Who created God |

Who created God
God has no beginning and no end because God is unimaginable. The beginning and the end must be also unimaginable for an unimaginable item. The beginning and the end of the cosmic energy or space or the creation are also unimaginable. Therefore, the beginning and the end are unimaginable for the unimaginable item like God and also for the imaginable item like space. Therefore, the two points, which are the beginning-less and end-less characteristics cannot help you in understanding the real nature of God. If you start recognizing the God by simply these two points (beginning-less and end-less), you may think that God is an imaginable item like the space or energy or the creation. In fact based on these two characteristics people have imagined God as an imaginable item like space or energy or creation. This concept has misled people to such a low level that people think that God is the very infinite space or infinite energy or infinite creation. Therefore, one should filter the concept of God at this juncture itself. One should think that God has no beginning and no end because the beginning and the end of an unimaginable item are also unimaginable.
Such God desired to create this Universe for entertainment. The very desire itself is the Creation. In view of God this present materialized universe in only an idea or imagination or the very desire itself. Therefore, the desire to create the world is itself the desire and also the created world itself is a desire. Thus the creation, maintenance and dissolution of the imaginary world are also imaginations or desires. A part of this infinite creation is the individual soul. The soul is like a drop of the infinite ocean of imagination or desire of God. Thus, quantitatively the entire ocean of imagination of God is very huge compared to the tiny soul. Remember that both the Universe and the tiny soul are made of the same substance called as imagination or desire. Thus the force of the Universe is far greater than the force of the soul. Due to such huge quantitative difference of the same phase, the Universe, which is far stronger than the soul appears as a materialized entity for the soul. But this infinite ocean of desire, which is the infinite Universe is a tiny drop compared to the infinite force of God. Therefore, again due to the same quantitative difference of force the entire universe is just the very weak imagination from the view of God. Thus imagination and materialization exist simultaneously true from the point of God and soul.
For the sake of entertainment, God desired to create the Universe. This statement is in Veda (Sa dviteeya Maicchat). In this statement there is a very subtle intermediate stage, which is the essence of the desire to create the Universe. The desire to create the world is like the golden ornament but the essence of such desire is like the raw gold in which the ornament is not yet expressed. Such raw essence of the desire is pure awareness. The pure awareness is a special subtle form of energy, which is not qualified by any form. Such pure awareness is called as the spirit, which is not qualified and does not have any attribute. This is called as “Nirguna Brahman”, which means the pure awareness, which has no reference to the creation of the universe. It is a very critical and subtle point to recognize the pure awareness. Veda says that only very very sharp intelligence can grasp that critical state (Drushyate Tvagraya bhuddhya). Sankara, the topmost genius among the spiritual preachers could grasp that state and proposed the concept of Nirguna Brahman or non-qualified pure awareness. Such pure awareness is the first creation of God (Parabrahman). This first creation is almost as critical and unimaginable as the very Parabrahman itself. The only difference is that Parabrahman is absolutely unimaginable for any sharp intelligence, but this pure awareness is imaginable only for a very sharp intelligence. This pure awareness is called as Mula Prakriti or Suddha Sattvam or Mula Avidya or Mula Maya or the Spirit in general. The Parabrahman maintains such spirit and it is only an associated item and is the first created item. The word Mula means the first. This spirit is in the form of knowledge. It is aware of itself, which means that it is knowledge. Knowledge requires both subjective and objective characteristics. It is subject as well as the object. Therefore, it is called as knowledge or Sattvam. This knowledge is the first form of energy.
Energy is always active. Action is the characteristic of Rajas. Such Spirit is unaware of its own creator who is the God. Therefore, it is having ignorance or Tamas. Thus, the Knowledge itself is action and ignorance. According to Gita Knowledge is Sattvam (Sattvaat Sanjayate Jnanam), action is Rajas (Rajah Karmani) and Ignorance is Tamas (Tamastva Jnanajam). Thus these three qualities are always inseparable. The pure knowledge (Suddha Sattvam) itself is pure action (Suddha Rajas), which is the pure ignorance (Suddha Tamas). Thus in the very first instant itself the three qualities are created simultaneously in the purest state. Since all these three co-exist, it is called as equilibrium of the three qualities. When the equilibrium is disturbed various items of awareness result in which the three qualities exist in various proportions. Such disturbance of the equilibrium resulting in various distorted items of the three qualities is the very creation. The various mixtures of these three qualities constitute this diversified universe, which is meant for the play of the God and for His entertainment. When the entertainment is over all the three qualities go into the equilibrium state. Thus the Universe is converted into Mula Prakruti.
God is in association with this Mula Prakruti in the beginning. At this stage the Mula Prakruti is only a creation or created item and cannot do anything further. Its equilibrium continues. In fact the Mula Prakruti is only inert and the continuation of such equilibrium is the inertia. God enters the Mula Prakruti and pervades it. Now this Mula Prakruti is electrified wire. It is the ignited stick and is called as fire. Now this Mula Prakruti becomes divine and is called as Brahman or the Holy Spirit. The Spirit, which is just the inert created item became Holy due to the existence of God in it. Now Brahman multiplies its little part of the Mula Prakruti in which, Parabrahman does not exist. This means that God enters ninety nine percent of Mula Prakruti and not one percent. This little part of un-divine Mula Prakruti is multiplied by the disturbed equilibrium and the Universe appears. Thus, the pure awareness in which God pervaded becomes Brahman. Now Brahman becomes the spectator of the Universe. The little pure awareness into which God did not enter is modified into the Universe in which God does not exist. Here the modification does not mean materialization. The modification means the undisturbed equilibrium being converted into disturbed equilibrium. In both the states the substance is only awareness. You can compare this to a day-dreamer’s mind. The mind of the day-dreamer is Mula Prakruti. A little part of the mind is converted into dream. The mind, which is not converted, is a spectator of the dream. The dreamer is identified with the spectator part of the mind. Thus the dreamer is witnessing the dream through his unmodified mind. The dreamer has not entered the dream and therefore is not multiplied.
