كم هو ديننا عظيم لو يفهمه الناس ويعرفونه على حقيقته ولا يحكمون عليه من تصرفات مسلمين يجهلون دينهم هذه قصة فتاة أوكرانيا دخلت في الإسلام بعدما كانت ترفض ذلك لما تراه من خلق المسلمين الفاسد. لا نقول إلا حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل هدى الله شباب وبنات أمتنا إلى الخير وأبعدهم عن الشر والفساد. وهذه هي القصة

إنها بداية عام دراسي جديد، الجامعة فتحت أبوابها تستقبل الطلاب الجدد...و كنت من بين هؤلاء، تقدّمت للدخول إلى قاعة المحاضرات؛ لحضور الدرس الأوّل...

جلست وجلست بجواري فتاة شابة وهبها الخالق البارىء من الجمال ما لا يدع الفرد يتجاهلها...

و في فترة مابين المحاضرات قدّمت لها نفسي و سألتها عن اسمها، فأجابت مع ابتسامة تدل على مدى رقّتها و لطفها في التعامل...تجاذبنا أطراف الحديث، دار حوارنا بخصوص الدراسة و الحياة و الهوايات...الخ و طغت على لهجتها لكنة أجنبية؛ لم تكن تتحدّث العربية، كان كلامها باللغة الفرنسية ولم تكن تتقنها وعلمت منها بعد ذلك أنها لم تكن تعيش في البلد العربي الذي نقيم و ندرس فيه و إنّما أتت من أرض بعييييدة غلبت عليها البرودة و غطّت الثلوج تلالها و جبالها، وربّما قلوب بعض سكّانها...إنّها من أوكرانيا.

مرّت الأيام وتوطّدت علاقتنا أكثر فأكثر و أصبحنا صديقتين...

علمت منها أنّها تدين بالمسيحية الأرثودوكسية واغتنمت الفرصة و عرضت عليها اعتناق الإسلام...لكن ذهبت كل جهودي في إقناعها سدى...

و السبب كان غريباً و مُحزناً في نفس الوقت...

إنّ ما أخبرتها به عن الإسلام لم يكن يمتُّ بأية صلة مع ما كانت تراه من المسلمين، ولو أنّها كانت في بلد أجنبي لكان ذلك أسهل؛ على الأقل كانت ستقارن هفوات الحياة الأجنبية مع سماحة و حضارة الإسلام و النتيجة ستكون بلا شك في صالح الحق و دين الحق...المُحزن أنّني كنت أحدّثها عن دين هي تعيش وسط من "يدينون" به؛ تراهم يصومون رمضان و منهم من يصلّي، يحتفلون بالأعياد (الفطر و الأضحى) ومولد الرّسول و... و...!

كلّمتها عن دين الصّدق و الأمانة و المحبّة وهي ترى و تسمع كذباً و غشّاً في الامتحانات وغيبة و نميمة...!!!

حدّثتها عن دين الأخلاقيات العالية و العفّة وهي ترى بنات وذكور يفعلون ما يشاءون وكم ممّن ادّعى الإسلام طلب منها الخروج و أن تأتي له بالـ"فودكا" مع أن الإسلام ينهى عن الخمر و الزنى...!!!

حدّثتها عن دين يحث على العمل و النشاط و الاجتهاد، و هي ترى كسلاً يعم المكان، و تخلّفاً يتناقض مع مفهوم هذا الدين...من جهة أخرى كانت ترى"الملتزمين" و"الملتزمات" أولئك من المؤسف؛ اعتزلوا الناس و المجتمع و لخّصوا الإسلام في زي وعبادات ونكران للغير وابتعاد عمّا يرونه خطأ، وانحلال وصاروا يتعاملون مع الباقي و كأن لديه مرض معدي بل وباء خطير يجب استئصاله أو الحجر عليه و الابتعاد كل البعد منه!! مع أن الإسلام دين النصح و الإرشاد و البذل و العطاء؛ كما قال الحبيب المصطفى صلّى الله عليه و سلّم: «الدّين المعاملة» و في حديث آخر:«الدّين النصيحة»... الإسلام و المسلمين...!!!!!!!

التّطرّفين؛ تطرّف الميوعة و البعد عن تعاليم الرّحمن و تطرّف من ظنّوا أنّهم على صواب بتلخيص الدين في عبادة إن صحّ القول "أنانية".

