I have been poking through this section and just wanted to make a few general obsevations:

I've noticed that from time to time, certain websites are mentioned. While the internet can be a very useful educational tool, it should not be our [b:b28d8f697c]only[/b:b28d8f697c] tool.

Remember the internet is full of propoganda, and one must chose the sites they frequent wisely if they desire to learn anything.

Also, as mentioned many times before, we are here at this site to learn from each other, not to debate.

Your intentions make all the difference when asking a qusetion. If you are asking because you want to learn about something, that is great. If you are asking so that when the response is given you can quickly reject it without even considering the answer- well, maybe there are better ways to spend your time.

Q:Did Allah (SWT) create us through evolution?

i read a ayat somewhere in the Quran that says that Allah (SWT) created all life from water. Allah (SWT) said that he created Adam from "dust" or "clay" maybe Allah (SWT) was talking about the formation of the early solar system (the early solar system had a ton of dust accumulation). HE maybe have ment to say from scratch. Or maybe, the word "dust" or "clay" are distant terms meaning carbon (which all life has).

Q:Or did Allah (SWT) create man some where far away and then placed him in Heaven?

Then did the story of Adam and Hawa (1st man and women) place and mankind was placed on earth?

By the way, i do belive in the Big Bang Theory, because there are many scientific explanations for this arcanic phenominon. Cosmic Background Radiation, redshift galaxies are proportional to their distance from us, the expansion of the universe, etc. I also belive in it because it states so in the Quran.

Without any introductions, this is my story, and really guys I feel that am in need of some help. So I'm hoping to find it right here with you.

Am belongs to one of Asian countries so forgive me if my English is not so perfect.

I born in a catholic family... and since long time ago am religious man. But until now am missing something. And I feel that this thing is very important. Well I don’t know what is it till now. However, my father used to change his religion from time to time ( it seems funny but its true) he kept on going from catholic to protestant then to born again then to church of Christ then I don’t know now what religion he is following. Also during these changes of my father's religions he was offering me( each time ) NEW BIBLE and each time he was telling me THIE IS THE TRUTH, well I did not believe him simply because I discovered that there is another religion called islam and this religion the people are not worshiping Jesus but they respect him and they respect his teaching as well. So I just woke up this morning totally different and willing to know more and more about this religion.

Well I don’t wanna talk so much because I just came to you guys to ask you something... I have learned that Islam is the religion of ONE GOD AND ONE BOOK. And am asking you right now IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY FOR ME TO BE A MUSLIM??? I don’t care what am doing , and I don’t know if you will accept me or not. but this is my desire right now.

US Muslims have been angered by a state senator who distributed a flier which suggested suicide terrorist attacks might be deterred by burying attackers' bodies with pig entrails.

Guy Glodis, a Democrat in the Massachusetts state legislature, sent a flier to 39 colleagues recounting the execution of Muslim extremists in the Philippines by US Gen. John Pershing in 1913.

In the account, terrorists were executed with bullets dipped in pig's blood, "then buried with pig's blood, entrails, etc." a practice which, according to the leaflet, "instantly barred Muslims from paradise, dooming them to hell." The flier was published by the Boston Globe newspaper.

"Maybe," said the flier, "it is time for this segment of history to repeat itself, maybe in Iraq," implying that such acts might discourage potential suicide bombers.

Muslims are forbidden by their religion from eating pork or having any contact with pigs. Glodis told the Boston Globe of the leaflet: "I didn't write it. I just passed it along to my colleagues. I often share news items of interest with my colleagues."

But American Muslim groups were furious. One group called on the Massachusetts Senate to open an ethics investigation & censure Glodis. "We're outraged," said Raeed Tayeh of the American Muslim Association in North America (AMANA).

"If the senator believes that this is a solution to terrorism & believes such ridiculous notions then this is disturbing for an elected official to have such a belief & (be) spreading such beliefs," Tayeh said in a statement.

"This is… reckless behaviour because the story (about Pershing) is obviously not true," he said. "And it's also not true that if a Muslim comes into contact with a pig he would be denied heaven. This is ridiculous." Glodis told the Boston Globe the Pershing story was a matter of historical fact.