When the dream city is burning neither the spectator part of the mind is burnt nor the dreamer. The spectator part of the mind itself can be treated as the dreamer because the dreamer entered that spectator part of the mind and exists in it. Thus, Brahman, the spectator of the Universe can be treated as Parabrahman. Such Parabrahman who is the spectator of the Universe is called as Eeshwara. Thus, Parabrahman is the original unimaginable creator. Mula Prakrithi is the first created item, which is the pure awareness. Brahman is the major part of pure awareness in which Parabrahman entered and occupied it. The same Brahman enjoying the Universe by vision is called as Eeshwara. Neither Parabrahman nor Brahman nor the Eeswara has entered the Universe, which is the disturbed equilibrium of the three qualities. Thus, there is no disturbance in either Parabrahman or Brahman or Eeshwara. In Christianity God is Parabrahman. Brahman and Eeshwara are called as the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the substance with which the Universe is made of. The spirit is not Holy because God did not occupy it. Thus the Universe is not Holy in Toto. It is Holy with reference to the good devotees and the divine incarnations. It is unholy with reference to bad living beings and Saturn. Parabrahman who is a spectator for sometime develops a desire to enter this Universe in the form of a living being especially as a human being because the main aim is to preach the divine knowledge.
Veda says the same (Tadevaanu Praavishat). This divine human being in which, Parabrahman or Brahman or Eeshwara exists is called as human incarnation or God in Flesh. The human incarnation consists of four items. The first item is God. The second item is the Mula Prakruti, which is the pure awareness or Brahman or Aatman or Karana Sareeram (Casual Body). The third item is the disturbed equilibrium of the three qualities called as Jeeva or Sukshma Sareera (Subtle Body). The fourth item is the Gross body made of five elements (Sthula Sareera) which is again imaginary only in view of God but a materialized form in view of other human beings. If you analyse any ordinary living being it contains all the three bodies except God. If we analyse any inert item of the world it contains only the Gross Body made of the five elements.
God should be understood as the unimaginable creator. Next God can be understood as the unimaginable spectator of the world. Lastly, God should be understood as the unimaginable actor who has entered the Universal Drama in the form of Human Incarnation.

Why Mecca? |

I think there is a lot of golden calf type worship in all of the world's religions (and non-religions, too.)
For example, the Jews have the wailing wall, Catholics have the Vatican, etc., sacred objects abound. The Statue of Liberty or Mount Rushmore are other such icons of men worshiping things that they made with their hands.
As I understand it, Mecca is just a big brick.
Even if it were the site where Abraham entertained God, why would that make the site special? It strikes me that it is just another form of pagan worship, only the object chosen is different.
The reverence towards inanimate objects and places pollutes and distracts from The Spirit.

The Instruction |

This instruction to you is not another version, it is The Truth. Understand this: No one can go wrong in the purity of worshiping God in spirit and truth, That is the first and last way to worship God. Do not take the prophets and servants of “The God” as God with God or besides God. There is no God but “The God”. There is no trinity of “gods” that comprise His nature and there is no reason to violate His command: “The Lord God is One” Once again it is clear that God has commanded one way and for man to change the Pure way results in perversity. The term baptize in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are no more an indication of three in one as is the term On earth as it is in Heaven is an indication of a two in one relation. The word “Father” means creator, the word “Son” means servant and the words “Holy Spirit” mean the pure essence that proceeds from God that unifies the will of the creator with his servant. This is how God becomes “Father” in term and This is how servant becomes “Son” in term. In regards to Jesus The Christ however the term “Son” happens because of the pure essence that proceeded from God to cause him to “be”. It is the unification of the Will of God with the will of His Servant by the power of Gods divine grace and mercy that communion is achieved.
This is the instruction: Communion with God is not achieved by the vain denial of things called worldly. So many so-called religious teachers are creating so much false righteousness. You are not righteous because you don’t take drugs, smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, play cards, go dancing or any other so-called worldly recreation. In-fact these things are no more worldly than not doing them. There are some who treat there wives as mothers or worse, as dogs are they righteous? Of course not. Your Worship of God and Your godly relationship with others is the criteria for righteousness. These false teachers tell you to abstain from this and that and in-fact you should only abstain from your dis-belief and whatever else the Witness relates to you as forbidden.
There are some religions that drink blood or use blood for rituals and they sacrifice some animals for such and such reasons but this is forbidden to you these are the false religions of Satan. God has revealed to man with ritual many practical things like how to properly slaughter and cook an animal for food, how to clean and bathe oneself, how to build ships and palaces and even how to read.
All the rituals of God have been geared to educate man. For, there is nothing truly that a man can do or not do, that can take away from or add to the Kingdom of God. God is All-sufficient in Himself.
The Atheist think they can escape the truth,
Say: Think about it, you sit there with your vast knowledge (not kidding) and you go around using your God given creativity and talents and then you enjoy all the benefit of being human and then arrogantly you deny your Ultimate Creator. The truth is you can't even stop something as insignificant as a mosquito from biting you, and in some cases killing you.
Say: You see how God uses parables to make things clear. You should be thankful but how can you be thankful and who can you be thankful to? If there is no God, then there is no one to be grateful to. There is no god but God! You are sitting there breathing not knowing which breath will be your last and after that last breath you assume it will be all over but don’t you know that the Resurrection is True and you will face the judgement? Yes, In the end you will be helpless to thwart off the truth or deny it. Yes, you will be just as helpless as you are now against a tiny mosquito.
