HAMAS IN ELECTIONS – THE KUFFAR’S TRAP

Palestine 14/3/2005
Khalid Saffarini
The decision by Hamas to take part in the July Palestinian elections is a catastrophic mistake. Such an action will place those who are sincere from the Islamic Ummah within Hamas, under the umbrella of an American ‘Palestinian’ coalition government and hence her rules, regulations and boundaries. This in turn will lead to the acceptance of a kufr Palestinian State as well as the bastard state of ‘Israel’. With terminology such as the ‘occupied territories’ being coined by the U.S. and her agents, a Jewish withdrawal to the 1967 borders instead of 1948 would indirectly give acceptance to what Allah SWT has forbidden i.e. the existence of ‘Israel’. Furthermore this announcement will be a great victory for the U.S. as it shall give greater control to their darling Abbas as Hamas will have to eventually work under his auspices. In fact already Abbas has jubilantly stated, “This is a positive step that contributes to the participation of all Palestinians in Political Life”.
It is evident that the U.S. wish Hamas to be part of a new Palestinian government in order to act as the ‘extremist’ element to keep ‘Israel’ in check should it wish to try again to go against American wishes. In addition the Hamas involvement will also justify the U.S. calls for the Kufr of pluralism and democracy. Stated Saeb Erekat, “All the Palestinian parties are invited and encouraged to participate in these elections and to choose the path of democracy rather than any other path."
While the local elections were an indication of Hamas’ possible changes in attitude, former Hamas leader Imad al-Fallouji’s statement was more straightforward as he said this was a "sign of a serious change in Hamas' ideology and shows the movement is aware a new chapter of political life is beginning." Does that change mean the acceptance of the unacceptable??!
Later this week, leaders of Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups will meet in Cairo for what the U.S. and Abbas hope will be a joint cease-fire declaration and working out of a possible political partnership in the PLO based on results in July’s election. We remind our brothers from Hamas of Allah SWT’s words: “And believe in what I reveal overruling the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject, nor sell my Ayaat for a small price, and Fear Me And Me alone / And cover not the Truth with Falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when you know it…” T.M.Q. 2: 41-42
As for Hamas spokesman Moushir al-Masri, he has stated, "Hamas will not be transformed into a political party. It will remain a resistance movement until the goals of the people are achieved."
Inshallah we trust that when Moushir al-Masri referred to “the goals of the people”, he meant the rejection of a Kufr Palestinian State, the destruction of Israel and the establishment of the only acceptable solution - an Islamic State.

Contact "60 Minutes" to Demand Muslim Response
to Distortions of Islam
(Los Angeles, 3/15/05) -- On Sunday, March 13, CBS' "60 Minutes" aired a segment examining the controversy over Muslim immigration in the Netherlands sparked by the August 2004 murder of filmmaker Theo Van Gogh. Van Gogh was brutally murdered by a Muslim who found the film "Submission" blasphemous in its portrayal of Islam.
The segment, which focuses on the resulting backlash directed toward Dutch Muslims, features an interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somalian born writer of "Submission" and a member of Dutch Parliament. MPAC is appalled by the gross distortion of Quranic teachings featured in the "60 Minutes" segment, as well as the producers' failure to include a mainstream Muslim voice refuting Ms. Ali's false allegations against the Quran and Islam. MPAC calls on the producers of "60 Minutes" to provide equal airtime to alternative Muslim voices to respond to the false and malicious characterizations of Islam made by Ms. Ali and other interviewees.
SEE: "Slaughter and 'Submission'" (transcript from CBS' "60 Minutes")
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/03/11/...ain679609.shtml
In the segment, Ms. Ali states that the Quran is a "license for oppression" which says "you should be raped if you say 'no' to your husband." In the past, she has also called Prophet Muhammad a "perverted pedophile" who has "said a few things that not compatible with democracy." Her film, "Submission," portrays a Muslim woman who claims that God condones rape, oppression and violence towards women -- all of which are unequivocally condemned by the Quran.