كان هذا عقدة الموضوع الكبرى؛ فمن وجهة نظرها ما دام الفرد يعتمد على مبدأ ما في حياته، فمن المفروض أن تظهر آثار مبدئه و عقيدته عليه...فإذا كان المبدأ سليماً كانت النتائج إيجابية، أمّا إذا كانت النتائج سلبية فالخطأ كل الخطأ في المنهج المتّبع، وكان عليّ أن أثبت العكس و أن أريها مدى خطئها في حكمها على أفضل ما حظت به البشرية: الإسلام!

في خضم الحياة و الدروس و الامتحانات..ابتعدنا قليلاً عن الموضوع، ثمّ قدّر علينا الافتراق.

بعد مرور سنتين أو ثلاث، شاء الله سبحانه و تعالى أن نلتقي من جديد...

مع اختلاف بسيط، لكنه جذري؛ كنت قد ارتديت الحجاب.! تفاجأت لرؤيتي كذلك، وراحت تسألني عن سبب قراري فاغتنمت الفرصة من جديد، و كلّي ثقة بأنّني سأكون أكثر إقناعاً مع كل ما عرفته عن ديني وكلّ ما أنعم به الله عليّ بعد تديّني...

تلك كانت أكثر اختلافاً من المرّات السابقة، كانت تصغي لي بانتباه و صمت، وكنت أتكلّم و أتكلّم...ثمّ انفجرت بالبكاء على حين غرّة! كانت تمرّ بفترة صعبة للغاية وكانت مشاكلها كثيرة والظاهر أن حديثي عن الله والدين والإيمان وأمن الإسلام كان قد حرّك فيها شيئاً ما ولكنّها أبت أن ترضخ لذلك و كأنّني كنت أحدّثها عن برّ أمان تجد نفسها في أمس الحاجة إليه لكن لا تعرف الوصول إليه، بل تخاف من اتخاذ الخطوة؛ فحيرتها زادت أكثر خاصة وأنّ سبب مشاكلها أناس قالوا بأنّهم مسلمون...!!!

وافترقنا من جديد...

وبعد هذا العام، بعد مضي بضعة سنين، التقينا و نحن ننهي دراستنا الجامعية. لكن هذا اللقاء كان حاسماً بالنسبة لي؛ هي ستناقش رسالة تخرّجها و ستتزوّج من مسلم وتغادر معه إلى الجنوب. لقائي هذا كان ربّما الأخير معها، ولن يدوم أكثر من ثلاث أسابيع...دعوت الله من كلّ قلبي أن يشرح صدرها للإسلام؛ فهي فتاة ذكيّة ولطيفة وتتميّز بصفات حميدة كثيرة، وتوكّلت على الحيّ القيّوم راجية منه التّوفيق. بينما كنت أخطّط لدعوتها من جديد؛ خطر لي أن أطلب العون من أحد الرّفاق في موقع طريق الإسلام، هو شاب تطوّع لدعوة الرّوس للإسلام، أخبرته بالإشكال الموجود عبر الإنترنت و طلبت منه النصيحة كونه أعلم منّي بأحوال القوم في تلك المناطق، ووضّحت له أنّ الوقت جدّ ضيّق وأنّني عازمة على النّجاح في مهمّتي هذه المرّة.

فاتّفقنا على بعض الخطوات نقوم بها، كانت أولاها إقناع الفتاة بعدم مقارنة الإسلام بما تراه من قبل بعض المسلمين و التأكيد على تعريفها بالإسلام الحقيقي المُجرّد من كل الشوائب، و في هذا الإطار اقترح عليّ بعض المواقع المختصة بالدّعوة باللغة الروسية، وكان عليّ إرسالها لها على بريدها الإلكتروني، إلاّ أنني التقيت بها قبل ذلك، كان لقاءً حارّاً فالفراق دام طويلاً و صداقتنا عبر كل تلك السنوات كانت قد اتسمت بالحميمية و الودّ. تجاذبنا أطراف الحديث ثمّ سألتها بكل صراحة: كيف أحوالك مع الإسلام...؟؟

فضحكَت وقالت لي: ألازلت تذكرين..؟؟ قلت: ولن أتراجع! تعالي نكمل ما علق بيننا..!

