  Nature of Jesus...again
Posted by: Curious Christian - 07-13-2006, 08:29 PM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (1)

We've discussed a lot about whether or not the bible teaches that Jesus is God. We've discussed certain passages such as John 1 at length. Earlier this morning I expanded my look into the matter and found the following.

I stand by the fact that the Bible teaches that Jesus is God.

Phillipians 2

<b>5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.</b>

Colosians 2

<b>8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.</b>

Titus 2

<b>11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. </b>

15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you

Psalm 45

<b> 6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;</b>

A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom

Quoted in Hebrews 1 as....

<b> 8 But to the Son He says:</b>

“ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;

A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;

Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You

With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

2 Peter

<b>1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,</b>

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

<b>Question: "Is Jesus God? Did Jesus ever claim to be God?"</b>

<b>Answer:</b> Jesus is never recorded in the Bible as saying the exact words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement, “We are not stoning you for any of these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood Jesus’ statement to be a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, “I did not claim to be God.” That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I am!" Again, in response, the Jews take up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Why would the Jews want to stone Jesus if He hadn’t said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God?

John 1:1 says that “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says that “the Word became flesh.” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, "...Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased the church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior - Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, "But about the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom."

In Revelation, an angel instructed the Apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9,17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation had. There are many other verses and passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected - proving His victory over sin and death

EDIT: Actually I should say original <b>copy.</b>

FBI officials said they are looking into an online video showing two men shooting a Quran and then tossing the Muslim holy book down outside a mosque in Chattanooga.

The video was posted June 17 on MySpace.com and is titled "kill the koran."

One scene shows the two men taking turns shooting the Quran with a military rifle and then tossing it onto the sidewalk outside the Islamic Center at 1410 Cemetery Ave.

The location is just off Central Avenue near the National Cemetery.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations of Washington, D.C., asked federal officials to investigate.

Tell me if I am wrong....
Posted by: Curious Christian - 07-12-2006, 03:32 PM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (24)

I've been here for a few months. I've learned a lot of Islam outside of what the media portrays. I wanted to kind of give a summary of what I've learned here. Please correct me where I am wrong if I am wrong and elaborate on any areas which need elaboration.

Theology-

1) Allah - Allah is the one God. Creator of everything. He is one in nature. He has sent many prophets to people on earth to reveal his will. Some prophets are known to us and some are not known.

2) Allah has sent in the past prophets to every group of peoples on earth. So even the eskimos have had a prophet from Allah.

3) Mohammed was Allah's final prophet.

4) The Quran, although produced by Mohammed, was actually written by Allah.

5) The biggest miracle and proof that Mohammed was a prophet from Allah is the Quran itself.

6) Muslims believe that the Quran is perfect, containing no error either scientific or historical.

7) Jesus - Muslims believe that Jesus was another prophet from Allah and not the Son of God and not God.

8) They believe that Jesus' teachings were twisted and that Jesus had no intention of being worshipped as God.

9) They believe in Jesus' virgin birth.

10) They believe that Jesus did not die on the cross, rather a look alike was killed instead and Jesus was laughing from the crowd watching the crucifiction of this other man.

11) Thus they do not believe in the resurrection of Christ. But they do believe that Jesus ascended into heaven and didn't suffer death on earth...yet. They believe he'll die on earth after his return.

12) They believe that parts of the bible are from Allah (God) and some parts are not from Allah. (I am not sure which parts though)

13) They believe that Mohammed was sinless as Christ was sinless. Meaning that they never committed intentional sin.

14) They believe that salvation comes from obeying the law of Allah as prescribed in the Quran and accpeted Haddiths.

15) The put their hope in salvation in the hands of Allah which they say is most mercifull.

16) They believe that Muslims who convert to Christianity or any other religion ought to be put to death.

Social -

1) Muslim men can have up to four wives. Mohammed had more than that but had special permission from Allah.

2) Muslims should dress modestly. Men with loose clothing which doesn't reveal body shape and women should cover their heads.

3) Muslims abstain from certain foods...such as wine and other drinks.

Other-

1) Haram is sin.

2) Fatwa is an opinion given by Muslim scholars. Fatwa's do not have to be followed. (as a side question, some Fatwa's are enforced by governments and punishable by death are they not? e.g. Men having beards in the Taliban regime?)

