  Anti-sunnah...wake Up!!!!
Posted by: Qutuz - 08-06-2004, 01:56 AM - Forum: Islam - Replies (37)

Asslamu Aalaykum

i won't feel bad if the moderators decide to edit or even remove this post..really.

-----------------

in all the anti sunna websites you will find the name of this man...Edip Yuksel.

maybe our two resident anti-sunnah doesn't know that some of what they posted was originaly written by Edip Yuksel.....

for example

Edip Yuksel is one of the leading Turkish and English language activists for the promotion of GOD Alone. Edip has translated the Quran into Turkish (Mesaj - Kuran Cevirisi) as well as publishing a number of articles and books covering various subjects (religious, political, theological). Edip's work can be found at Yuksel.org and more recently at 19.org.

and as described in another anti sunnah site

Edip Yuksel is one of the leading Turkish and English language activists for the promotion of the Quran. Edip has translated the Quran into Turkish (Mesaj - Kuran Cevirisi) as well as publishing a number of articles and books covering various subjects (religious, political, theological). Edip's work can be found at Yuksel.org and more recently at 19.org.

noticed something?? yes..its the same gang.

now lets move on the interesting finding

Mr Edip Yuksle who is supposed to reform Islam and wake us up is a 19er....hmmm...19er means that he believe that Rashid Khalifa is a prophet!!..not just that.....he is as a 19er denounce two verses from Quran!!!..the last two verses in Al Tawba chapter........you don't believe me??

<b>Melvin </b>After you came to the conclusion that 9:128-129 are not from God
, what were your environment's reactions to the decision?

<b>Edip Yuksel</b> It was not a surprise. I expected excommunication, loss of family connection, popularity, job (best-selling author), political future and friends, threat and even death. All happened except for the last one. Thank God, for each loss God blessed me with better ones.

but what do you expect?? first step denouncing the sunnah and the next step is denouncing Quran and then what..hmmmm!!

Muslimah, Why Won't You Answer These Questions?
Posted by: THE_ICONOCLAST - 08-05-2004, 08:27 PM - Forum: Islam - Replies (15)

Muslimah

<b>***And THE_ICONOCLAST it seems that u like this example of tenessee. Do u receive training somewhere, or u have a standarad replies for certain arguments.</b>

***

Muslimah, your above comment is not helpful as it did not address what I queried you about nor is it a refutation of LUL and my position. Locking threads, likewise, is not helpful.

Answer my questions and I certainly answer yours, insha-Allah.

Anyway...

Some Muslims go backpacking in the remote Ozark mountains of Tenneesee and upon leaving one of them discovers that he left his Qur'an [in english] at the camp site. Well, one of the residents of the area who lives there happens upon the Qur'an and begins to read it.

Based on the above scenario, please answer the following questions, but before you do, think about what Allah is saying in the following ayats:

18.54 And<i><b> certainly We have explained in this Quran every kind of example</b></i>, and man is most of all given to contention.

29.51 Is it <i><b>not sufficient/enough </b></i>for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe.

Do you believe and accept the above two ayats, yes or no?

Please answer the following with a simple yes or no, thanks.

a. will that person know who Allah is and what He has commanded him/her and mankind to do?

b. Will that person know how to take shahada?

c. will that person know how to practice righteousness/justice?

d. will that person know how to call upon/pray to Allah?

e. will that person, upon reading Al-Qur'an and following its contents, be admitted to Paradise?

Looking forward to your reply. And, please, no conjectures, just facts.

  Answer the Prophet's Call

<b>As Salam Alykom
</b>

As we all observed our two new members who I presume belong to the Qur-aneeyeen sect, we consulted among ourselves and we found that banning them or ignoring their issues is not a recommended option. But rather we decided to take the difficult one and bring the truth. If they were Muslims as they present themselves, since in the cyber world it is really hard to know which is which, they might reconsider and see the truth, if not then Alhamdulelah we served Allah, made our homework, searched for us and others to benefit. We also, in order not to retain the reward contaced a number of our members to contribute with us here. May Allah support us, expand our chests and annul a knot in our tongues ameen.Insh a Allah we are going to dedicate a thread to regularly post relevant material to the topic of Sunnah importance.

Here we are starting with the translation of a Friday Surmon delivered by Sheikh Ahmed Al Qattan:

The Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) foretold in the authentic hadeeth that he detemines what is Halal and what is Haram just the Quran. There is a group of people who believe that only Quran contain Halal and Haram. When you talk to one of them advising that the Messenger of Allah said so, his reply would be: is this in Quran? In case your response would be no, his reaction would be this does not stand as evidence on halal or haram. Give me an Ayah from Quran stating this point. Matter of fact this is exactly what the Prophet foretold saying there will be people and men from his Ummah who come after him saying exactly what we just mentioned above. His (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) expectation came true on all levels. A number of the leaders actually adopt this attitude saying yes Quran is between you and me, but as for Bukhari or Muslim, these are not but the books of Dervishes which were changed and distorted , thus burning the Messenger’s hadeeth. Another group of affluent people who are contained in their own desires usually reject issues made unlawful by the Messenger in case he made a detailed ruling on a point which did not come as detailed in Quran.