When I speak of Hell to someone, I talk about it to terrify them, to make them cringe at such an evil place and change their arrogance into humility and this is why I speak of Hell. Is it a real place? Yes! But I don't speak of it to condemn anyone to it, I speak of it to drive them from that direction, that is what the word “repent” means, it means to turn back.
This is the instruction: It is predetermined who will go to Heaven and who will go to Hell. Now, what does that mean when I say it is already determined in-fact “predetermined” Is this life about destiny? Is this life about fate? Is that what I am saying to you? Let’s examine this and see what is the conclusion. What is the most efficient way for life to proceed? The most efficient way for any purpose to be reached is to establish in advance the solution, and cut off or decide any alternate route for the purpose to be reached to be an act that is out-law. In other words, God has solved and we must resolve through the exercise of choice in making a firm decision and cutting off any alternate route other than the Will of God, this is the ultimate bliss and most efficient way. This is the Honest way, when you go off course of what you purpose(meaning good purposes) you are out of the Will of God from that moment and at that moment you are lost in the desert. The most efficient way then is to turn back(repent) and get on purpose.
You see, there is no “free” will outside the will of God, as it will have an expense, so it would be accurate to say that, “we exercise choice”. It is vital that a person restrain their selection to the God given choices. Let’s go back to the garden and see things a little more clearly. God gave the man and woman a wide selection of fruits with no consequences and a single restriction of “not exercising their ability to exercise a choice that was restricted”. Now Satan called the fruit a choice piece of fruit so in other words a “perfect choice” he said could be made. This choice would cause one to die which means to give. Satan said, “You will not die but become like God knowing good and evil.” The fact is when they disobeyed they did in fact die which means to give, and what they gave up was their piety and that was all they possessed that they could give away so they became naked and ashamed, but God Almighty who is most merciful forgave them and saved them from waste which means to become empty. So, instead of wasting them they were put out into a wasteland or an empty space. This is most efficient to show what you almost lost on the inside with what you can see on the outside. If they had been in a wasteland to begin with, they would have not known forgiveness, nor would they appreciate paradise.
This is the instruction: God gave man the ability to freely choose out of the selection given to him and man used this handy tool to acquire the capability(which means “to take”) to choose outside the provided selection. In other words, God did not give man free choice to obey or disobey. Man took his God given ability and missed the point(sinned).
God historically works the same continuous way. One seed eventually becomes the whole tree. You must grow through the correct sequence if you try to go around the proper sequence you will miss the point(sin).
Do not go out of sequence and do not miss the point. You must worship God first and foremost. They say, “We have a secret, follow us and we will tell it to you and you will have good health, wealth and knowledge. “ They say “Think Positive, follow the spiritual laws of the universe”. They say all these things but what they really are saying is break sequence. I am saying “I don’t have a secret, God is Real! Think about God, follow God!”

Why Mohammed told He was the last prophet? |

Why Mohammed told He was the last prophet?
Rohit: Swami! In Quran, it is stated that Mohammed is not father of any one.
Further it is stated there that He is the last Prophet sent by God.
What is the inner meaning of this, if this verse is genuine statement?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Swami: Oh Rohit! You have picked up very crucial concept of spirituality.
This statement is original and therefore it entered your mind.
The inner meaning of this verse is based on the angle, which you take
For the word Mohammed, here the word Mohammed stands only
For the external human form and not the internal eternal God.
Islam does not agree to the concept of human incarnation.
When Bible says the word Jesus, it means the internal eternal God.
When the Gita says Krishna, He means the same eternal God.
Because both Christianity and Hinduism believe God in flesh.
We need not criticise Islam for not believing Human Incarnation,
Because the main idea is that there is always misuse of this concept.
The human beings claim themselves as human incarnations.
Every human being following the philosophy of Advaita in Hinduism
Feels that it is the Lord, this is very dangerous extrapolation.
Even devils and demons claimed themselves as eternal God
By doing certain miracles after achieving some super powers.
All these dangerous misleading cases harm the devotees.
In the name of idol worship also, priests have exploited devotees.
They keep idols in front and rob the wealth of devotees.
To avoid all these misleading misused concepts, Islam sorted
To the worship of formless aspect of God, we appreciate this.
But because of misuses we cannot deny basic system itself.
If copying is happening, it should be arrested by taking care.
We cannot cancel the very examination system for the fear of
This misuse, we are not avoiding the journey by buses and trains
Due to possibility of accidents, the human incarnation is important.
That is the only path to reach God as said by Jesus because
The human beings approach God only through human form.
The devotees can get full satisfaction and full guidance only
From the human incarnation and not from any other form of God.
Of course, if you fear for the exploitation of this concept here,
It is better to stick to formless God or God through statues.
But you should be prepared for the disadvantages in the above ways.
You will also loose the golden chance provided by God for your sake.
Yet, Islam should be appreciated because avoiding danger is good.
Such decision was taken by Islam depending on the circumstances
And the atmosphere prevailed over the society during the time of Mohammed.
We should understand the religion from the point of the circumstances
And the environment that existed during the propagation at that time.
But now the scientific logical analysis is well developed and one need not fear
For the exploitation by the false human incarnations who can be easily
Identified, so you should not avoid the system in the present circumstances.
Islam is not a new concept to the Hinduism because in Hinduism
The philosophy of Madhva says the same and preaches that the Lord
Can never become the human being nor vice versa and this is also stated
By Jesus when He told that He was the Messenger sent by God.
Thus Islam agrees with Hinduism and Christianity in its basic concept.
Mohammed told that He was the last prophet because He did not like
Another false human incarnation to come and mislead and exploit the mass.
It is only to avoid the danger of exploitation of cunning human beings.
What is the reason for Islam not to accept the human incarnation?