3) Haddiths are second only to the Quran in authority.

4) Haddiths were written by the people who lived in contact with Mohammed.

5) Mohammed died a physical death.

6) Jesus will come back some day. (what will he do when he returns?)

Anas b. Malik reported that Abu Bakr Siddiq reported him thus: I saw the feet of the polytheists very close to us as we were in the cave. I said: Allah's Messenger, if one amongst them were to see at his feet he would have surely seen us. Thereupon he said: Abu Bakr, what can befall twain who have Allah as the third One with them.   Facts about the Qur'an
Posted by: wel_mel_2 - 07-11-2006, 08:44 AM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (17)

Bismillah:

Muslims believe that <b>Prophet Muhammad is not the author of the Quran</b>. God is the author. The following points bear the fact:

1. The Quran itself, at a number of places and in different ways,<b> says it is from God</b>. One of the claim runs thus: "This is indeed a Quran most honourable, a Book well-guarded...a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds."
(56:77-80)

2. The Prophet <b>did not claim credit for the Quran</b>. Furthermore, the Quran claims: "This Quran is not such as can be produced by anyone other than God."
(10:37)

3. The Prophet was <b>illiterate</b>. <b>He was not a learned man or a philosopher</b>.

4. The Quran took <b>23 years to complete</b>. Had the verses of the Quran <b>(6,666 altogether)</b> been written by the Prophet, he would have needed editing, updating, etc. He did not have spell-check, thesaurus, etc. <b>Yet all the information in the Quran is consistent and without discrepancies</b>. The verses were taken down as dictate by the Prophet only once and no redrafting, editing or updating took place after that.

5. If the Prophet had written the Quran,<b> he would not have made the challenges that are in the Quran</b>, <b>for fear that the learned Arabs and eminent poets of his time would have taken up his challenges and shamed him</b>. "And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed (from time to time) to Our servant (Muhammad), then produce a chapter like thereunto..."
(2:23)

6. If the Prophet had written such an inimitable Book of Information and Wisdom without resorting to consultation with prominent scholars and the best books from the best libraries in the world?! If he did this, it would surely have been known, <b>since every move he made was known to people. The Prophet was a historical figure, not a mythological figure. </b>

7. The Prophet was <b>the busiest most active person in history</b>. So how could he have found the time to write <b>(even if he were educated)</b> <b>such a comprehensive and extensive Book of Guidance which would have needed years of seclusion and concentration to complete? </b>

8. In Chapter <b>111</b>, it is mentioned that <b>Abu Lahab</b>, one of the Prophet's uncles who was <b>always against Islam</b>, <b>would never accept Islam</b>. This Revelation came some <b>ten years before the death of Abu Lahab</b>. <b>How could the Prophet have dared to write this chapter because all he (Abu Lahab) needed to do to prove that Quran was not the words of God, was to accept Islam dishonestly?
</b>

9. The Prophet was mentioned <b>by name in the Quran only 5 times whereas Jesus Christ's name was (honourably) mentioned 25 times</b>. <b>Could the Prophet go to such an extent of honouring someone more than himself if he had written the Quran? </b>

10. There is a chapter in the Quran entitled and dedicated to <b>"Mary", the mother of Jesus Christ</b>, while <b>there is no chapter called, or dedicated to, the prophet's own mother, "Amina", or daughter, "Fatima", nor were their names mentioned in the Quran</b>. <b>Could this have happened if the Prophet was the Author of the Quran? </b>

11. Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, is glorified in the Quran as <b>"the choses lady above the women of all nations". </b> <b>Why would the Prophet glorify a woman he had never seen and one from another race, saying that she was chosen (by God) above all women, unless the formation of the verses had nothing to do with the Prophet's own authorship but that he only repeated what was inspired to him by God? </b>

12. In the Quran, God is called "Allah" and (in arabic) he is also referred to by his attributes, like the Cherisher, the Merciful, the Almighty. <b>There are 99 such attributes but none of these is "Abba" (father) by which the Arab Christians of the Prophet's time (and even today) refer to God</b>. <b>If the Prophet was the writer of the Quran, he would surely have used "Abba" as one of the names for God because of its familiarity and also because it was easier to say "Abba" than many of the attributes. </b>

i hope this would be useful for those who reflect. Ameen.

