A sister says "I'm too young"
Posted by: masriahmuslimah - 04-19-2004, 05:59 PM - Forum: "And remind for reminding benefit the believers - Replies (15)

I'm still young.

Do you know when you'll die sister? The youth's deaths are increasing! I will give you an example of a girl. A True story that really happened.

This happened in Egypt, Alexandria last year in Ramadan. The man was telling me that his wife is a Mohajaba. Living in front of them was a young girl who is not a Mohajaba. And the girl has good things inside her heart, like all of our sisters in Islam, but she doesn't understand the meaning of the Hijab and the meaning it has in Islam. So he said that his wife (and this is obligatory for all the women who wear Hijab) had good relations with this girl. She didn't ignore her just because she doesn't wear the Hijab, no, she was friends with her. So one day the young girl had come to ask the wife if she'd come shopping with her to buy a jeans suit. So the intelligent wife who knows that she has to give the girl dawah [knowledge of Islam] agreed to go shopping with her, but under one condition, the girl comes with the wife to an islamic circle that was going to start. The girl agreed.

So they went to the circle and it was about repentence to Allah. And the girl was so inspired by what was being said, and started to cry until she kept repeating one sentence over and over again: I've repented Allah, please someone cover me. The people told her okay let us take you home and you can put the Hijab on. But she refused, wanting to be covered right at that moment with the Hijab, she couldn't go out without it.So they got her a scarf and a dress, and she left the building with it on. And as soon as she left to cross the road, a car hit her and she died.

I swear this is a true story. She died before she had repented. She is lucky MashaAllah that she repented before she died. So never give the excuse that you are still young, because you never know when you will die.

Abd al-Aziz al-Rantisi has been killed!
Posted by: Dan - 04-17-2004, 11:26 PM - Forum: General - Replies (3)

Bismillah

Top Hamas leader Abd al-Aziz al-Rantisi has been killed by an Israeli helicopter missile strike on his car in Gaza City.

Two of al-Rantisi's bodyguards were also killed in the attack on Saturday evening.

Medics said al-Rantisi was rushed to a Gaza City hospital in a critical condition after the attack. He had reportedly been wounded in the head with shrapnel.

Hundreds of outraged Hamas members and supporters flocked to the hospital after news of the Israeli raid.

The air strike occurred hours after an Israeli border policeman was killed by a Palestinian bomber at the Erez crossing on the Israeli-Gaza border.

No immediate comment was available from the Israeli army on the helicopter strike.

Co-founder

Al-Rantisi, a co-founder of Hamas, has become one of its two main leaders since Israel's killing of Hamas spiritual head Ahmad Yasin in Gaza on 22 March.

Israel tried to kill al-Rantisi, the public face of a Palestinian resistance group that normally stays in the shadows, last June.

On that occasion he and his teenage son were wounded in an Israeli helicopter missile strike on his car, also in Gaza City.

Al-Rantisi had refused to go into hiding like many of his comrades on Israel's wanted list since Hamas launched a human bombing campaign to spearhead a three and a half-year-old Palestinian uprising.

Political role

He had long depicted himself as a Hamas politician with no links to the military wing.

But Israel had refused to accept the distinction, accusing him of being a top decision-maker on attacks and of using his media role to incite violence.

With al-Rantisi filling the role of Hamas spokesman, camera crews from around the world have trooped to his modestly furnished living room to hear him issue vows of revenge, often in calm, even tones, for Israel's killing of resistance activists.

Reactions:

Dr Abd al-Aziz al-Rantisi died within minutes of arriving at Gaza City hospital, where thousands of angry supporters congregated after the Apache helicopter gunship attack on his car.

Regional and international reaction has followed swiftly after the air raid on Saturday that killed the 56-year-old Hamas spokesman and the two passengers - one of whom was al-Rantisi's son - travelling in his car.

"The British government has made it repeatedly clear that so-called 'targeted assassinations' of this kind are unlawful, unjustified and counter-productive."

Jack Straw, British Foreign Secretary

"We ask the international community to enforce the Geneva Convention and send an international protection force to the Palestinian territories immediately."

Saib Uraiqat, the Palesitnian negotiation minister

"Al-Rantisi's blood will not flow in vain."

Ismail Haniya, a possible contender to replace al-Rantisi

"We cannot fail to be pleased with this operation for it is necessary to continue to eliminate the terrorists as we did with Yasin."

Uzi Landau, Israeli minister without portfolio

"The mercy of God upon al-Rantisi ... Israel commits crimes and is rewarded by the American president. When it commits state terrorism, it gets promises."

