |

It is very difficult to accept the human incarnation while alive.
Only very few blessed souls who are already liberated and accompanied the Lord to help Him in His mission can recognize and serve the living human form of God. The repulsion to accept a co-human being even as a greater person is very difficult. Then you can never imagine any human being to accept another human being as greatest God. The human form of God is just similar to any human being.
If any specialty is exhibited, people fear and run away. To become close to the human beings, no specialty should be exhibited. If the closeness is achieved, the recognition is lost. To get recognition if some super natural aspect is exhibited, the closeness is lost. Between closeness and recognition, which is better to be retained at the cost of the other? The recognition destroys the freedom to discuss with the Lord and clarify the doubts.
When Krishna was looking as an ordinary human being, Arjuna bombarded Him with all questions and clarified His doubts. However, when Krishna was in the state of cosmic form (Viswarupam), Arjuna shivered with fear and no question could come out. The brain was blocked with shock and even the doubts did not arise. When the doubts remain un-cleared, the ignorance continues. Therefore closeness is better than recognition.
The husband hears the advices from the wife in close association. Therefore through closeness, even if the identification is not there, the soul can be guided into the right path through convincing the soul by preaching. Instead of convincing the soul by exhibiting the super power, which induces the conviction though fear, it is better to induce the conviction through the super talent exhibited in preaching. Even if you think of the human incarnation as a preacher (Guru), there is nothing wrong. If you do not recognize Him as God, His crown has not fallen on the ground.
I will just give an example. One woman was a very close devotee. She even used to argue and fight with Me on the points of the spiritual knowledge. One day, she quarreled with Me for not showing any divine vision. The Lord in Me gave a shocking vision of God Dattatreya. She became unconscious for one hour and even got a mild heart attack. From that day onwards, whenever she comes to Me, she is always with terrible fear. She simply accepts whatever I preach. The recognition has come but the closeness is lost.
Therefore Jesus said, “Those who believed Me without proof are really blessed”. This means that the devotees who recognized the Lord through the knowledge always have close freedom and clarify all their doubts and hence they are blessed. They gain the complete devotion. If the proof is shown, the closeness is lost and the gap appears. The doubts are not cleared due to fear. Neither the devotee nor the God enjoys the close association.
The realization will never come because the ignorance remains due to un-cleared doubts. Therefore the theoretical recognition arrived through the knowledge is always the best. The practical proof develops not only fear but also the attitude to fulfill the desires and solve the problems using the divine power. The attention is diverted from the path of realization. The real bond of love can never be formed. If the power is recognized, the whole situation is diverted. The mentality is always towards tapping the powers towards personal solutions.
The commercial bond grows. The friendship becomes more and more intensive if the qualities of the human form of God become more and more similar. I heard some people telling that Sri Satya Sai was printing notes and smuggling the foreign goods! I told them that this allegation is false in the case of Sri Satya Sai, but I told them that in future God has to come in human form with such talents also so that the smugglers approach Him closely and slowly get salvation.