Just listen carefully to this great hadeeth in which the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) foretold about this issue and told his Ummah saying: ” The man is about [in arabic this word is ushek which indicates the closeness of the incident just as we might say the woman is about to deliver when she is in her ninth month]. He said the man from you (his Ummah) is about to site on his couch before a gathering of people stating my hadeeth and saying between you and me is the book of Allah, what we find in it as lawful we make lawful and what we find in it as unlawful we make unlawful. What was the comment of the Messenge Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam? Just listen. [What was made unlawful by the Messenger Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam is just as what Allah made unlawful.

What was made Haram by the Messenger Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam is originally made by Allah, since he never enacts legislation on his own, but rather he conveys what Allah S ays. He is a Messenger from Allah who receives from Allah through the Arch angle Jabriel. Therefore, Allah Say in Quran: "It is only an Inspiration that is inspired" (Quran 53: 4).

Based on the above mentioned which stated this fact, in order to confirm this fact, Mohamed (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) made a number of issues, which were not included in Quran, Haram. He also fully explained and detailed other issues, on which we obey him, were not also mentioed in Quran. He taught us the number of prayer, which were not included in Quran. Allah Say Establish prayer, but how many? How many Raka`as are Fajr prayer? Or Zohr or so. Mohamed Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) taught us all this.

Allah SWT Say:" And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage)."(22: 37) But Mohamed Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) said:” Take your rituals after me” he also said:” Pray just as you saw me praying”.

All such details are included in hadeeth and was not in Quran. Thus just be careful not to fall into this grave mistake in which people get trapped. In case you tell someone a hadeeth, he would reply is this an authentic hadeeth that can serve as an evidence. Here lies the major threat. One who rejects authentic hadeeth making Quran only a reference in dealing with people has a description in Quran. Listen here: "He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), has indeed obeyed Allah" (Quran 4:80). Therefore, one who obeys the Messenger Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) obeys Allah SAW. Allah Continues Saying:" , but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as a watcher over them" (4:80).

It means one who turns away from your hadeeth, giving you his back or side in a sign of rejection shall not be protected, but rather shall be a subject for shaytans to hunt. Allah SWT Say:" O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)" (Quran 4: 59). And also:" And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)" (Quran 4:115). The underlined part in Arabic is ushaqeq which best translates as divid with or conflicts with. It is a clear expression of one who is in a different place or side than that of the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) . We advice you to maintain a position where the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) is in order to be gathered with him in the Day of Resurrection. Do not join the wolves. Serurity is where the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) who is protected by Allah SWT. The Ayah expresses the status of one who conflicts with the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) shall be located in a different side than that of the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) Allah Continues in the same Ayah stating the result of such situation Saying:" after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination." Therefore, believers has a certain path coupled with specific characterists including looks, talk ..etc. Just live among the believers in order to become familiar with them. All those Ayahs simply serve the hadeeth mentioned above. Look at this Ayah:" And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them." (Quran 24:63). Fitnah as explained here is one in religion as one may go to sleep a Muslim and wakes up with a hateful feeling towards the Deen. In this Ayah Allah Included women as well just to close the argument that women are execluded from this rule:" It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter" (Quran 33:36).

As clearly indicated, all the previously mentioned Ayah revolve around the necessity to obey the Messenger's hadeeth. Let us listen to him while among his companions and he is telling them this amazing hadeeth. He said:" All my Ummah shall go to Jannah except one who refuses. When he said one he refuses, the companions were amazed. Who is this who is refuses to go to Jannah with the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam). They replied O Messenger of Allah and who refuses? He said: One who obeys me shall go to Jannah and one who disobeys me refused" (2)

Just look at the glorious Quran when it determines the responsibility of the sense. Allah SWT made the senses to be dedicated for obedience and worship as in:" And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone)" (Quran 51:56). Senses as we know include sight, hearing and of course the tongue which all must be devoted to the worship of Allah Lord of the Worlds. Allah indicates the importance of the hearing. One must use it in the proper manner as when he/she encounters rememberance, he/she must immediately assign the hearing to receive. At this point, one attains comfort and feels the light. Allah Say:" Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful" (Quran 50:37). Allah Indicated one who has heart. Of course all people have hearts, but Allah here Is Talking about the core of belief not the blood heart. Allah Is Talking about the Divine light. Those people stated in the Ayah, what do they have? The have hearing in case the heart become absent, the hearing shall be alerted which might be affected with the advice. As the hearing starts to receive the heart may be revived. Therefore, Allah detailed this point as Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful.