Salam

Wael.

The concept of God in Christianity

<b>The concept of God in Christianity</b>

By Dr.Zakir Naik

Before we discuss ‘the concept of God in Christianity’, I would like to make a few points clear. Islam is the only Non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (peace be upon him). No Muslim, is ‘a Muslim’ if he does not believe in Jesus (peace be upon him). We believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of Allah Subhana Wa Taalah - of Almighty God. We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe. We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission. We believe that he healed those born blind, and lepers with God’s permission. The Christians and Muslims, we are going together hand in hand, but there are parting of ways.

There are many Christians who say that ‘Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), he was Almighty God, he himself claimed Divinity’. Infact, if you read the Bible, there is not a single uneqvivocable statement in the whole Bible, where Jesus (peace be upon him) himself says, that ‘I am God’, or where he says ‘Worship me’. I would like to repeat that statement that there is not a single uneqvivocable statement in the complete Bible, where Jesus (peace be upon him) himself says that… ‘I am God’ or, where he says… ‘Worship me’. Infact if you read the Bible it is mentioned in the Gospel of John, Ch.No. 14, V.No.28, Jesus (peace be upon him) said – ‘My Father is greater than I’ In the Gospel of John, Ch. No.10, V.No. 29 ‘My father is greater than all’. In the Gospel of Mathew Ch.No.12 V.No.28 “I cast out devil with Sprit of God’. Gospel of Luke, Ch. No. 11 V.No.20 “I with the finger of God, cast out devils’. Gospel of John, Ch.No.5 V.No.30 ‘I can of my own self do nothing - as I hear I judge, and my judgement is just, because I seek not my will, but the will of thy Father, who has sent me’. He never claimed Divinity. Infact he came to testify the pervious law. And he mentions in the Gospel of Mathew Ch.5 V.17 to Verse No. 20, ‘Think not that I am come to destroy the law and the Prophets - I am come not to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till the heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall not pass away from the law, untill all be fulfilled. And whosoever therefore, shall break one of the least commandments and teach men to do so, will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whosoever shall keep them, and teach them so, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For verily, unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Scribes and the Pharasees, in no way shall you enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) said, ‘that If you people want to enter Heaven, you have to keep each and every commandment of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). You have to follow each and every law given in the Old Testament, including the verses I quoted earlier that ‘there is one God, and you should not do idol worship, you should not make any graven image of Him’. Jesus (peace be upon him), he never said that he was God. Infact he said ‘He was sent by God. He was a Prophet of God’. It is mentioned in the Gospel of John, Ch.No. 14, V.No.24, ‘The words that you hear, are not mine, but it is my Father’s, who has sent me’. Gospel of John, Ch.No. 17, V.No.3 ‘This is eternal life, so that you may know there is one true God, and Jesus Christ, who Thou has sent’. And it is mentioned in the Gospel of Mathew, Ch.No.19, V.No.16 and 17, that one of the persons approaches Jesus (pbuh), and says ‘Good Master, what good things shall I do, that I shall attain eternal life’. Jesus (peace be upon him) replies in V.No.17 of Gospel of Mathew, Ch.No.19 – ‘And Jesus said upto him, ‘Why thou callest me good? For there is none good, except One, that is God - And if you want to enter life, keep the commandments’. Jesus (peace be upon him) never said that if you want to go to heaven, you consider me as Almighty God. He never said that you believe that I will die for your sins – In fact he said, ‘You keep the commandments’. It is further mentioned in the book of Acts, Ch.No. 2 V.No.22 “O men of Israel, hear this, Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God, amongst you, by miracles, and wonders and signs, which God did by him, in your presence, and you were witness’. It says, ‘Jesus of Nazareth a man approved by God, by miracles and wonders, which God did by him’. And when Jesus (peace be upon him) was asked, that ‘which is the first of the commandments’? he repeated verbitem what was said earlier by Moses (peace be upon him). It is mentioned in the Gospel of Mark, Ch. No. 12, V.No. 29, he said ‘Shama Israelo, Ada Ilahaino Ada Ihad’ It is a Hebrew quotation which means, ‘Hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God, is in one lord’. So if you read the Bible, you will understand the concept of God, in Christianity.

