The Order Of The Verses And Surahs In The Quran

Can anyone of you help me to find a reference on the web where can be read how the Quran came to be in its form of a Book. When Abu Bakr decided to make the revealed verses into a Book, had our beloved Prophet, PHUB, marked the verses so they knew in which Surah they belonged and in what order the Surahs ended up or how was it done?