واتخذنا مكاناً جلسنا فيه وقلت لها دعينا نحلّ الإشكال هذه المرّة. تكلّمنا على وجود الله (وقد كانت في بعض لحظات ضعفها تنكر وجوده بحجّة أنّه لا يستجيب لدعواها حين تكون بحاجة إليه)، فاتفقنا على ذلك، وتحدّثت عن وجود الدّارين الأولى و الآخرة وعن مغزى وجود الإنسان و أنّه سيحاسب و أخبرتها عن الجنّة، ففاجأتني بردّها الغريب..!: أفضّل أن أذهب مع الرّوس الذين هم قومي إلى النار على أن أذهب إلى الجنّة مع هؤلاء!!!!

كان من الواضح أنّ الإشكال لا يزال قائماً...رددت بمثال طرحته عليها؛ إن العالم مليء بمن يسمّون أنفسهم "مسيحيين" و من المنطقي أن المسيحيين أناس يدينون بدين السيد المسيح و العذراء مريم..؟

ردّت؛ بنعم!..

فأكملتُ: لكن هل يُعقل بأن يكون شعب يدين بدين أعفّ و أطهر امرأة عرفتها البشرية، اصطفاها الله لطهرها و نقائها؛ بلا أخلاق ولا قيم ويظهر في مجتمعه كلّ ذلك الانحلال والآفات الاجتماعية و الخُلقية؟؟؟؟؟ وهل يجوز لنا أن نحكم على دين ومنهاج سماوي بالبطلان لمجرّد إخفاق وضلال أتباعه؟؟؟؟؟؟؟

كذلك بالنسبة للإسلام؛ الدين الذي اصطفاه عزّ و جلّ على باقي الأديان، لا يحق أن نحكم عليه من خلال أخطاء بعض أتباعه ومن لم يفقهوا معناه وقيمه السمحة لسبب من الأسباب. ثمّ تطرّقنا لعلاقة العبد بربّه وأنّ من أبسط الأمور أن يكون العبد شكوراً لنعم الله عليه، كونه سبحانه و تعالى خالق البشر المتفضل عليهم بكل شيء...

وركّزت في الحديث على علاقة الحب المتبادلة التي يجب أن تكون بين العبد وربّه وكيف أنّ الإنسان يجب عليه الثقة بمن خلقه و كرّمه...تحدّثنا عن فائدة الصّلاة وما تمثّله من صلة بين العبد وربّه وحاولت تقريب مفهوم تلك الصّلة بوصف شعور المسلم في صلاته و تضرّعه و دعائه و ذكره لله، وكيف أنّه سبحانه و تعالى يذكر من يذكره و يغفر له و ينعم عليه في الدّنيا و الآخرة...وكانت تصغي لكلّ ذلك، ثمّ سألتها إن فهمت مغزى ما أخبرتها به، فردّت أن نعم وأنّها أكثر اقتناعاً، فاغتنمت الفرصة و سألتها إن هي آمنت بوجود ووحدانية الله فأجابت بـ:نعم، وهل هي تؤمن بوجود الملائكة وتوالي الرسل وأن سيدنا محمّد رسول الله وآخر أنبيائه فردّت بـ:نعم، وهل آمنت بوجود اليوم الآخر والحساب فردّت بـ:نعم، فما كان منها إلاّ أن نطقت بالشهادتين وبالتالي اعتنقت الإسلام...

كم كانت سعادتي في أوجها حين سمعتها تردّد أنّها تشهد بأن لا إله إلاّ الله و أنّ مُحمّدا رسول الله...ياااااااه ! أخيراً..!!!

لكنّني خفت أكثر بعد ذلك؛ خفت أن تكون قد فعلت مجاملةً لي أو لتضع حدّاً للموضوع، خفت أن أفيق من تلك اللحظات وأجدها لا تزال على ما هي عليه...فانطلقت بعد تلك المقابلة أشتري لها كتيبات إسلامية بالفرنسية أهديتها لها ثم ذهبت إلى الإنترنت؛ بعثت لها بالمواقع الإسلامية الروسية التي أوصاني بها رفيق الدعوة إلى الله، ثمّ بعثت أبشّره بإسلامها...انتظرت ردها بفارغ الصبر ...حين ردت كدت أطير من الفرح.

لأن حماسها لمعرفة المزيد عن الإسلام و فرحها بالمواقع كان لا يوصف ...

حينها أدركت بأنها جادّة في إسلامها، و حمدت الله كثيراً...أخيراً أسلمت الأوكرانية...!!!

I got this idea of compiling hadeeth which gives us hopes by gaining rewards of huge deeds through simple actions.