It reminds me of an incident where Maulana Rahmatullah Karanvi - he was having a discussion with a Christian missionary, who was trying to prove to Maulana Shahib that ‘Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) is God Almighty, and that Jesus (peace be upon him) died for the sins of human beings’. After a great deal of time, without any results, the discussion was continued. Later on, the servant of Maulana Shahib, he comes and whispers something in the Maulana’s ears. The Maulana’s face becomes sad - he starts crying. The Christian missionary asks, ‘Maulana Shahib, ‘what is the bad news?’. The Maulana Shahib said in a very sad tone, ‘My servant, he just gave me information, - he brought news, that Arch Angel Gabriel - he died’. The Christian missionary began to laugh loudly. ‘Maulana Shahib, you being such an intelligent person, how can you believe in such absurd things - Can Angels die?’ The Maulana Shahib said, ‘When God can die, why can’t Angels die?’ And the Christian missionary, without speaking a single word, he left – It is a battle of wits.

  Why Islam?
Posted by: saima - 07-09-2006, 08:10 PM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (29)

<b>Why Islam?</b>

Many people have the misconception that Islam came into existence, and the founder of the religion of Islam was Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him), 1400 years ago. In fact Islam is there in existence since time immemorial - since man set foot on the earth. And the Holy Qur’an says in Surah Fatir, Chapter 35, Verse No.24…(Arabic)…‘There is not a nation or a tribe to whom We have not sent a warner’. The Holy Qur’an says in Surah Rad, Chapter No.13, Verse No.7…(Arabic)…. ‘And to every nation have We sent a guide’. By name only 25 are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an - But our Prophet Muhammed (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) - he said that there were more than 124 thousand messengers sent on the face of the earth. By name we know only 25, mentioned in the Holy Qur’an - Adam, Moses, Jesus, Solomon, Muhammed, (Peace be upon them all) - But there were more than one hundred and twenty four thousand messengers sent. Similarly by name we know only four Revelations of Allah Subhana Wa Taala, of Almighty God - the Torah, the Zabur, the Ingel and the Furqaan. The Torah is the ‘Wahee’, ‘the Revelation’ which was given to Moses (Peace be upon him), Zabur is the ‘Wahee’, ‘the Revelation’ which was given to David (peace be upon him), Ingel is the ‘Wahee’ ‘the Revelation’ which was given to Jesus (Peace be upon him), and Furqaan, that’s ‘the Holy Qur’an’ is the last and final revelation which was given to the last and final messenger, Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him). But if you analyze that all the other Scriptures, - whether are they the word of God or not - Bible, can I say it’s the word of God or not? We believe in the Ingel, the ‘Wahee’ which was given to Isa Alaysalam - This Bible that the Christians have today, is not the ‘Wahee’ which we believe in. This Bible does contain the word of God - It also contains the word of Prophet, and also words of historians, as well as pornography. It is totally not the word of God - No wonder the Christian scholars, they are keeping on revising the Bible. We believe in the original ‘Wahee’ given to Isa Alaysalam - But the present Bible is not the correct ‘Wahee’- It may contain part of the ‘Wahee’. How to check up, which part is true? - We have to check it with the ‘Furqaan’ - And the Furqaan is the Holy Qur’an. Simlilarly, if you analyze all the messengers that were sent before Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) - all the revelations that came before Holy Qur’an… all of these revelations and these messengers were only sent for their people and their message was supposed to be followed only for a particular limited time period. As the Holy Qur’an Says in Surah Al-Imran, Chapter No.3, V.49, that… ‘Isa Alysalaam – He was sent only for the Bani Israel’. The message is repeated in Surah Saff, Chapter No.61, Verse No.6… ‘that Isa Alysalam, the son of Mary was sent only for the Bani Israel… the children of Israel’. The same message is given in Bible in the Gospel of Mathew, Chapter No.10, Verse No.5 to 6, that Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him) tells his disciples that ‘go ye not into the way of the Gentiles’ Who are the Gentiles? The Non-Jews, the Hindus, the Muslims. ‘Go ye not into the way of the Gentiles, but rather go to lost sheep of the house of Israel’ - that means he was only sent for the house of Israel. Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him) said - It’s mentioned in the Gospel of Mathew, Chapter No.15 Verse No.24 that ‘I have not been sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel’. So all the messengers, and all the revelations - by name only four revelations are given in the Holy Qur’an.