"By leaving Ms. Ali's opinions unchallenged, 60 Minutes reinforces the stereotype that Muslims are a violent and misogynistic foreign entity in Western societies," said Communications Director Edina Lekovic. "This is not only an insult to Muslims, but a disservice to the cause of promoting awareness and acceptance of a religion and a people."
In their failure to include a Muslim response to derogatory comments made by Ms. Ali and Dutch officials, the producers of "60 Minutes" do not fulfill the basic journalistic standard of balance. Further, Correspondent Morley Safer fails to distinguish between the founding principles of Islam as a religion and social movement and the practices of Muslims, implicitly justifying the position of one Dutch sociologist quoted.
"Your holy book will be the object of criticism," says Paul Scheffer, a professor of sociology at the University of Amsterdam. "It will be the object of interpretation, and sometimes of ridicule. And if you can't accept that, then you can't live here."
We call on American Muslims to contact the producers of "60 Minutes" to let them know:
1. We as an American Muslim community insist on the human right of self-definition, which includes our narrative voice in discourse on our text or our religion.
2. We as American Muslims believe that it is a grave danger to our country in a post-9/11 world that mass media negligently and or intentionally infuse American public opinion with hatemongering and Islamophobic propaganda.
3. We as American Muslims believe that there is neither dissonance nor friction between the founding principles of God's message to humanity and co-existence among peoples in countries of pluralism.
4. We as American Muslims demand that the "60 Minutes" provide ample opportunity for a legitimate reasonable musim voice to counter the damage done by the "Slaughter and 'Submission'" segment.

Going on a Field-Trip with My Class |

Asalamalaikum
As part of my "Marketing group tours" class our class has to go on a 2 weeks trip to the north-Island. I don't want to go on the trip becuase I don't want to be in an non-muslim atmosphere for 2 weeks. We'll be staying at a hotel & and we get to some of the greatest sightseeings of the northIsland. My teacher has been telling me that its very important that I go.
so here is my question:
Can a Muslimah travel without a mahram for 2 weeks?
another thing that I just found out is for me to fully gain 100% competency= a pass in this class. There is a huge assignment (I can do that in my own time) and an "educational-Report assessment" which is part of the field-trip.
If I dont go on that field-trip there is no way I can do the "educational report" and that is part of the criteria that I need to meet for my major.
InshaAllah all nasseeha is welcomed

Bismillah
Assalamu aleikum,
I found in a on line Swedish newspaper an article that tells that libraries in Danmark have begun to hire out Muslims per hour like you can hire books per week. Sounds crazy?
The idea is that you can go to the library and hire a Muslim and then go to a cafe and over a cup of coffee discuss Islam. Raise question and answer questions.
In the name of creating bigger understanding to me it sounds great. Many people that live in countries where there are many different people and religions never have the possibility to come together and that brings up a lot of racism and intolerans, which is not uncommon, at least not in the northern countries.
So I hope Sweden and the rest of the northern countries will follow soon, it is well needed!

Quran being a detailed book or not |

Bismillah
Praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohamed, his household and companions.
With all due respect to my dear sister Radiyah whom I highly regard and respect for I learnt much from her, but the expression which she used more than once on the Quran stating that:" <b>So is the purifiying here mentioned how it should be, of course not, imagine if everything is mentioned in full detail in The Quran, how big will it be, and can we carry it or read it or memorize it, of course not", </b>
might be misunderstood by non Muslims, new Muslims or even raised Muslims.
It could give the impression that Quran missed few details, facts, instructions or better to say was incomplete, although I am aware that she stressed in her post saying:" So what I am trying to say, that many say that there are things not mentioned in The Quran, everything is mentioned in The Quran, nothing is left".
Just for more explanation and benefit of all.
In fact Allah Did not leave out anything from Quran. It is a comprehensive book applicable throughout times and eras.