In other words Allah's cheap alternatives. I hope that all members continue bringing similar hadeeth in order to make this a good reference for all of us:

Narrated Abi Horairah that poor people from the immigrants came to the Messenger and said people of Duthour (wealth) attained the high ranks and permenant luxury. The Messenger (PAPBUH) asked and what is that? They replied: they perform prayer just as we perform prayer, they fast just as we fast, they give out money for charity (sadaqah) and we do not, they free slaves and we do not. The Messenger (PAPBUH) said: shall I not teach you something through which you will catch up with those who passed you and be ahead of those who succeed you and no one shall be better than you except one who follows what you did? They said yes Messenger of Allah. He told them say Sobhan Allah, Alhamdulelah and Allahu Akbar 33 times each after each prayer. (reported by Muslim)

Narrated Anas Ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said: the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said one who prays Fajr in congregation, continued sitting making dhikr (remembrance of Allah) till sunrise, then performed two Raka`a shall gain the reward of performing Haj and Umra, the narrator continued that the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said complete, complete, complete. (reported by Termidhi)

Under the authority of Abi Horaira that the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said: "Shall I not tell you of with what Allah erases sins and elevates ranks, perform perfect wodu even under difficult circumstances (such as in case of cold whether or injured part of the body), increased number of steps towards masajed (mosques), and anticipating prayer after prayer, this is Rabat this is Rebat this is Rebat (Rebat is when one stands at the borders of the Muslim country protecting it against invasion)" (reported by Muslim)

Narrated under the authority of Abi A`ayash that the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said one who say in the morning La ilaha ila Allah wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul molk, walahu lhamd wa howa a`ala kol shaye-en qadeer, shall receive equal reward of freeing a slave of the children of ‏ Ismail, ten good deeds (hasanat) shall be recorded for him, ten sins shall be eliminated off him, shall be elevated ten ranks and shall be protected against shaytan till the evening. If he say this in the evening shall receive the same till the morning. A man saw the Messenger of Allah in a vision (while sleeping) and told him that Abi A`ayash is quoting you say so and so, he said Abu A`ayash said the truth. (reported by Ahmed)

Narrated Jaber Ibn Abdullah Al Ansary saying I heard the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) say: One who fasts Ramadan and six days of Shawal, is considered as if he fasted the whole year (reported by Ahmed)

<b>Definition of Shirk
</b>

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

‘Shirk’ or associating another in God-head with Allah
, has three main parts:

1. Shirk in Allah’s person

2. Shirk in Allah’s Attributes

3. Shirk in Allah’s Rights

<b>Shirk in Allah’s person: </b>

This would be if one were to claim that Allah has a son, or has a mother, father, brothers, sisters, family, children; or to claim that someone or something originated Allah! This is committing ‘shirk’ in Allah’s person.

<b>Shirk in Allah’s Attributes:</b>

Allah has declared 99 of His attributes in the Glorious Quran, and Allah Alone knows how many more there are. For example, Allah is the ‘Al Aleem’ (The All Knowing). He Alone is the All Knowing, of the seen and the unseen! If we believe anybody else of His creation knows everything, or even has the power to know everything, then we have wrongfully elevated someone to the position of Allah’s Attributes, and this is a clear form of shirk.

Similarly, Allah is the ‘As Samee’ (The All Hearing). He Alone is the All Hearing… We humans can only hear upto certain decibels; below that limit we cannot hear, and above that limit is unbearable! Allah Alone hears everything… If we believe anybody else of His creation hears everything, or even has the power to hear everything, then we have wrongfully elevated someone to the position of Allah’s Attributes, and this is again shirk.

Similarly, Allah is the ‘Al Qader’ (The One who is Able to do all things). He Alone has the Power to do anything and everything! If we believe that anybody of His creation can do whatever they want, even when Allah does not permit him, this is shirk! Everything that happens in this world, needs Allah’s permission… only when He permits, can a thing happen. To believe that somebody can hurt us, or harm us, without the permission of Allah, is a clear form of Shirk.

<b>Shirk in Allah’s Rights:</b>

The biggest Right of Allah is that being our Creator and our Sustainer, He Alone deserves our invocation and our worship. This is absolutely the biggest Right of Allah. No one deserves that we bow down to him and pray to him or call on him to answer our prayers … This is the Sole Right of Allah Alone. If anyone goes to anybody, any person, any idol, any grave, any shrine, anything… and asks them to fulfill our prayers, or even to tell them to take our Message to Allah, this is an absolute form of Shirk! Allah Alone deserves that we pray to Him, call on Him, serve Him, sacrifice for Him, fear Him, obey His laws, follow His appointed Messengers, and obey and follow the commandments of His Revealed Book! If we do any of the above for anybody else other than Allah, then it is Shirk.