But there were several revelations of Allah Subhana Wa Taala, like ‘Sugfe Ibrahim’ and various other Revelations. But all the revelations that came before the Holy Qur’an, and all the messengers that came before Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) - they were only sent for their people and for a particular time period. But our beloved Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him), the Holy Qur’an says in Surah Anbiya, Chapter 21, Verse No.107, it says… (Arabic)…. ‘That We have sent thee, not but as a mercy to the whole of humankind, as a mercy to all the worlds, as a mercy to all the creatures’. The Holy Qur’an says in Surah Saba, Chapter 34, Verse No.28 that …(Arabic)… That ‘We have sent thee not but as a universal messenger, giving glad tidings and warning them against sin - But most of the human kind yet do not know’. Similarly all the Religious scriptures that were sent by Allah Subhana Wa Taala, that came before the Qur’an, were only meant for that people, and for a particular time period. But the Holy Qur’an - it says in Surah Ibrahim, Chapter 14, Verse 52, as well as Surah Baqarah, Chapter 2 Verse 185, and Surah Al-Zumur, Chapter 39, Verse No.41, that it was sent for the whole of humanity

are these Scriptures - the Vedas, the Bible, the Zend Avesta, the Dasatir, the Upanishads - are they the word of Almighty God? What I can say – that we believe in ‘Injil’ as the word of God - But the present Bible is not the word of God. Regarding Veda, Upanishad, Geeta, Zend Avesta, Dasatir, I can say - may be they were the word of God - May be. I cannot say for sure, since the Qur’an does not say that Vedas is the word of God - I cannot say for sure. I can only say ‘may be’ they were word of God. But even if they were the word of God, all the Scriptures besides the Holy Qur’an, have been changed by human beings - they have been corrupted. As a famous critic of Islam, William Myore - He said 2 centuries before, that ‘the only Religious Scripture which has maintained its purity, is the Holy Qur’an for 12 centuries. <b>William Myore, who is a very strong critic of Islam - he had - to agree that this Qur’an has maintained its original purity for 12 centuries - He said this 200 years before.[/
b] So regarding the messengers, whether Ram…whether Ram whether Lakshman, all these, were they messengers of God or not? Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him) - he was - Because the Qur’an says. But the name of Ram and Buddha and Zorastras is not mentioned in the Qur’an - What I can say, ‘May be they were’ - I don’t know. But even if they were, they were only meant for that time, and they were only supposed to be followed by that particular people. The Scriptures that came before the Qur’an, they were only meant for a particular group of people, and they were only meant to be followed till that time. So even if they were words of God - Even if the previous messengers were messengers of God - you only have to follow the last and final messenger - that is Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him). Even if the other scriptures were the word of God, today you have to follow the last and final message of Allah Subhana Wa Taala, - that is the Holy Qur’an, and nothing else. Regarding - can you be a Christian, Hindu, Muslim, - is it the same? No it is not the same. Why – Because if you analyze the Holy Qur’an says in Surah Al Imran, Ch. 3 V. No. 52, that Jesus (Peace be upon him), he was a Muslim. Same thing, as the Bible says in Gospel of John, Ch. 5, V. No. 30…‘I seek not my will, but the will of my Father’.
</b> If you translate into Arabic, ‘Not my will…God’s will’… It is nothing but Islam – He was a Muslim. Abraham (Peace be upon him) - the Holy Qur’an says in Surah Al Imran, Ch.3, V. 67… ‘He was not a Jew or a Christian – He was a Muslim’. So today, if you have to choose any Religion – the Holy Qur’an says in Surah Al Imran, Ch. 3, V. 19…(Arabic)... ‘The only Religion acceptable in the sight of Allah (swt), is Islam’. Though the other religions speak about Monotheism – only Monotheism is not sufficient. You have to believe in Tawheed – You have to do ‘Ibada’ of Allah (swt). That is why the Holy Qur’an repeats the message in the Surah Al Imran Ch. 3, V.No.85, that… ‘If anyone desires any other religion besides Islam… submitting will to Allah (swt) – it will not be accepted of him. And in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers’.
