I live in canada and i am so very confuesed about what i sould do, in the canadian news its always " The terrorist are attaking isriael" and the palestinians are all terrorists i have no idea on what to do .I know that there is alot of prapaganda in canadian news and i know that the palestinians are not terrorists but i need to know that shoud isrial be let alone or "WIPED OF THE MAP" :lol:

Today is the traditional first Saturday of the College Football season. Football (American Football) is the fastest, most physical, and most exciting game on the planet...in my humble opinion.


I used to play for the Maroon team...the Fightin Texas A&M Aggies.














If you ever get a chance to watch or go to a game I highly recommend it. :D

So what do you think about the Fox News reporters who were told that the either had to convert to Islam or die?


I am sure you have heard, they "converted" to Islam and then as soon as they were free renounced their conversion.


So...


A) IS this sort of thing accepted by Islam or was this just a fringe group operating outside of the boundaries?


B) What do you think of their "conversion"?


C) Since they "professed" Islam and then renounced should they now be under the Sharia law and be put to death for leaving Islam?

Today, people complain that they do not see the miracles of Allah as the people used to see during the presence of the prophets. That is not true at all. The miracles of Allah are visible each and every time. Whether a person is out of this world or within this world, under the sea or above the clouds, he will see the miracles of Allah. Mankind created airplanes after so much struggle and hardship, but Allah had created the birds since the beginning of creations, which can outperform the abilities of the modern airplanes. In Canada, the weather fluctuates from extreme cold to extreme hot. But we see that the birds stay outside and survive these temperatures without extra clothing. They do not even need socks to protect their legs. I remember, once a pigeon laid some eggs in our balcony. It was winter. After few weeks, the babies came out. One day as it was snowing, I accidentally opened the balcony door and the mother pigeon flew away leaving the babies unattended. The babies had no feathers to keep them warm. However, they survived this extreme cold temperature for a full 15 minutes until the mother returned. If we were to stand outside without clothes in this temperature, then we would be in the hospital for hypothermia. It’s amazing how Allah preserves these animals!


Even in Jannah, Allah has prepared for us beautiful birds. As one Scholar has mentioned, as we walk in Jannah, we will see thousands of birds flying in the sky. Each bird will have two wings and each wing will have 70,000 feathers. When the birds flap their wings, each feather will give out one type of colour. So, each wing will give out 70,000 different types of colours when the birds fly. We cannot comprehend how beautiful it will be. Then suddenly, you will wonder how these birds taste like. As soon as this thought comes to your mind, the birds will fly towards you. Each one of them will offer itself for your food. They will in fact compete with each other to be eaten. One bird will come and say, “I grew up drinking water from the best fountain of Jannah and eating the best fruits of Jannah. Eat me.” You will agree and immediately the bird will be presented to you in food form on 70,000 different plates. Each plate will have a different meal. So, one bird will feed you 70,000 different types of food! After you are done eating to your satisfaction, the bird will form itself again and fly back to the sky.


We all like to have fun. But to enjoy a nice car, you must work for sometime beforehand to get the money to buy the car. To enjoy a cell phone, we need to make some effort to pay for the bills. Similarly, to enjoy the eternal bliss of paradise, we have to do some work in this world. That is to obey Allah and call others to obey Him. Everyone is looking for peace but peace is hiding behind obeying Allah. When a person obeys his Lord, then he refrains from harming others. Don’t wait; take the first step now to get closer to Allah. Then keep on taking more steps to climb the stairs. One day will come when you will be high up there, Insha-Allah.

Making use of our youth

Dear friends, if Allah gives us 60 years to live then it comes to around 22,000 days (60x365). All these days Allah gives us to prepare for one day of interview with Allah. That is on the Day of Judgement. On that day, Allah will ask us some questions and He wants some correct answers. Allah is so merciful that He already told us what the questions will be through Quran and Ahadith. His mercy is so great that He even told us the answers to these questions. Now imagine, a student goes to write an exam. He opens his exam paper and finds the questions on one side. Then he finds that the answers to the questions are on the other side. Now after writting the exam, if this student still fails then what would we think of him? We would think that he is the dumbest person around. Well, tell you what, on the Day of Judgement, us people who knew the questions and answers will still fail! That is why, this is the time to wake up before we prove ourselves to be the dumbest of people.


Youth is the prime time of our lives. This is where people make important decisions like what to become in the future. Things you do in this time will most likely affect you throughout the rest of your life. That is why, it is important to bring Islam into your life during these days. Many people have the conception that when they get old then they will start practising Islam. Probably you and me also have this feeling. But look at it this way: If you want to become a famous hockey player then you would start playing right from the youth. As you grow up, you will become better and better. But if you think that you will start playing when you are an old man then the chances of becoming famous is virtually zero. That's the reality. When we become old, we won't have enough energy to even stand up and pray.


Because youth is the prime time of your life, that is why it is very precious to Allah. Allah has prepared a shade on the Day of Judgement for those people who used to worship Allah in their youth. On that Day, there will be no other shade except the shade from the throne of Allah. Imagine standing outside on a very hot day under the sun for hours after hours. You would definately want some shadow to rest under. But what about that Day when the sun will be much nearer to us and the heat will be much more extreme. Wouldn't you want some shade on that day? Ofcourse you would!


You and I are all weak in terms of keeping our duties to Allah and Allah is aware of that. Allah wants that we keep trying to do our best. If a baby falls down while walking he tries to get up again and walk. He doesn't keep sitting down. Then a day comes when he does start to walk. Similarly, we should keep trying our best and not give up. A day will come when, Inshallah, we will be strong enough to obey Allah in every situation. Let us make a small promise to Allah right now that we will start doing the things for which we were sent to this life. Otherwise, we will be like that dumb guy who will fail the test on the Day of Judgement.


May Allah make it easy for us. Ameen.

Yes it is nearing us! And am I ever excited and preparing unlike ever before. Speaking of changes, perhaps the greatest change in my life occured post last ramadan. Thus, with sincere determination and immense consciousness, I intend to make this ramadan even more special and unique, Insha'Allah. I want to truly feel and experience every moment of it like never before, whilst being saturated in the shukr of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, bi idnnillah.