Bowing in prostration to the grave of the Prophet (saws), is to share a right that is due to Allah Subhanah Alone with someone else, no matter who that person or thing is! The Jews shared Allah’s Rights with Moses and Uzair, and were cursed by Allah; the Christians shared Allah’s Rights with Jesus, and were cursed by Allah! May Allah have mercy on the people who call themselves believers, but want to share the Right of Allah with their Prophet (saws)!

‘Shirk’ is the absolute single biggest sin in Islam, which Allah has Himself promised in the Holy Quran never to forgive! This sin is so heinous and so monstrous, that Allah has promised to forgive any of the sins of man, except this one sin!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 72: Whoever commits ‘shirk’ (invoking anything with Allah), Allah shall forbid for him Paradise, and Hell shall be his abode. And for such wrong doers there will be no one to help.

Allah says in the Quran: Chapter 4 Surah An-Nisa Verse 48: Shirk (associating other deities with Allah) is the only sin that Allah does not forgive, and He forgives, whomsoever He pleases, sins other than this. For whosoever associates any other partner with Allah, does indeed forge a big lie and commits the most heinous sin

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 65-66: If you commit ‘shirk’ all your works will be rendered vain and you will be among the losers. Therefore, you should worship Allah Alone, and be among His grateful servants.

All the Prophets of Allah who were ever sent warned the believers to beware of this heinous sin of ‘shirk’, which renders all the deeds of man worthless in the sight of Allah Subhanah.

Thus it becomes our duty to recognize and be aware of ‘shirk’ and all the manifestations of this horrendous and grave sin. Allow me to just give you an example of what constitutes ‘shirk’:

[/b]1. Bowing down to anybody or anything other than Allah is shirk.

2. Bowing down to the Syedna is shirk.

3. Bowing down to the graves of his ancestors is shirk.

4. Bowing down to the graves of even the Prophet (saws), Hadrat Ali (saws), Hadrat Fatema (saws), etc. is shirk.

5. Believing that the dead people in their graves can hear and answer our duas is shirk.

6. Believing that anybody other than Allah can do us any harm is shirk.

7. Believing that anybody other than Allah can bring us some good is shirk.

8. Believing that anybody other than Allah knows everything is shirk.

9. Believing that anybody other than Allah sees everything is shirk.

10. Believing that anybody other than Allah listens to our prayers is shirk.

11. Believing that anybody other than Allah can help us is shirk.

12. Believing that anybody other than Allah can guide us is shirk.

13. Believing that anybody can influence Allah to give us health is shirk.

14. Believing that anybody can influence Allah to give us wealth is shirk.

15. Believing that anybody can influence Allah to give us children is shirk.

16. Believing that anybody can influence Allah to help us is shirk.

17. Believing that anybody has any power with Allah is shirk.

18. Believing that anybody has any power with Allah to take us out of the fire of Hell is shirk.

19. Believing that anybody has any power with Allah on the Day of Judgement is shirk.

20. Believing that anybody has any power to change the decision of Allah is shirk.

21. To worship anybody with Allah is shirk.

22. To invoke anybody with Allah is shirk.

23. To raise anybody to the rank of Allah is shirk.

24. To give any of Allah’s attributes to anybody else is shirk.

25. To believe that anybody has the power to bring about any miracles on his own is shirk.

26. To go to somebody to take our message or supplication to Allah is shirk.[/b]

To associate other beings or things with Allah is ‘shirk’! To share any of the noble Attributes of Allah with anyone is ‘shirk’! To invoke or worship anyone or anything with Allah is ‘shirk’!