Nabil Shaath, Palestinian minister

"We condemn this. It is state-terrorism and this is clear proof that Israel cannot live in a climate of stability. They do not want a climate of stability. They need a climate of tension and violence."

Hussam Zaki, Arab league spokesman

"Israel has been given a free hand by the United States to continue its policy of destruction, of siege, of assassination. Right now what is happening is very dangerous. You are closing off all options. You are saying to the Palestinians: 'You have no political recourse, no recourse to the law, no justice anywhere'."

Hanan Ashrawi, Palestinian law maker

"Al-Rantisi's only crime was to say things Israel does not want to hear. Just like Shaikh Yasin's murder, al-Rantisi's death proves Israel does not accept freedom of speech. Your tongue can make you a 'terrorist'."

Demonstrator outside Palestinian hospital in Gaza City

"Our revenge will be swift and strong"

INCEST stories in the Book of God ?
Posted by: wel_mel - 04-17-2004, 08:00 AM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (2)

Salam all.

i was reading the Book "The Choice" by Agmed Deedat. which Sister Jennifer have sent it to me.. May Allah reward her and reward Brother Ahmed Deedat. and all Muslims everywhere ammen.

however, i asked someone Christian in YAHOO chat about INCEST , i told him if i give you a book which is telling you some stories in details about INCEST. would you give this Book to your Mother or daughter to read it ? he replied immediately NO. he doesnt know that the BOOK OF GOD "the Bible" is showing us the same stories.

then the question here, why the Bible tells us about 10 stories of INCEST ????? what is the moral of the stories ? there is NON.. so it is immoral.

here are the quotaions from the Bible regarding this issue. and for those who are Christians. HONESTLY, will you give these to your Mother, daughter, wife or your sister to read it ?

---------------------------------------------------------------

INCEST means: "Sexual intercourse between two persons who are too closely related" (New Collins Dictionary). For example, between father and daughter, son and mother, father in law and daughter in law, brother and sister etc.

INCEST IN GOD'S BOOK (?) BETWEEN A FATHER AND HIS DAUGHTERS:

a) "That night they "both the daughters of Lot" gave him "their father Lot" wine to drink, and the older daughter had INTERCOURSE with him..

"The next day the older daughter said to her sister, I slept with him last night: now let's get him drunk again tonight and you sleep with him. Then each of us will have a child by our father.

"So that night they got him drunk, and the younger daughter had INTERCOURSE with him ...

in this way both of Lot's daughters became PREGNANT by their father"

Genesis 19:33-35

"FROM THE 'GOOD NEWS BIBLE IN TODAY'S ENGLISH"

in the older Versions , like KING JAMES and the ROMAN CATHOLIC versions "SEXUAL INTERCOURSE" is vaguely described as "COLLECTING THE SEED OF OUR FATHER"

INCEST BETWEEN MOTHER AND SON:

[Image: cool.gif] "While Jacob (Israel) was living in the land, Reuben (his firstborn, his eldest son) had SEXUAL INTERCOURSE with Bilhah, his father's cubine"

Genesis 35:22

The older version of the Bible use the word "LAY" for sexual intercourse.

INCEST BETWEEN FATHER-IN-LAW and DAUGHTER-IN-LAW:

c) "when Judah saw her "Tamar, his daughter in law" he thought she was a prostitute, becase she had coverd her face.

"He went over to her at the side of the road and said "ALL RIGHT, HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?" ' He did not know that she was his daughter in law'

"She said, what will you give me?" 'to have sex with me'

"He answered, I WILL SEND YOU A YOUNG GOAT FROM MY FLOCK.

"She said, All right, If you will give me somthing to keep as a pledge untill you send the goat.

"..He gave them "the pledges" to her Then had INTERCOURSE , and she became PREGNANT"

Genesis 38:15-18 "Quoted from Good news bible"

out of the incestuous relationship between a father in law and his daughter in law, twins born, who were destined to become THE GREAT GRANDFATHERS OF JESUS CHRIST .. see mathew 1:3

"And Judas begat Phares and Zarah of Thamar....."

INCEST AND RAPE BETWEEN BROTHER AND SISTER:

d) ".. he took hold of her (Thamar, his sister not to be confused with Thamar in "C" above" and said unto her, come lie with me (have sex with me), my sister.

"And she answered him, Nay, my brother" Amnon, one of the sons of David, the man after God's own heart", do not force me ...

"But he would not listen to her; and since he was stronger than she was , he overpowered her and RAPED her (HIS SISTER).