Even Mohammed said that He was only the servant of God and He did not claim
Himself as the human incarnation, even though He Himself knows the truth
That He is the God in Flesh like Buddha or Krishna or Jesus.
This reason enlightens the greatness of Islam Religion, the reason is that
Once a real human incarnation is accepted, several fraud human incarnations
Claim themselves as God and mislead the spiritual aspirants for their selfish ends.
In fact such concept was so much polluted and got so much diluted
So that every human being started thinking that he himself is God.
In Hinduism this misinterpretation rules the minds of several people
Even today and most people think “Aham Brahmaasmi”, which means
“I am God”, people say that service to human beings is service to God
Because every human being is God only, Sankara condemned this concept
Which was a religion called Loka Sevaka Matam, when Jesus was worshipped
By a lady who was using some special scent to wash His divine lotus feet,
A disciple told that the cost of the scent could have been used to serve the beggars
The disciple thought that service to society is better than the personal service
Of the Lord, but Jesus immediately replied, “Let her do this service, beggars
Are always present in this world but I come rarely to this world”, this shows
That the Lord is far greater than the society and the social service is valid only
When the Lord gives permission to do so, because the saviour is the Lord
And not the society, thus the background of Islam should be properly understood.

If I am correct then I should receive the most understanding here in relaying this message.
You see, I am Asana Bodhitharta and I am The Witness of The Most High and He did give me a divine revelation in which I wrote down in a book. The progressive revelation is the divine revelation that comes down in succesive stages to produce light upon light.
There is no "gods" but One GOD and there are no religions except one religion. All denominations or sects are degenerations of The Religion.
The last complete stage of the divine revelation was that of Islam and the Word of God The Glorious Quaran. But now there is the stage of Asanas(The gracious one of God)
The Christians who were of the stage before the Muslim were in serious degeneration during the time ALLAH sent doen the Quaran and even today they have hundreds of denominations(degenerations)
They do not understand that every good Christian is a Muslim by definition. If any one Submits to God he is a Muslim, period.
When God was training me to bring this stage forth, I thought to myself there is no way to accomplish such a large task, but God is Mighty, Wise!
He showed me how Jesus didn't die on the cross and that was before I studied the Quaran, so imagine how my faith was strengthened when he commanded me to read and study the Quaran(A translation of the Quaran) and it confirmed what he taught to me about Jesus.
He guided me to the scriptures in the Holy bible that say:
But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
Exodus 34:19-21
Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
Exodus 13:1-3
So now that it can be seen that The first born belongs to God and must be redeemed:
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
Leviticus 16:7-9
But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
Leviticus 16:9-11
21And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
22And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
Now compare this to the baptism of Jesus and you will clearly see that Jesus did not confess any sins because he was without sin. But, John the baptist confesses over Jesus all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the Christ, and Jesus led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted.
But the goat on which the lot fell for Azazel or removal shall be presented alive before the Lord to make atonement over him, that he may be let go into the wilderness for Azazel
Jesus led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
You see, the scapegoat never dies and H emust be presented to the Lord alive.
This was astonishing to me and at the same time it made me witness the reality of ALLAH(The God) So much that it caused a tremendous shift in my conciousness. I am the Witness of the Utmost High God but I am not a prophet as Mohammad is the seal of the prophets.
Jesus was taken up to heaven Alive and it is this mistake of people worshiping the man who died on the cross that will save the Jews. Jesus did not die on the cross and the Jews did not kill their saviour.
Asanas know that there is only The God and The Religion.

Just so you know I am an atheist or I prefer, unbeliever in a god or gods. I do not claim there is no god only that I have not received evidence to convince me into believeing in the many gods that have been posited.
Atheism has a bad reputation, many times rightly brought about by inane comments. To briefly tell you my thoughts on atheism. Atheism means literally without theism. What is theism?
Theism: Believe in a god or goddess that intervenes with mankind.
There are many forms of theism in this world. Many worship the triune god of christianity others are mono-theists worshiping Allah or in Judaism or the Zorastrians who worship Ahura Mazda. Also some worshop Odin from Norse religion or Zeus From greek religion and many Hindu gods and goddesses.
All are theists. For example if I believe in Odin and he is my god and I believe he intervenes with mankind then I am a theist, by definition. So then all those who believe in some other god and do not believe in Odin are then taking an "atheistic" approach to my god.
So then really all are atheistic in their beliefs some believe in one god but not the others and some do not believe in any god that has so far been posited. Everyone then is atheistic towards some diety.
Also the god or goddess (if in wicca) are contradictory to each other so it cannot be the same god or goddess.
I will not say there is no god or goddess, just that I do not yet believe in the one you posit.
However in Islam (read the Quran) it teaches peace amongst themselves and even more important, peace to those who do not believe who are not enemies.
I can personally attest to this as I have friends who are Muslim who KNOW I am atheistically minded and they are still my friend and stay by my side.
I cannot say the same for other religions, I have one friend from when I was a christian )calvinist) and there are many similarities to these two religions. Both believe that God Allah is in control of all.
I can say that Islam is a true religion of peace they are not terrorists at all. The terrorists are not following the words of the Quran and their prophet Muhammed (pbuh). The true followers of Islam know of what I speak, so to those who are of other religions do not be quick to judge until you have spoken to TRUE Muslims.
They are a people of peace and understanding even to those who do not believe such as I and will embrace you if you will only give them a chance!!
Peace to all
Voice of reason
I do not like the term atheist and the connotationa that come with it, because being reasonable I have not searched the entire universe and do not know whether there is a god of some sort or not.

The importance of spiritual preacher |

The importance of spiritual preacher
Smt. Uma Ramanath asked about the importance of spiritual preacher (Guru).