<span>السعادة شعور داخلي يحسه الإنسان بين جوانبه يتمثل في سكينة النفس ، وطمأنينة القلب ، وانشراح الصدر ، وراحة الضمير والبال نتيجة لاستقامة السلوك الظاهر والباطن – المدفوع بقوة الإيمان . </span>

<span>الشواهد على ذلك من الكتاب والسنة : </span>

<span>1/ قال الله تعالى : ((من عمل صالحا من ذكر أو أنثى وهو مؤمن فلنحيينه حياة طيبة)) </span>

<span>2 / وقال تعالى : ((فمن اتبع هداي فلا يضل ولا يشقي ومن أعرض عن ذكري فإن له معيشة ضنكا)) </span>

<span>3 / وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم </span><span> ليس الغنى عن كثرة المال ولكن الغني غني النفس ) </span>

<span>السعادة ليست في الماديات فقط : </span>

<span>إن السعادة في المنظور الإسلامي ليست قاصرة على الجانب المادي فقط ، وإن كانت الأسباب المادية من عناصر السعادة . ذلك أن الجانب المادي وسيلة وليس غاية في ذاته لذا كان التركيز في تحصيل السعادة على الجانب المعنوي كأثر مترتب على السلوك القويم . </span>

<span>وقد تناولت النصوص الشرعية ما يفيد ذلك ومنها : </span>

<span>أ/ قال الله تعالى: (( والأنعام خلقها لكم فيها دفء ومنافع ومنها تأكلون . ولكم فيها جمال حين تريحون وحين تسرحون )) </span>

<span>ب/ وقال الله تعالى : (( قل من حرم زينة الله التي أخرج لعباده والطيبات من الرزق قل هي للذين آمنوا في الحياة الدنيا خالصة يوم القيامة )) </span>

<span>ج/ وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ( من سعادة ابن آدم : المرأة الصالحة والمسكن الصالح والمركب الصالح ) </span>

<span>الإسلام يحقق السعادة الأبدية للإنسان : </span>

<span>لقد جاء الإسلام بنظام شامل فوضع للإنسان من القواعد والنظم ما يرتب له حياته الدنيوية والأخروية وبذلك ضمن للإنسان ما يحقق له جميع مصالحه الدنيوية والأخروية ، فقد جاء الإسلام للحفاظ على المصالح العليا والمتمثلة في الحفاظ على: النفس والعقل والمال والنسل والدين فالسعادة في المنظور الإسلامي تشمل مرحلتين : </span>

<span>1/ السعادة الدنيوية : فقد شرع الإسلام من الأحكام ووضح من الضوابط ما يكفل للإنسان سعادته الدنيوية في حياته الأولى, إلا أنه يؤكد بأن الحياة الدنيا ليست سوي سبيل إلى الآخرة،، وأن الحياة الحقيقية التي يجب أن يسعى لها الإنسان هي حياة الآخرة قال الله تعالى </span><span>(من عمل صالحا من ذكر أو أنثى وهو مؤمن فلنحيينه حياة طيبة)) وقال تعالى: ((وابتغ فيما آتاك الله الدار الآخرة ولا تنسى نصيبك من الدنيا)) وقال تعالى: (( فما متاع الحياة الدنيا في الآخرة إلا قليل)) </span>

<span>2/ السعادة الأخروية : وهذه هي السعادة الدائمة الخالدة ، وهي مرتبة على صلاح المرء في حياته الدنيا قال الله تعالى: (( الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة طيبين يقولون سلام عليكم ادخلوا الجنة بما كنتم تعملون )) وقال تعالى : (( للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الآخرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين)) </span>

<span>الحياة الدنيا ليست جنة في الأرض : </span>

<span>لقد حدد الإسلام وظيفة الإنسان في الأرض بأنه خليفة فيها يسعى لأعمارها وتحقيق خير البشرية ومصالحها التي ارتبطت بالأرض إلا أن هذا الاعمار وتحصيل المصالح تكتنفه كثير من الصعاب ويتطلب من الإنسان بذل الجهد وتحمل المشاق في سبيل ذلك كما أن الحياة ليست مذللة سهلة دائما كما يريدها الإنسان ويتمناها بل هي متقلبة من يسر إلى عسر ومن صحة إلى مرض ومن فقر إلى غنى أو عكس ذلك وهذه إبتلاءات دائمة يتمرس عليها الإنسان في معيشته فيحقق عن طريقها المعاني السامية التي أمر بها من الصبر وقوة الإرادة والعزم والتوكل والشجاعة والبذل وحسن الخلق وغير ذلك وهذه من أقوى أسباب الطمأنينة والسعادة والرضا قال الله تعالى : (( ولنبلونكم بشيء من الخوف والجوع ونقص من الأموال والأنفس والثمرات وبشر الصابرين الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون . أولئك عليهم صلوات من ربهم ورحمة وأولئك هم المهتدون )) وقال صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( عجبا لأمر المؤمن فإن أمره كله خير فإن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيرا له وإن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيرا له) [/size:bed1540975]</span>