2 Samuel 13:10-14

WHOLE SALE RAPE AND INCEST BETWEEN SON AND HIS MOTHER:

e) "So they set up a tent for Absalom (another son of King David) on the pllace roof, and in the sight of everyone Absalom went in and had INTERCOURSE with his father's concubines"

2 Samuel 16:22

".... in the sight of everyone" is rendered in the King James Version as "in the sight of all Israel" , This as a fulfilment of God's promise to David the King.

"Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee )DAVID) out of thine own house, and i will take THY WIVES before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour (actually thy son) and he shall lie(have sexual intercourse) wth thy wives in the sight of sun (for the whole world to watch the fun)

For thou didst it secretly(with Bath-sheba the wife of Uriah): but I will do this thing before ALL Israel, and BEFORE THE SUN"

2 Samuel 12:11-12

You can well guess where "Penthouse" and "Playboy" got their inspiration from. Wherfrom of not from the Book of Books ?

f) for other various types of INCEST see LEVITICUS 18:8-18 , 20:11-14 and 17-21.

all the above quoted from the Book "THE CHOICE" VOL 2 by BROTHER AHMED DEEDAT.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

actually there are more, but i dont want to make the thread longer than this.

SALAM all, and May Allah show YOU and US the right path.

Are you Ready for Your Turn ?
Posted by: Amatullah - 04-16-2004, 11:21 AM - Forum: "And remind for reminding benefit the believers - Replies (2)

Are You Ready For Your Turn?

He was a student, probably in his early twenties. I didn't know his name-I really didn't care. All I know is he was going for a lay-up while playing basketball, lost his balance and fell on the ground--flat on his back.

We thought he would shake it off and continue the game--so no one really cared. To everyones surprise, he never got up. At first a few people on his team (later everyone) went up to him but he just wouldn't reply.

CPR did no good. The ambulance personel couldn't save him from dying. The result at the ER was no better. HE WAS DEAD!

As I came home tonight, I thought to myself, it could have been me going up for that lay-up. It is very possible that I could be laying in the cold city morgue, right this minute, as I type this e-mail.

Am I ready to die? Did I communicate with Allah today? Did I perform my daily prayers? Did I seek the pleasure of Allah?

Did I treat my parents and family with respect and love? Did I give any at all in charity (sadaqa) today? How many times did I remember Allah and recount His name?

The entire day I made time to go to school, check my e-mail, read the news, chat with friends, watch TV, play basketball.......but did I even once say "Estagfirullah"? Did I ask Allah to forgive the sins that I've commited today? NO! Not once.

Did I say "Elhamdulillah" other than in my daily prayers? NO! Not once my friends. Would you like to know why? Because I was too caught up with myself and my daily activities.

Well, guess what. I could have lost my life during a lay-up in a basketball game and what do I have with me? Not a thing. Nothing that I did today do I get to bring with me to the grave. Nothing.

A few words that I could have uttered were the only things that I could have brought with me. A few words that would've taken a few seconds of concentration out of the 24 hrs. that was alloted to me.

A few cents in charity instead of cold drinks and candy bars could have saved my soul. But I insisted to continue with my careless attitude.

Thank God it wasn't my turn to go, because I sure wasn't ready.

Now I close my eyes and say Elhamdulillah. Now I look back and say Estagfirullah. Now I have a different attitude. Now, I want to prepare for my turn.

Did you perform your prayers today? Did you give in charity and love? Did you ask for forgiveness yet? Do you care? I'm asking because I don't want to see you fall, knowing you aren't ready for your turn.

Asalam~O~Alykum

This is a piece written by my best friend. She wrote it in an e-mail and sent it to all Muslims we know here in the US. She wanted to remind them who they r and to make them realize what they are doing to reflects on other people who r non-muslims. I am really proud of her that’s why I wanted to share her work with everyone. Hope u like it.

Salam~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Masriahmuslimah

We dream of being millionaires

With publicity and fame,

Trending up with the latest fashion

Making money all the same.

We dont ever stop to think

But throw away good food,

Making our eyes bigger than our stomach

Saying 'were not in the right mood.

We don't make a single dua'a

Just to lift our hands to pray,

But sit in front of the T.V.

Every-night and every-day.

We dont bother to read the Qura'an

Saying ' I dont have time for that,'

'I've got better things to do,'

'Like go to the cinema or chat!'

'Who cares to give Zakaah' we debate,

'Others will look after the poor,'

'I'd rather go to America,

'The Statue of Liberty is worth looking at!'

STOP AND THINK RIGHT NOW!!!

'What am i doing in my life?'

'Am i a Muslim with faith?'

'We'd better change our ways of living,

BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!'