The Glorious Quran is the Book which absolutely details each and every manifestation of shirk and makes the readers aware of what exactly is this most hated of crimes in the sight of Allah. It also details on how one has to avoid all the acts of shirk, and believe and invoke and worship the Lord of the Worlds, Allah Subhanah Alone.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Alsalam 'ala man itaba'a al huda

Today my hindu maid pronounced the shahada at the ministry of justice Kuwait, alhamdulilah, this was a gift from Allah Almighty to me. When I first had the maid a year and a half ago she said she was a christian, but then she turned to be a hindu One night I saw a vision and I asked the scholar about it , so he said u have a maid I said yes, he told me to talk to her about Islam and he said dont worry she is good in heart and she will revert. When I told her about it, she said yes I would like to learn, so I took her to IPC, the Islamic presentaion committee in Kuwait, where they taught her there all about Islam and she was convinced Alhamdulilah, and today she is officially a muslim, she was not wearing the hijab at first, but then I told her that u must wear it as a muslim, and she was convinced alhamdulilah. I give praise to Allah Almighty who gave me this precious gift, HE is ONE , He is The Great, Most Gracious Most Mercifull, if it was not for him we would not be what we are now, i thank God I am a muslim, and I pray to Allah Almighty that all those who are seeking the truth on this forum to see the light and recognize the truth that there is no God but Allah, he begets not,nor was he begotten, and there is none co-equal or comparable unto him.

And I wonder how highly educated people are not able to c the truth, and still have doubts, while a humbly educated made is convinced of God's onnes from her own will. :confused:

<b> Why carry out punishments in public
</b>

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

<b> Q-1: Is punishment under sharriah supposed to be exactly as it is stated in the Quran?
</b>

If one sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, they must decide and judge everything according to the guidance of the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 44 (part) :

(Those who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the disbelievers!)

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 45 (part): (Those who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the wrong-doers!)

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 47 (part): (Those who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the transgressors!)

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 36:

(It does not behove a believing man and a believing woman that when Allah and His Messenger have given their decision in a matter, they should exercise an option in that matter of theirs. For whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, has indeed strayed into manifest error.)

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 38:

(As for the thief; whether man or woman, cut off the hand of either of them. It is the recompense of what they have earned, and an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.)

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 24 Surah Noor verse 2:

(The woman and the man guilty of fornication, flog each of them with a hundred stripes; and let not pity for them restrain you in regard to a matter prescribed by Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a section of the believers witness the unishment inflicted on them!)

To implement any law and command of Allah; a believer, who truly believes in Allah and the Last Day, must find study and follow, how the Messenger of Allah (saws) understood and implemented the command of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (saws) commanded that the thief’s hand be cut off in public, and the punishment of flogging for the crime of fornication be carried out in public, and the punishment and method of execution for the crime of adultery also be carried out in a public place; where a section of the believers may witness the punishment that a true Islamic society inflicts on those who commit crimes against society and Allah!

There is no harm, and in fact it would be advisable, that a qualified medical doctor be available to cut the hand of the convicted thief; in the hospital, or in a public square, or in a stadium, etc.; but it must be done in public, where a section of the believers witness the punishment inflicted upon the thief.

Allah and His Messenger (saws) have prescribed that stoning to death in public, be the method of execution for the crime of adultery; thus no one has a right to change or alter any judgment decreed by Allah and His Messenger (saws).

A believer may search and study the wisdom, behind each command and law of Allah and His Messenger (saws); so that his heart may be content and he may be able to follow the command of Allah and His Messenger with more conviction. It is the belief of every believer, who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, that each and every command of Allah is based on His Absolute Wisdom and Knowledge; and Allah Subhanah is High and Far Exalted from ever making an error.

The punishment that Allah and His Messenger (saws) prescribe for the sins and crimes one commits in Shariah; is indicative of the displeasure of Allah Subhanah of that crime! The bigger the crime, the bigger the punishment! And in the sight of Allah Subhanah, theft is a crime worthy of cutting the hand of the thief; and adultery is a crime worthy of stoning the criminals to death! That is how displeasing and abominable are these crimes in the sight of Allah Subhanah.

<b>The question most asked today regarding the implementation of this Divine Law is, why in public? And why so severe?
</b>

The society that Allah and His Messenger (saws) want for the believers, requires a particular amount of law, order, honor, sanctity of person and property, peace, and security. The person who, in his full senses, violates these basic principles and rights of humanity, and takes it upon himself to illegally and dishonestly take away from other what does not rightfully belong to him; must know and fear that society will exact a severe, stern, and debasing punishment from him. And the reason it is done in public is so that anyone else, who might be even thinking of violating these sacred rights of humanity; must know and fear the consequences he will have to pay for his crime!