Swami gave the following reply:
A lecturer in Government College will teach you the syllabus and at the same time acts as the invigilator, valuer of the paper etc. and finally you are getting a valued degree from the college. Similarly, the Lord acting as Guru preaches the spiritual knowledge, guides you practically, tests your knowledge in practice and finally gives you the suitable divine fruit. A teacher conducting tuition home is just teaching you and is not connected to the examination, degree etc. Similarly, a human being acting as Guru preaches you the spiritual knowledge and not concerned with your practice and its fruit. The human guru may be able to deliver the knowledge of Satguru (Lord acting as Guru) as it is, but cannot clarify your doubts in the practical field as effectively as Satguru does.
If you are hearing the speech through a tape recorder, the clarification of doubts is not possible. Even in the speech, some parts may not be clear to you due to the defects in your grasping power only. The human guru serves as a messenger of the Lord only. He is just like a postman. Therefore, the guru you referred in the Sanskrit verse uttered by you means only Satguru. However, Satguru is not frequently available. Still the Lord will clarify your doubts through some body since the Lord has the super power. Therefore, you need not worry that your doubts will be remaining without clarification in the absence of Satguru. The Lord is always ready to explain your doubts either directly or indirectly. If you deserve to go to the upper level, you will certainly rise to the upper level by the direct or indirect guidance of God. However, if you are not capable of rising to the higher level, what is the use of even meeting Satguru directly? Therefore, you should not worry about the availability of Satguru. You should worry only about your spiritual progress to rise to the higher level and you must concentrate on removing the hurdles in your spiritual progress. If you are a tenth class candidate and even if you meet the president of the country, he can give you only the post of a peon.
If you have passed I.A.S examination, the appointment order for the post of District Collector comes to your home. Sri Rama Krishna Paramahamsa told that one need not search for Guru. God will send Gurus of various levels as and when you reach those levels. When you are ripened, Satguru will contact you at once. You may miss Satguru in your search. But Satguru will not miss you when the proper time comes. Satguru cannot do any good to any undeserving fellow. For the sake of majority, Satguru will not come down because He is not bothered about the fame. Krishna preached hundred Kauravas but of no use. Only the five Pandavas followed Krishna as their Satguru. Sakuni could become Satguru for Kauravas. But finally both the Sakuni and Kauravas were destroyed. A teacher in bogus institution gets you a bogus degree which has no value at all. Therefore, the Lord as Satguru and devotee of the Lord as a human guru are good. But the fraud Guru will destroy himself and yourself. It is better to confine to your family if you are not getting Satguru but you should be never trapped by a fraud Guru.
Satguru is the Lord in the human form. You should not see the external human form and should view the Lord only in Him. In the case of human guru, there is no Lord in him but you can treat the external human form as the possessor of power of God. In the first case you should understand the Lord as Guru and in the second case you should understand the Guru as the Lord. There is a difference between God as Guru and Guru as God. Your husband says “Guru Deva Datta” whenever he speaks to Me. The word Guru Deva has two meanings as per the Sanskrit Grammar. In one meaning God is treated as Guru and in the second meaning the Guru is treated as God. There is difference between these two meanings. The second word “Datta” clarifies that the first word is used strictly in the first sense only. Datta means God given to you in human form for the sake of your guidance. Guidance should be essential for your practice. Even clarification of your theoretical doubts should lead you to practice. Unless theory is clear practice cannot start. If there is no practice the entire theory is waste. If the theory is perfect, the practice is spontaneous. Therefore, the clarity in the theory and clarification of your doubts is very very important. Without understanding this, people mock at theory and stress on practice. Without complete and perfect theory, the practice cannot begin. Sometimes people practice due to fear or due to ambition for fulfilling the desires. The Satguru will never base on these two paths of fear and ambition. The false Guru exploits the people using either fear or ambition or both for some selfish gain like money, fame etc. But the followers are utterly deceived because such practice is not giving any good and complete fruit.
Satguru leads you to goal without any long time and deep strain. Suppose you have a bad quality like rigidity. Due to the same quality Duryodhana went to hell and Gopikas went to highest divine abode. In the first case rigidity was applied to worldly affairs (Pravrutti). In the second case the same quality is applied to the spiritual line (Nivrutti). A Satguru will direct your existing bad qualities to the spiritual line and will see that you will use those qualities positively for your real welfare. An ordinary human being acting as Guru will advise you to come to the spiritual line after removing bad qualities. The innocent and ignorant Guru does not know that millions of births are required even to shake a bad quality which was accumulated form the beginning of creation.
This is the difference between a Satguru and human Guru. Satguru generates the divine knowledge. The human guru carries on that knowledge in-to-to. Sometimes a practical problem arises in your spiritual path. The solution for that problem needs generation of divine knowledge, which is impossible for the human Guru. Therefore, if you get Satguru you are very lucky. But, if you do not use His guidance due to your blind attractions, in such case Satguru is useless for you like Sun for a blind man. If you have the maturity of mind to use the guidance, God will speak to you even through the human guru. Therefore, your determination to achieve the goal is the most important factor. If you have such determination, God will approach you in some human form and will guide you properly. Therefore, the problem lies on your side and not on the side of Satguru. How much lucky we are! We are directly talking with the Lord and getting the perfect spiritual guidance. The Lord is staying in My human body. There is no trace of any doubt about this.
When the devotees were calling Me as Lord Datta, I was confused and was very careful about the egoism that may trap Me. But slowly, I am convinced with this point on doing analysis from several angles. This wonderful divine knowledge cannot come from any human being except Lord Datta. These wonderful devotional songs which came spontaneously cannot be composed by any soul except Lord Datta. The vision of cosmic form (Viswa Roopam) can be given only by the Lord and such vision was given to two devotees simultaneously (Ajay and Seetamma) through this human body by Lord Datta. By the age of 16 years who can write hundred philosophical books in Sanskrit except Lord Datta through this human body? Lord Datta entered this human body even in the womb of My mother. Once My mother was telling Me that when she was carrying Me, she used to often get dreams in which she was finding various deities (various forms of God) with temple-bells ringing constantly.