I remember reading about a modern scholar (don’t exactly remember his name) who was challenged while visiting Paris, that people told him u say Quran contains everything, tell us how many pounds of flour is needed to make a certain number of pieces of bread they mentioned that I don’t remember now. He called the baker and asked him, he gave him the answer which he gave back to them. They rejected it saying that it is not from Quran. But he said no it is from the Quran as Allah Say:
“So ask of those who know the Scripture [learned men of the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], if you know not.
.” (Quran 16:43) The Ayah can be also translated as ask those who possess the specialized knowledge when u don’t know. By this Ayah Allah actually sat a rule which the scholar applied.
Back to the main point, when Allah Puts the following Ayahs in Quran:
“O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad ﻢﻠﺳﻭ ﻪﻴﻠﻋ ﻪﻠﻟﺍ ﻰﻠﺻ), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (ﻢﻠﺳﻭ ﻪﻴﻠﻋ ﻪﻠﻟﺍ ﻰﻠﺻ), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination..” (Quran 4:59)
In this amazing legislative book Allah Didn’t overlook the tiniest detail of our life, even the intimate relation between married couples Allah Explained in a very eloquent style full of shyness including when, how etc as in:
“They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have purified (from menses and have taken a bath). And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.).
.* Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allah to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your ownselves. And fear Allah, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad ﻢﻠﺳﻭ ﻪﻴﻠﻋ ﻪﻠﻟﺍ ﻰﻠﺻ).” (Quran 2: 222-223) (which is actually the same Ayahs Radiyah quoted for the Taharah issue)
these two amazing Ayas actually sums up the regulations of an intercourse in full detail including even encouragement for men on how to do it taking their wives feelings in consideration. This example proves that Allah Didn’t overlook details.
But we may say that because Allah made the following rule in Quran in many positions:
“O ye who believe obey Allah, and obey the apostle, and those charged with authority among you. if ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and his apostle, if ye do believe in Allah and the last day: that is best, and most suitable for final determination.” (Quran 4:59)
“Say: Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Apostle's duty is only to preach the clear (Message).” (Quran 24:54)
“O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle, and make not vain your deeds!” (Quran 47:33)
And He also Say:
“But those who disobey Allah and his apostle and transgress his limits will be admitted to a fire, to abide therein: and they shall have a humiliating punishment.” (Quran 4: 14)
“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.” (Quran 33:36)
To be more precise, the Ayah say when Allah and His Apostle makes a Judgment on a matter. Actually by virtue of this Ayah Allah Gave the legislation and Judgment authority to the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam.
Ok having said that, we can explain that it is not that Allah Was unable to include in His final book all of that, no it is so easy for Allah. He Has means, ways and styles to Express what is needed.
With a simple look to the Ayahs’ of inheritance included in (Quran 4:10-12), one can understand that. Just in few words Allah Sat rules of inheritance covering several options as well.
To conclude, Allah Made a rule of the necessity to obey, follow, and copy the Messenger, thru this rule which must be applied as any other part of Quran we derive from the Sunnah what the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam teaches us.
I don’t want to go into more details on this issue as also why the rule is set, but I just wanted to stress the point that it is not the lack of ability on Allah’s side to include everything in Quran which is already included by virtue of the above Ayahs.
I might have repeated what dear sister Radiyah said but in a different style just for more clarification and closing this gap Insh a Allah
May Allah Accept and forgive any shortcomings.

A message to someone Drowning
Author: Sh. Hamed ibn Abdullah Al-Ali
http://english.islamway.com/bindex.php?sec...=article&id=184
Question:
I would like to let you know that I have committed most major sins and I am not saying this in order to take pride in my sins; I used to feel this before but not any longer. I have drunk wine twice in my life or perhaps three times, I don’t know. I have committed adultery with almost 10 women and I was about to destroy the future of a girl but Allah saved her from my harm; I do not know is it possible that Allah repents on me and forgives me? I don’t know, I have tried to repent more than once and every time I return to the same sins to the degree that I have felt I am a hypocrite who is not afraid of death and being accounted. Sometimes I feel that Allah loves me and that I love Him, but then Satan quickly takes over my heart again.
I have defeated Satan in many rounds, but he defeated me in more battles; Is it possible for me to return to Allah once again and how?