Dear brothers and sisters, the Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) did not overlook an issue related to Halal or Haram good or evil except that he fully explained it to his Ummah in order to avoid the evil and follow the good. We may inquire who narrated this hadeeth, it is Hudhayfah Ibn Al Yaman Katem ser Rasull Allah (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) who said: The Messenger (Salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam) addressed us in a comprehensive surmon which included what ever may occur till the Hour. The surmon took the whole day. He prayed Fajr, started the Khutba, then prayerd Zohr continued the Khutba, then Asr and continued. It is a significant Khutba that contained temptations, those who set reforms, follow sects and innovations. Hudhaya, therefore, says:" One who is acknowledged about it shall be aware and one who overlooks it shall be ignorant about it.

  Lies My Teacher Told Me
Posted by: Dan - 08-04-2004, 04:13 AM - Forum: Books you read - No Replies

Bismillah

I am reading a book called "Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything your American History Textbook Got Wrong" by James W. Loewen. This is a very good read. I highly recommend it, especially to Americans. Basically, history is not really being taught in schools, nationalism is. It is a sad state we are in when the truth of history is squashed for fear that people might actually make up their own minds about certain situations. History is not written in stone. It is fluid and changes with new discoveries and insites. We must start teaching it as such instead of using it to indoctrinate people.

Peace.

Subject: Who's next? Mohammad, Holy Quran, Islam, Muslims, Dhimmitude, Wahhabism, Jihad

Why don't you do something useful and 'WARN' the American people about Islam and Muslims. You really think you are fooling anybody?

We are web designers in California, in and around Silicone Valley. We have several information webs about the truth of Islam and was directed to many of your Mosque locations because our many webs frequent attempted 'trashing' by someone in the vicinity of many Mosques across the country. The web they don't like is at http://64.173.179.50/Dhimmitude/Default.htm A lot of research went into the information and contrary to your tenant, Islam is not a religion peace, never, ever has been, is not now. America is not a Sudan or other unfortunate sub continent country Islam preys on. We are sure there are a few good Muslims, but as you will see, the religion of Islam is diametrically opposed to the Bible and our way of life. We are accumulating the IPs of the attempted vandalism of our WEBs, and on an on going basis turn them into the FBI, but when we reach a hundred we are going to Fox News and NPR.

All we see are Muslim men, women, children make death, celebrate death, any death, anywhere, anytime, anyplace, with much enthusiasm.

NEVER IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN HISTORY HAS ANY PEOPLE - oppressed or otherwise - killed their own children, telling them that if they murder other children along with themselves, they will go to heaven. Not even the Nazis attempted such a perversion of religion or of basic human instinct. The huge majority of Muslims have nothing that can be called a civil society, they live under absolute rule, despotism, authoritarianism, totalitarianism, Islamo-fascism or whatever, and you want to bring this to a moral, civilized, literate society, -the United States?

East Turkestan: China Jails Uyghur Journalist For
Posted by: uyghur - 08-02-2004, 01:10 PM - Forum: Current Affairs - No Replies

A court in the Muslim Uyghur region of Xinjiang in northwest China has jailed a journalist who reported on political tensions there for separatist activities and leaking state secrets overseas, Ra's Uyghur service reports.

Abdulghani Memetemin, 40, was handed a nine-year jail term by the Intermediate People's Court in the Xinjiang city of Kashgar, according to a copy of the court judgement sent to RFA.

"Abdulghani Memetemin is accused of threatening the integrity of the state by separatist means, violating state secrets and sending them outside the country," the Kashgar court judgement said.

The judgement listed 18 counts of the charges against the former reporter for the Germany-based East Turkistan Information Center (ETIC), who was forced to work secretly and had warned ETIC that he was likely to be caught.

They included such news reports as the detention of a well-known Muslim cleric, discrimination against Uyghurs for adhering to Islamic religious practices by their employers, and an undercover trip to Central Asian countries by 20 Chinese State Security officers disguised as businessmen, it said.

The judgement also singled out Abdulghani Memetemin's translations into Chinese of key official speeches and news about oppression of Uyghurs, an issue of possibly even greater sensitivity for Beijing than the reporting of the pro-independence viewpoint overseas.

While the court found Abdulghani Memetemin guilty of violating secret state information, it said he could not be said to have threatened the integrity of the state. The judgement cited his helpful attitude and acceptance of the charges against him. Memetemin represented himself during the proceedings. His argument — that he had no separatist intentions &mdsah; was dismissed, according to the judgment.

It said the accused's assertion: "I admitted all my crimes and ask the court to consider this" was taken into consideration. But ETIC said he had been tortured at the hands of Chinese security officials.