There were two black-magicians in My village, who killed about hundred persons and three hundred children through their black magic in our village. In our joint family seven male issues before My birth were also killed by their black magic. The day I was born, both those demons were killed in violent way. All these factors led Me to conclude that the Lord is staying in My human body for His divine work of propagation of divine knowledge. I am just like all of you and there is no specialty in Me and no special favour is done to Me. The Lord is the speaker I am very very near to Him holding on the mike before His mouth. All His speech is common to all of us. After the war Arjuna asked Krishna to repeat Gita. Krishna expressed His inability to repeat because He also heard Gita from the Lord like Arjuna. When Arjuna pressed, Krishna told Gita again. But the second Gita (Anu Gita) stands nowhere before the first Gita. This is the concept of the human incarnation. The Lord enters the human body of a human being. The guest (Lord) and the owner of the house (devoted human being) are like the two birds and the body is like a tree. Like this Veda says (Dvaa Suparnaa). When the Lord said the first Gita, it is mentioned that the Lord spoke (Sri Bhagvan Uvacha). It is not said that Krishna spoke. Therefore, let all of us follow the Lord’s divine knowledge and get the eternal benefit. The Lord has to enter some human body and He entered this human body accidentally or incidentally. The divine knowledge spoken by the Lord (Satguru) is the guiding force, which clarifies all our doubts leading to determination, which results spontaneously in practice.
Satguru is the Lord in human form like Krishna. Even a liberated soul can be Satguru because He is directed by the Lord. He speaks as per the will of God. Swami Raghavendra, an incarnation of Prahlada is also a Satguru. He will speak whatever Lord wants to speak and thus there is no difference between the Lord and such top most devotees. In olden days the Guru tests the level of the devotee and used to expose that much knowledge only which is related to his level so that the devotee gets benefit. This is called as “Anubandha Chatushtaya” which means the level of the devotee (Adhikari), the portion of the knowledge (Vishaya) that is related to him (Sambandha) and the benefit (Prayojana). Suppose there are three devotees on the ground. One can climb ten steps only. The second one can climb fifty steps and the third devotee can climb all hundred steps. The Guru reveals ten steps only to the first devotee and says that the tenth step is the final step. If you reveal even the eleventh step he will be discouraged. Similarly for the second devotee only fifty steps should be revealed. For the third devotee the entire knowledge can be revealed.
But at present the Lord is revealing the entire divine knowledge through this computer. It is just like the booklet showing all the courses present in the University. According to the level one has to select the course. This facility was not there in the olden days. One need not be discouraged because if you are constantly putting the effort to climb the steps continuously, God will sanction any number of human births to reach the goal. The spiritual path has no physical significance. It is not like the journey to Bombay which needs the help of vehicles. The whole journey is related to your psychology or mental set-up which should act with full determination. The determination will spontaneously come through complete and real divine knowledge. The real knowledge can alone clarify all the doubts. When no doubt is left over the knowledge is complete, which immediately results in determination. Therefore, Guru is more important than even the God is because Guru is the guide and God is the goal. When God Himself comes to you as Guru, there is no need of any journey. He will guide you so that you will recognize Him. But His guidance is always delicate and critical because there is always a risk of your misunderstanding about Him. If somebody guides you to Him, such risk is not there. But such guidance will not be as clear as His guidance. Therefore, the issue gets mixed up.
When you recognize the God in human form, your concentration should be on the God present in Him. Since you cannot directly experience God, the medium is necessary. When you are experiencing God through the human form, the awareness of the external human form should disappear. When you touch an electric wire, your awareness is about the shock of current but not about the structure of the wire. Therefore, you have to see the aspect of God in Satguru and treat Him as directly the God (Guruh Sakshat Parabrahma). This means that you should find only God in Satguru. The case of a human Guru blessed by God is like the hot iron wire in the heater which was heated by the electricity but the current is put off. The effect of the current, which is the heat, remains in the wire.
The heat burns your finger but does not give a shock. Similarly, the human incarnation of a liberated soul has the power of God, though not directly God and is called as Guru. The third example is the wire in which neither the electricity nor the heat exists. To develop concentration in one direction you can treat such wire also as God and such worship is called as representative worship (Pratika Upasanam). There is no fruit from the object but there is fruit in the subject which is the development of concentration. The first two cases are direct and indirect worship of God resulting in the achievement of fruit from the object. For the representative worship you can select any human being you like as your Guru which has also the advantage of development of concentration in yourself.

All the religions in the world are the feathers of the same bird |

All the religions in the world are the feathers of the same bird i.e., God with different colours. There is only one God and there is only one universe. Similarly the man is also only one. Man should aim that one God and he should belong to all the religions in the universe. He should pick up the diamonds from all the religions and use in his spiritual path. One can have love towards the nationality. Every nation has some physical boundaries. The people who are living in that nation have that nationality. Thus there is a meaning in the nationality because it has physical sense. But in the case of religion and spiritualism there is no physical sense. Every religion belongs to every man. Therefore in religious and spiritual matters all the religions can be used. The human incarnation in every religion announces that He is the universal preacher. The message of Lord Krishna i.e., Bhagavat Gita is for the entire world. The message of Jesus i.e., Bible is for the entire world. The message of Mohammed is for the entire world. So there is no need of conversion of religions. Just like in science the invention of Einstein is useful for the whole world, every religious preaching is for everybody. Different scientists belonging to different countries have discovered different scientific inventions. The subject science contains all these inventions. If any invention is removed the science become discontinuous. Similarly the spiritualism consists of the preaching of the preachers belonging to various countries. The spiritualism must be built up by the preaching of Lord Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Mahavir etc. Spiritualism means truth like science. Different religions are following their preachers and they have taken the essence of their scriptures into the practice. Such traditional practices are like different experimental parts of Science. The scriptures of different religions are like the different theories in various chapters of science. In science the student does not distinguish the scientist based on his nationality. Similarly in spiritualism one should not have repulsion or attraction to any scripture or tradition in the World.