I have prayed a lot but more than that I have interrupted my prayers. My weakness has reached points a believer cannot imagine.
I have sworn upon the Holy Quran that I will stop smoking but I haven’t.
I have promised Allah Himself that I will not view pornographic sites and that I will never visit them again and that I will not watch those unclean movies that the west uses to kill our faith but I have broken my promise to Allah; My will has weakened to a level that nobody can imagine after I used to have strength in performance and the ability to change my personality and my way of life;
I have become a person who does not feel the pleasure of life even though I still maintain my soul and my rounds of vice, sins, lying, cheating; so how do I get rescued?
I want to know what religious people have known but what
I haven’t. I am sure that they know something I don’t know and don’t feel, so why? This is me so what do I do to benefit me, may Allah benefit you.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise be to Allah, and prayers and greetings upon our prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
The prophet (PBUH) said Allah will repent upon whoever repents before the sun rises from the west [reported by Muslim from the hadith of Abu Hurairah]
I have read your message, and I know that nothing prevents you from repenting, even if your sins reach the sky or fill the whole earth. As long as the human is in this life, the door of repentance is open. I have noted from your letter that you are living a battle between the call of faith in your heart, and the call of desire that is guided by Satan in your heart
Praise be to Allah the Exalted who has retained in your heart some of the light of faith, which blames you for sins, and beautified good deeds to you.
But this light is weak, because the darkness of sins, which are the blowings of Satan, has weakened this light. This is why it sometimes shines, making your conscience awake a little, only to extinguish again and you return to committing sins.
I will clarify to you the illness that you are suffering from, then I will describe the treatment, so please read this with reflection and interest, may Allah benefit you from it.
Dear brother, the heart is the place of will in the human; sometimes it wants good, and sometimes evil, and the body parts are nothing but soldiers that obey the heart according to what it desires.
The difference between religious people and yourself is that the hearts of the former firmly want good, so their body parts obey this will and are thus persistent in obeying Allah the Exalted. As for yourself, your heart knows good and evil, and differentiates between good and bad deeds, but it cannot want good, so you find that it wants desires even though it knows they will harm it, so it commands the body parts so they obey it, but what is the reason?.
The reason is that the hearts that are immune to Satan easily want to do good because these hearts are healthy and strong. On the other hand, in hearts that Satan can enter and wonder in freely, Satan can easily achieve making the heart want sins, after he has made them look attractive to the heart, because the latter is ill and full of satanic germs.
For some people, Satan only briefly enters their hearts owing to the strong immunity surrounding them. For example, those who commit minor sins then quickly repent from them, and those are the ones about whom Allah (SWT) has said (interpretation of the meaning): {The pious ones, when a visitation from Satan afflicts them they become mindful, then lo! they see.}.
There are some people whom Satan never comes close to their hearts, as they are like the sky, which is guarded from devils by flames; likewise their hearts are guarded from devils.
The Prophet (PBUH) has said about this heart white like a smooth rock not harmed by temptation as long as the heavens and earth exist [reported by Muslim from the hadith of Huzaifah (RAA)]. Satan has entered the hearts of other people and has dwelled there and created a nest for himself in which he lays his eggs and hatches them. So he has controlled these hearts, commanding them to do forbidden desires, so their hearts want these desires and command their body parts to commit them and they indeed do that. This is because Satan has found hearts that have no immunity, their doors open, weak and ill owing to committing sins, and this is why Allah the Exalted has said about this type (interpretation of the meaning) {Satan has gained the mastery over them, so he has made them forget the remembrance of Allah}.
Because the zikr (remembrance) of Allah is immunity from Satan, Satan has made them forget it in order to control and drive their hearts, which their body parts will then follow.
The heart is not immunized from Satan except with the zikr of Allah the Exalted, and it does not have the strength to want good except by doing good deeds.
<>Satan does not defeat the heart unless it is inattentive of the zikr of Allah the Exalted and weak because of committing sins and vice.