The average person is normally a good, law abiding citizen; who works hard to provide for himself and his family. But some unscrupulous people, who don’t want to live honestly, or earn their living lawfully, want to take away the right of the good citizen by dishonest means! And the fallacy of this modern-ignorant-educated social system is that the society makes laws to help and encourage these unscrupulous, dishonest, and corrupt criminals, at the expense of the honor, peace and security of the decent law-abiding citizen! Only if the punishment for the crimes against humanity are strict and severe, and only if the criminals know the severity of the punishment society will exact from them, and only if they fear the punishment; will the law-abiding, decent, and hard-working citizens be able to live a life of honor, peace, and security!

If we look around the world that we live in today; the normal, decent, honest citizen lives his life in fear for his honor, property, and life! And the criminals have available every tool at their disposal, knowing all too well, what are the consequences if they are caught for their crime. Every government and every law-maker tries to use his wisdom and his capacity to make laws that will help the law-abiding citizens to live a better life; and deter the criminals from committing crimes! Has it worked? Has the crime rate gone down in the world? Has theft reduced? Has fornication and adultery reduced?

When a law-maker of this world decrees that a thief should spend six months in jail, did we ever ask him why six months? Or why three months, or why one year? The law-maker of this world himself is of limited wisdom and knowledge, and will keep on trying his trial-and-error method, until he gets it right! And he will never get it right, till he reaches the decision or judgment that Allah and His Messenger have applied for the crime!

The humane and humble punishments prescribed by man today are worth taking the risk for the criminals; but if the All Wise, All Knowing, Allah’s Laws are applied, would it be worth the risk for the criminals?

We never challenge the laws or regulations made by man; but some of us always challenge each and every law and regulation made by the All Wise, All Knowing, Lord of the worlds!

أحضرت له أمه كتباً عن كل الأديان وبعد قراءة متفحصة, قرر أن يكون مسلماً قبل أن يلتقي بمسلم واحد.

يقول الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم:" كل مولود يولد على الفطرة, فأبواه يهودانه أو ينصرانه أو يمجسانه". وقصة اليوم ما هي إلا مصداق لهذا الحديث الشريف. فقد ولد ألكساندر فرتز لأبوين مسيحيين في عام 1990م. وقررت أمه منذ البداية أن تتركه ليختار دينه بعيداً عن أي تأثيرات عائلية أو اجتماعية. وما أن تعلم القراءة والكتابة حتى أحضرت له كتباً عن كل الأديان السماوية و غير السماوية. وبعد قراءة متفحصة, قرر ألكساندر أن يكون مسلماً! وقد شغف حباً بهذا الدين لدرجة أنه تعلم الصلاة, وتعرف على كثير من الأحكام الشرعية, وقرأ التاريخ الإسلامي, وتعلم الكثير من الكلمات العربية, وحفظ بعض السور, وتعلم الأذان.

"ابتدأني هو بالسؤال هل أنت حافظ؟" قالها بالعربية! - قلت له لا, وأحسست بخيبة أمله.

تابع يقول "ولكنك مسلم وتعرف العربية أليس كذلك"؟. وأمطرني بأسئلة عديدة "هل حججت؟" "هل قمت بأداء العمرة؟" "كيف تحصل على ملابس الإحرام؟"هل هي مكلفة؟" هل بإمكاني شراؤها هنا أم يبيعونها في السعودية فقط؟".

ما هي الصعوبات التي تعاني منها كونك مسلماً في جو غير إسلامي؟". - لقد توقعت أن يذكر أشياء تتعلق بزملائه أو مدرسيه, أشياء تتعلق بأكله أو شربه، أو بالطاقية البيضاء التي يرتديها، أشياء تتعلق بالغترة التي يلفها على رأسه على الطريقة اليمنية, أو بوقوفه مؤذناً في الحديقة العامة قبل أن يصلي, ولكن جوابه كان غير متوقع وكان هادئاً وممزوجاً بالحسرة "تفوتني بعض الصلوات في بعض الأحيان بسبب عدم معرفتي بالأوقات

ما هو الشيء الذي جذبك للإسلام؟ لماذا اخترت الإسلام دون غيره؟

-سكت لحظة ثم أجاب "لا أدري, كل ما أعرفه أنني قرأت عنه وكلما زادت قراءتي أحببته أكثر".

هل صمت رمضان؟. - ابتسم وقال نعم لقد صمت رمضان الماضي كاملاً والحمد لله, وهي المرة الأولى التي أصوم فيها, لقد كان صعباً وخاصة في الأيام الأولى". ثم أردف "لقد تحداني والدي أنني لن أستطيع الصيام, ولكني صمت ولم يصدق ذلك".