The spiritualism requires divine virtues, which are emphasized in various religions. The firm faith of Islam, the infinite love of Christianity, the tolerance towards other religions of Hinduism, the social service of Bhuddhism and the non violence of Jainism are important virtues of the spiritualism. These are the practical traditional aspects of various religions, which are more precious than those scriptures. Tradition is the most important essence of the scripture.
One must praise the firm faith of a Muslim on God associated with strict regularity and discipline. People are worshipping God either in the leisure time or on a holiday. But a Muslim worships God on every day whether it is a holiday or not. He worships God regularly at some intervals of time whether it is leisure or working time. The faith on God and the importance to God supercedes everything and every activity. This aspect is a page in the book of spiritualism.
Another page in the book of spiritualism is a tradition of Christianity, which is the infinite love. Bible says “revenge is mine”. The Christians love even their enemies proving that love is infinite. Love is God. God is infinite and so Love is infinite. Such infinite love can only attract the God. The proof of love is sacrifice in service. Christians sacrifice lot of their money for the spiritual works. Their love is so unlimited that they sacrifice money even to the spiritual centers of other religions. Even if some religion is opposing their religion they fund the other religion and this shows their love even to enemies. Their love in the family bonds is very weak. So the love is stored in their hearts without flowing. This concentrated love in the heart flows entirely towards God and so they sacrifice lot of their earnings for the work of God. They do not store the wealth for their children, and they ask their children to earn and live after certain age.
Hinduism should be another page. The house of every Hindu contains photos of different forms of God. At the same time they find only one God (Para Brahma) in all those forms of God. They treat the different forms of God as the different dresses of the same actor. This indicates that there is only one God for the entire world and Lord Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, and Mahavir are only the different dresses of the same God. This brings the brotherly hood of all the human beings in the entire world.
Another page must be Buddhism. Buddha kept silent on God because Veda says that God is beyond even imagination. His silence is misunderstood as atheism. He concentrated on the society, which is entire universe. All the human beings in this universe must be uplifted through right knowledge. Buddha means knowledge. Any incarnation of God does the same work.
Jainism is another page. They do not kill any living being. The highest justice (Dharma) is non-violence (Ahimsa). God has given life to any living being. What right you have to kill and eat it? You can kill even a human being if he disturbs the peace and justice of a human society. Lord killed evil people in that way. But to kill a living being which does not harm you in any way is the highest sin. God has given sufficient vegetarian food to all the living beings. Science proves today that non-vegetarian food is not good for health.
Similarly there are precious traditions of other religions which should be copied on different pages of the book of spiritualism. It should be just like a book of science. Spiritualism is the most important practical line to achieve the grace of the God. As the Science is the universal subject, spiritualism must also be the universal subject. The nations may have physical boundaries but the spiritualism is the single ocean in which all the religions mix like rivers. Every human being in this world must enter this ocean through a river and settle there as a sea fish. The man should not stop the journey while he is in the river. He should follow the journey of the river up to the end where he can find the sea with unlimited boundaries. The man is not moving along with his religion and is becoming stagnant as a river fish only.

The spirit of fasting in Islam
By Afif A Tabbarah
IN Arabic "fasting" means abstinence from doing something. According to religious scholars, it is an abstinence from food, drink and sexual intercourse, carried out from dawn till sunset, for gaining Allah's Content.
The principles of fasting are set in the Holy Qur'an as follows: O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) selfrestraint. Fast for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it, (with hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will - it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.
Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down The Qur'an as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgement (between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (on the confirmed sight of the new moon) in that month should spend it in fasting; and if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intendeth every facility for you; He doth not want to put you to difficulties. (He wanteth you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful (II: 183185).
In "O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you," Allah explains that fasting is not new among the Holy Laws; it was ordained to previous peoples as well. This doubtlessly soothes the heart, facilitates the acceptance of fasting, and sweeps away the feeling of vexation, because Muslims are not the only people requested to fast.
After this, Allah adds "that ye may (learn) selfrestraint," and this is the purpose of fasting. People are commanded to adopt fasting as a means to protect themselves against wicked and evil motives. Fasting safeguards the person as an individual, and the society as a whole. It protects the person from turning into a beast living according to the Law of the Jungle; it also protects society by preparing the devout individual to work for the general welfare, thus living as a human being with other human beings, not as a wild beast with other human beings.
To this effect, the Prophet (peace be upon him) confirms: "Fasting is a shelter. When one of you is fasting, let him not behave in an obscene or foolish manner. If someone intends to fight against him or scold him, let him just say: I am fasting! I am fasting!"
Fasting is a shelter in the sense that·the faster knows his fasting is carried out in order to avoid the evil of his animal nature. When he proclaims, I am fasting! he is fully aware that he says it under the effect of his human, not animal nature.
When he safeguards himself against the evils of his animal nature, and his society against his own evil, he gains Allah's Content, and thus takes his stand among the righteous.
"That ye may," here, bears the sense of preparation and readiness. The way fasting prepares the spirits of fasters for the devotion of Allah, is manifested in many aspects, the most important of which is the following. As a personal affair, fasting is left to the conviction of the faster himself, with none assuming the role of guardian over him except Allah.