And now, after you have known the reason why your heart does not obey you in wanting to do good and avoid sins, and cannot preserve its righteousness, the treatment is in the following medical prescription. Take it and maintain it as its results are guaranteed -Allah willing - if you persevere it honestly:
1. Maintain the five prayers in congregation, especially the fajr prayer and never miss it. Allah the
Exalted says {and the fajr reading, for the fajr reading is witnessed} i.e. the fajr prayer is witnessed by angels.
2. After the fajr prayer remain in the mosque to read the Quran until sunrise, and then offer 2 rakas 10 minutes after sunrise.
3. Say subhan Allah wa bi hamdih (may Allah be glorified and praised) one hundred times a day at any time in the mosque or house, whether walking, sitting, in the car, etc. This zikr wipes out sins.
4. Ask forgiveness of Allah one hundred times each day, saying astaghfirullah wa atoobu ilayh (I ask forgiveness of Allah and I repent to Him), once again at any time you wish and in whatever condition you are in.
5. Say this zikr: la ilaha illa Allahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu wa howa ala kul shayin qadeer (there is no god but Allah; He has no partner; He has the possession and praise, and He is capable of everything) one hundred times each day at any time you wish and in whatever condition you are in. It doesn’t necessarily have to be said in the mosque. The prophet (PBUH) maintained these zikrs, as they are the life of the heart and its indispensable nutrition.
6. Between Maghrib and Ishaa remain in the mosque and do not leave it, and recite as much as you can of the Quran while concentrating
7. You should totally avoid watching TV and reading magazines, and going to places where there is vice, as you are in quarantine in order to restore health to your heart, and the medicine (good deeds) will not benefit you if you induce disease (sins) into your heart during the treatment period.
8. Continue this program for at least a month: living with the Quran reciting it with consideration, and acting upon what is in it; spending time alone for long hours for the zikr of Allah the Exalted. The proof of doing this for a month is that the prophet (PBUH) ordered that by saying “Recite the Quran in a month, in 25 days, in 10 days, in 7 days” [bukhari & Muslim from the hadith of Ibn Omar].
9. If the environment in which you live does not support you in applying this program then change this environment: abandon bad friends, and avoid places in which you spend your free time if they encourage you to commit sins, and if you can travel to Makkah for example to follow this program then do it.
10. Donate part of your money as a form of repentance to Allah the Exalted, as secret charities are seen only by Allah the Exalted. In the authentic hadith “Secret charities extinguish the anger of the Lord” [narrated by ibn Hibban from the hadith of Anas].
11. Try to perform umrah with the intention of renewing your faith and cleansing your past with the water of this blessed trip. The prophet (PBUH) said A umrah causes forgiving of sins since the previous umrah, and an accepted hajj has no reward other than paradise [bukhari & Muslim from the hadith of Abu Hurairah (RAA)].
12. If you owe anything to others return everything, and do not retain anything you will be accounted for, as a form of repentance to Allah.
13. Ask Allah every night during the sahar (prior to fajr) with this supplication Rabbi inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran wa la yaghfir uzunuba illa Ant, faghfir lee maghfiratan min indik warhamni, inaka Anta Alghafoor Urraheem (My Lord, I have oppressed myself a lot and only You forgive sins, so forgive me a forgiveness from You and have mercy upon me, You are Most Forgiving, Most Merciful), and also Allahuma alhimni rushdi wa qini shar nafsi(O Allah, grant me my the right way and protect me from the evil of myself), as the prophet (PBUH) taught these two to some of his companions.
In addition, perform a lot of istighfar and supplication, as the sahar is a time of acceptance of supplication.
This is your prescription, and one month is not necessarily the period required, as change might appear on you before that, or you might need more than a month in this quarantine. The goal is to expel Satan from the heart and clean his traces and dirt and the filth that he has placed there, as this is the reason behind the weakness of your heart and its incapability of wanting good and doing good deeds, and its quickness to follow desires.