ما هي أمنيتك؟. - فأجاب بسرعة "عندي العديد من الأمنيات, أتمنى أن أذهب إلى مكة المكرمة وأقبل الحجر الأسود" ..

"لقد لاحظت اهتمامك الكبير بالحج, هل هناك سبب لذلك؟". _ تدخلت أمه و لأول مرة لتقول "إن صور الكعبة تملأ غرفته, بعض الناس يظن أن ما يمر به الآن هو نوع من الخيال, نوع من المغامرة التي ستنتهي يوماً ما, ولكنهم لا يعرفون أنه ليس جاداً فقط, بل إن إيمانه عميق لدرجة لا يحسها الآخرون. علت الابتسامة وجه محمد عبد الله و هو يرى أمه تدافع عنه, ثم أخذ يشرح لها الطواف حول الكعبة وكيف أن الحج هو مظهر من مظاهر التساوي بين الناس كما خلقهم ربهم بغض النظر عن اللون والجنس والغنى والفقر. ثم استطرد قائلاً: إنني أحاول جمع ما يتبقى من مصروفي الأسبوعي لكي أتمكن من الذهاب إلى مكة المكرمة يوما ما, لقد سمعت أن الرحلة ستكلف قريباً من 4 آلاف دولار, ولدي الآن 300 دولار"..علقت أمه قائلة في محاولة لنفي أي تقصير من طرفها :ليس عندي أي مانع من ذهابه إلى مكة ولكن ليس لدينا المال الكافي لإرساله في الوقت الحالي.

ما هي أمنياتك الأخرى؟. - أتمنى أن تعود فلسطين للمسلمين, فهذه أرضهم وقد اغتصبها الإسرائيليون منهم. نظرت إليه أمه مستغربة فأردف موحياً أن هناك نقاشاً سابقاً بينه وبين أمه حول هذا الموضوع: أمي, أنت لم تقرئي التاريخ, إقرئي التاريخ, لقد تم اغتصاب فلسطين.

و هل لديك أمنيات أخرى؟. أمنيتي أن أتعلم اللغة العربية و أحفظ القرآن الكريم.

ماذا تريد أن تصبح في المستقبل؟. - أريد أن أصبح مصوراً لأنقل الصورة الصحيحة عن المسلمين. لقد شاهدت الكثير من الأفلام التي تشوه صورة المسلمين, كما شاهدت العديد من الأفلام الجيدة عن الإسلام والتي أصدرها أشخاص أعتبرهم مثلي الأعلى وقد اعتنقوا الإسلام في الستينيات. وسأقوم بدراسة الإسلام في جامعة أكسفورد, لقد قرأت أن لديهم برنامجاً جيداً في الدراسات الإسلامية.

هل تود أن تدرس في العالم الإسلامي؟. فأجاب بالتأكيد, خاصة في الأزهر. تدخلت أمه لتقول "هل شاهدتم فيلم الملوك الثلاثة؟" إنه فيلم عن حرب الخليج, إنه فيلم رائع. و هنا أعرب محمد عن امتعاضه قائلاً " إنه فيلم سيئ, لم أحبه على الإطلاق" و هنا أردفت أمه قائلة : إنه لا يحبه لأن الجنود الأمريكيين قاموا بقتل بعض المسلمين بدون سبب, ولكنه فيلم جيد بشكل عام!.

هل تجد صعوبة في مجال الأكل؟ و كيف تتفادى لحم الخنزير؟. "الخنزير حيوان وسخ جداً, أنا استغرب كيف يأكلون لحمه, أهلي يعلمون أني لا آكل لحم الخنزير لذلك لا يقدمونه لي, وإذا ذهبنا إلى مطعم فإنني أخبرهم أني لا آكل لحم الخنزير.

هل تصلي في المدرسة؟. نعم, وقد اكتشفت مكاناً سرياً في المكتبة أصلي فيه كل يوم. وحان وقت صلاة المغرب, فنظر إلى قائلاً: هل تسمح لي بالأذان؟، ثم قام وأذّن في الوقت الذي اغرورقت فيه عيناي بالدموع!

Can someone explain what he said in his book, satanic verses, to illicite such a response from the muslim world? I have been told that unless you understand islam, you cannnot fully understand why it is so offensive. Can someone clue me in? a link even would be helpful