When the faster obeys Allah's Commandments by rejecting the appeals of his desires that come to his mind during fasting, or when he trains himself to be patient every time he is tempted by delights and desires, out of feeling that Allah watches him and knows all the secrets of his heart - when he keeps on this for a full month (Ramadan), out of this continuous heed accompanying his activities he certainly will attain the gift of Allah's Watch over him, as well as his own fear of the Lord. He will try to avoid the shameful situation of Allah's finding him where he is prohibited to be. Allah's Watch over him enables him to carry out all deeds of goodness, and keeps him away from evil. He then would not cheat, ill treat or do injustice to others; nor would he spread corruption among people.
However, the mere abstinence from food and drink is not the real meaning of fasting that Allah enjoined on the righteous. The Prophet (pbuh) declares: "Allah does not accept the fasting of those who do not restrain themselves from telling falsehood or from doing false deeds."
The basic truth of fasting in Islam springs from Allah's Watch over the faster, as well as the latter's carrying out of his fast for the cause of none but Allah. To this effect, the Prophet explains: "Allah will forgive all the sins of those who fast during Ramadan out of true belief and in anticipation of Allah's Reward in the Hereafter."
In the same way, fasting prepares the spirits of fasters for the devotion of Allah, in the sense that fasting moderates the violence of their instinctive desires, the source of all sins. Along this vein, the Prophet (pbuh) declares: "O ye young people! Those of you who can afford marriage, let them marry, for it confines eyes to modesty and protects the wombs (of women) from evil intentions. Those of you who cannot do this, let them fast because fasting breaks off their lusts."
Virtues and Benefits of Fasting
On both the individual and social levels, fasting has many virtues and benefits. Of these we can mention the feeling of sympathy for the poor. When a faster feels hungry he remembers such people who are always hungry, which leads him to sympathise with the poor. After all, man's sense of compassion springs from his feeling of pain, and fasting is a practical means to develop compassion in his spirit. When rich people establish such a feeling for the hungry poor, their inner humane principles attain an effective authority. In this regard, it is reported that Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was the most generous among people, and he was especially generous during Ramadan.
Moreover, fasting establishes equality among the rich and the poor. In a way, it is a compulsory experience of poverty in that it is meant to make all people share an equality, not diversity, of feeling and to sympathise with one another through a collective sense of pain, not through a discord or diversity of desires.
Among the other virtues of fasting is that it moderates the power of habits. With some people, the dictates of habit have reached the extreme of enslavement. If a meal is served late when they are hungry, they lose their temper. The effects of stimulants like coffee, tea or smoking are even stronger on their addicts than those of food.
In fasting there is a sharpening of one's willpower. A German professor once wrote a book on the strengthening of will power, the basis of which he considers to be fasting. In his book, he maintains that fasting is an effective means to establish the control of the spirit over the body, where man lives with a full control over himself, without being a slave to his physical inclinations or needs.
Islam's Mitigation of the Severity of Fasting
Some people may happen to be ill during the month of Ramadan, or just may be on a tiring journey. In this case, Allah's Wisdom necessitates that the severity of fasting be mitigated for these people, and to this effect, Allah instructs: "If any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) from days later (II: 184). People like these may make up for the days on which they break their fast, outside Ramadan when they can afford it. A traveller is allowed to break his fast when he makes a moderate march of a day and a night, which covers around 86km and a half.
In this regard, Abdullah Yusuf Ali comments by saying: "Illness and journey must not be interpreted in an elastic sense: they must be such as to cause real pain or suffering if the fast were observed. For journey, ... some Commentators ... make it ... precise by naming a distance of 16 farsakhs, equivalent to 48 miles. A journey of 8 or 9 miles on foot is more tiring than a similar one by bullock cart. There are various degrees of fatigue in riding a given distance on horseback or by camel or in a comfortable train or by car or by steamer, aeroplane, or airship. In my opinion, the standard must depend on the means of transportation and on the relative resources of the traveller. It is better to determine it in each case according to circumstances."
Then we have Allah's words: "For those who can do it (with hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent." Such ability with hardship means reaching the utmost a person can stand, and Arabs make this statement only when a person is too weak to do something, so that he suffers a lot in doing it. The people meant in this verse are aged people, ill persons, women suckling their babes, women expecting childbirth, or those whose illness is terminal. Such people may break their fast, and, for every day they break their fast, offer food for a poor person enough to feed a middleaged man; and thus escape damnation.
Allah then adds, "But he that will give more, of his own free will" - by increasing the prescribed ransom, feeding more than just one poor person for every day he breaks his fast, or combining another fast with the prescribed ransom - "it is better for him;" the benefit and good credit of such a deed will be his, after all.
Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgeme(between right and wrong). This part of the verse specifies the period of fasting required of Muslims, the days of Ramadan. The wisdom underlying the choice of this month for this kind of worship, is its being the month in which the Qur'an was revealed.
So every one of you who is present (on the confirmed sight of the new moon) in that month should spend it in fasting. The "new moon" stands for a new month, which is an Arab tradition. Consequently, those who see the new moon themselves or trust its sight by others, have to start their fasting. The coming on of Ramadan is confirmed in one of two ways: 1) either through direct sight of the new moon if the sky is clear; 2) or, if it is cloudy, and in this case the new moon cannot be seen, by counting 30 days for Sha'ban (the month before Ramadan), after which fasting is then started. The Prophet (pbuh) explains the case by saying: "Start your fast when you see (the new moon), and end it up when you see it again. If its sight is concealed to you, count 30 days for Sha'ban."
As for the people of the North Pole and South Pole where nights and days extend to months in some polar regions - such people may estimate their period of fasting in harmony with the temperate area to which the revelation of Islam was sent, like Makkah or Medina. According to some Commentators, this can be better done in relation to the timing of the moderate area nearest to these people.