"To claim that [Abdulghani Memetemin] disclosed the nation's secrets to people overseas and attempted to "split" the country is total slander," the East Turkistan Information Center (ETIC) said in a recent e-mail to Amnesty International forwarded to RFA's Uyghur service. "He never attended any political activities."

"According to our information, since he was arrested, he was inhumanly tortured by the Chinese government and his family members were banned from visiting him," ETIC said, calling for Abdulghani Memetemin's release.

The judgement concluded: "The crimes of the accused Abdulghani Memetemin are grave and the damage to the state secrecy is great and requires therefore a heavy punishment." Memetemin was sentenced to nine years in prison and "deprivation of political rights" for three years. The term of punishment ends in July 2011.

Human rights groups and Western governments routinely criticize China for its heavy-handed treatment of the Uyghur population in Xinjiang.

Beijing has backed the U.S.-led war on terror, and called for international support for its campaign against Uyghur separatists, whom it has branded terrorists.

China says Uyghurs seeking an independent Islamic state have killed 162 people and injured 440 others.

Uyghurs constitute a distinct, Turkic-speaking, Muslim minority in northwestern China and Central Asia. They declared a short-lived East Turkestan Republic in Xinjiang in the late 1940s, but have remained under Beijing's control since 1949.

According to a Chinese Government white paper, in 1998 Xinjiang comprised 8 million Uyghurs, 2.5 million other ethnic minorities, and 6.4 million Han Chinese-up from 300,000 Han in 1949. Most Uyghurs are poor farmers, and at least 25 percent are illiterate.

The Order Of The Verses And Surahs In The Quran

As salaamu aleikum sisters and brothers,

Can anyone of you help me to find a reference on the web where can be read how the Quran came to be in its form of a Book. When Abu Bakr decided to make the revealed verses into a Book, had our beloved Prophet, PHUB, marked the verses so they knew in which Surah they belonged and in what order the Surahs ended up or how was it done?

  Azaan: The Amazing Phenomenon
Posted by: Zainab - 08-02-2004, 07:58 AM - Forum: Islam - No Replies

Azaan: The Amazing Phenomenon

Amazing as it sounds, but fortunately for the Muslims of the world, it is an established fact. Have a look at a map of the world and you will find Indonesia on the eastern side of the earth. The major cities of Indonesia are Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil. As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajar Azaan begins. Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the Azaan.

The process advances towards West Indonesia. One and a half hours after the Azaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta, Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia.

Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its beginning in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of Bangladesh. After Bangladesh, it has already prevailed in western India, from Calcutta to Srinagar.

It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this proclamation. Srinagar and Sialkot (a city in north Pakistan) have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot, Quetta, and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajar Azaan is heard throughout Pakistan. Before it ends there, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat. The time difference between Muscat and > >Baghdad is one hour.

Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq. > > > >The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour. Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and Sudan during this hour. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half ! hours, and during this time it is echoed with the call to prayer.

Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya) are located at one hour's difference. The process of calling Azaan thus continues throughout the whole of Africa. Therefore, the proclamation of the Tawheed and Risaalat that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours. Prior to the Azaan reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the process of Zohar Azaan has already started in east Indonesia, and before it reaches Dhaka, Asar Azaan has started. This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, the time of Maghrib becomes due, and no sooner has Maghrib time reached Sumatra, the time for calling Isha Azaan has commenced in Saibil! When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out Fajar Azaan, the African Muazzins are calling the Azaan for Isha.

If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully, we would conclude the amazing fact that there is not even a single moment when hundreds of thousands of Muazzins around the world are not reciting the Azaan on the surface of this earth. Even as you read this material right now, you can be sure there are at least thousands of people who are hearing and reciting the Azaan!!!

  When You Though I Wasn't Looking ..
Posted by: Zainab - 08-02-2004, 07:50 AM - Forum: General - Replies (7)

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

(Written by a former child)

A message every adult should read, because children

are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you hang my

first painting on the refrigerator, and I

immediately wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you feed a

stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind

to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make my

favorite cake for me and I learned that the little

things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I heard you say a

prayer, and I knew there is a God I could always

talk to and I learned to trust in God.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make a

meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I

learned that we all have to help

take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give of

your time and money to help people who had nothing

and I learned that those who have something should

give to those who don't.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you take

care of our house and everyone in it and I learned

we have to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw how you

handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't

feel good and I learned that I would have to be

responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw tears come

from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things

hurt, but it's all right to cry..

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw that you

cared and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I learned most of

life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and

productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I looked at you

and wanted to say, "Thanks for all the things I saw

when you thought I wasn't looking."

I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO DO

SO MUCH FOR OTHERS AND THINK NO ONE EVER SEES.

LITTLE EYES SEE A LOT.

Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle,

teacher or friend) influence the life of a child.

How will you touch the life of someone today?