So if health returns to your heart and you become fit and strong when it comes to the zikr of Allah the Exalted, immune from the cunningness of Satan, then you may slightly reduce this program to the extent that you can withstand, as the prophet (PBUH) said “You should do what you can withstand” [bukhari & Muslim from the hadith of Aisha (RAA)], unless you can withstand more than this, for in this case you should increase doing good as long as your heart loves good deeds.
These faithful duties are the levels as considered by Allah: the more a servant does, s/he ascends in the levels of piety. The best things to perform are what Allah has prescribed upon you (obligatory forms of worship). You will notice that things have changed in a surprising manner, as long as you maintain the prescription I have given you, and you will find yourself hating to commit sins and your heart not wanting them, looking at them with inferiority and disdain. You will also like good deeds and feel enthusiastic about them, and feel their good taste in your heart. The secret behind this change is that you have treated you heart with the zikr of Allah the Exalted and good deeds until your heart has become healthy wanting good and loving it after it was ill, wanting evil and sins and loving them. Allah, the Truth and
Exalted says (interpretation of the meaning) {but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has made it seemly in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; those are the followers of the right way).
By grace from Allah and as a favor; and Allah is Most Knowing, Most Wise} and Allah knows best
Sh. Hamed ibn Abdullah Al-Ali, who loves good for You.

Education begins in the Womb
"Verily the creation of everyone of you is brought together in the mother's womb as a drop of semen for forty days, then it becomes a clot for the same period, then it becomes a blob of flesh for the same period. Then the angel will be sent unto it to blow into it a spirit (ruh), and the angel ordered (to carry out) with four instructions: to write down his livelihood, the span of his life, his deeds, and either he is wretched or fortunate..."
And so goes the first part of one of the most well-known hadeeth recorded by Bukhari and Muslim on the subject of Qadr (predestination).
The significance of this hadeeth is that science has recently verified this process of embryo/foetus development. That is, six weeks (roughly 40 days) after fertilisation, the embryo is developed (from zygote - sperm & ovary - to embryo); then another 6 weeks (roughly another 40 days) it develops into a foetus (a clot); after which for about the same period (again roughly another 40 days) it develops into the recognisable human form (a blob of flesh).
Science has also verified that the foetus can think. Before 120 days the foetus does not think: "The brain of the foetus appears to be electrically silent during the first six weeks of life. After this time, slowly activities of low intensity occurs. So although the brain is at least 'moving', it is not 'thinking' in any real sense." (The Thinking Foetus) But after 120 days, when the spirit (ruh) enters the foetus, brain activities place: "The foetus becomes conscious sometime during the second trimester...There is ultrasound evidence that about 23 weeks (161 days) the foetus dreams. Dreaming is certainly an indication of the presence of the mental capabilities required for thought..." (The Thinking Foetus)
There are numerous other things which the foetus can do in this period. Such as expressing emotions (happiness, fear, disgust etc.) through it's facial expressions. It can show anxiety through the sucking of the thumb, assert itself and protest through kicking, and it develops memory.
One other important development during this stage is the ability to distinguish and recognise sounds. Experiments have been carried out that proved this: - A newborn will prefer a story that has been read twice a day to it, when it was a foetus, to a new one. - A newborn will recognise and copy its mother's words. - When a theme music to a program was played, a newborn whose mother watched the show during pregnancy, will calm down.
What is significant about this is that babies can be taught the Quran (or some surahs (chapters) from the Quran) while they were in their mother's womb.
Imagine if you were to read the Quran everyday to your foetus, by the time it is born, inshaa Allah, it will prefer the Quran over other books and sounds. It will recognise the Quran and try to copy it, and it will use the recitation of the Quran to find solace. Is that not what we all want for ourselves, let alone for your child? Imagine your reward when you have bestowed, with Allah's Grace, this tremendous gift on your child. Your reward will be two-fold: one for you for reciting the Quran, the other for you and your child for having taught him the Quran.
Even if you cannot read the whole Quran, whatever you can read, inshaa Allah, will benefit the both of you. A few surahs twice a day will engender a love of the Quran in your child.
So the next time that you are pregnant, inshaa Allah, instead of watching TV or listening to music, reach for the Quran and start reciting.
