Quote:I use to be a salafee but they are so racist and because of that they are hypocritical. Your special if you are arab and if not then you are special if you are white(American or European), but everything else you are a loser.
When i mentioned the salafi i was intending their stand taken regarding the subject, rising against the rulers. It wasn't meant as an overall attack. Ulema like Sheikh Uthaymeen and bin Baz they had their opinons in this matter. AllahuAlim. Its a complicated issue, but i was referring to a particular book and the the fitnan of Hajaj.

We shouldn't generalize like this sis Sabiqoon.

I agree with Abu Dujanah, who said no one else agrees. And before any one starts reacting. Remember your aqueeda........AL WALA WA BARA is one third of iman. And if you don't understand it then read up on it.

Quote:I get the impression UmmHabibah and Abu Dujanah are the same person so I am not so sure that should count as two people who hate the kaffir.
We Muslims are not that sad

Lets get things in context here, this is a Muslim web site and we are here as muslims to benefit from each other. And we are all one ummah. Islam is what is in our hearts and we as muslims get more pleasure from our religion than any thing else.

But you, on the other hand are some sad person who comes here just to argue your point. Even though you very rarely have one [Image: rolleyes.gif]

We don't have any need to use different identities. SubhanAllah

Umm Habibah and Abu whatever.

Al Wala' Wal Bara' does not entail hating human beings. It means hating the theology of the kufr but not the people. We have to look at the example of the Prophet SAW and his companions. They did not look at kuffar with hate or speak to them rudely. They even eat the sheep that was given to them by the Jewish woman as a gift. Don't distort the concept of al wala' al bara'

Explain in detail what Al Walaa wal Baraa is, okay?

So this what your saying is we should hate Kufr but not the Kuffar who practice this Kufr.

Likewise your saying we should hate Shirk but not the Mushrikeen who practice this Shirk.

To put it this way your saying we should hate the crime but not the criminals?

BTW whats your view on Jihaad?

We have Bara' towards the people of Kufr and Shirk and those that defend them or support them- and that is the same whether their Kufr is out of arrogance or just because they were born into a Kaffir family.

If that person is a Kaffir, we have Bara' towards them even if they are nice to the Muslims. Of course, our manner of dealing with them depends- we would not treat the Kaffir who is open to listen and does not contribute to the war agaisnt Islam the same as we would Rumsfeld or Ashcroft for example.

BTW, we hate them for two reasons, first because of their Shirk and Kufr, which is a disrespect to Allaah's rights, and secondly to their oppression and tyranny against us, a wronging of our rights -- rights that were given to us by Allaah. But Tawheed is not complete and perfected until the second cause of hatred is rooted off the first cause. When it is independently existent, it is just like any hatred that any person has for any other oppressor (a natural feeling that Allaah Placed in His creatures). But when rooted off of the first cause of hatred, it becomes a cause for tremendous Eemaan and Faith.

Allaah's right is that He be worshipped and believed in alone, without any share of worship being dedicated to other than him, as in the Saheeh Hadeeth from Ibn 'Abbaas. And the greatest Dhulm, as mentioned by Luqmaan to his son, and by our Prophet, Sallallaahu 3alayhi wa Sallam, is to dedicate worship to others than Allaah.

So how can we get angry about the lesser Dhulm being done to us, and not hate the greater Dhulm, disrespecting Allaah's right (which they only hurt and oppress themselves by). The true slave who loves his Lord gives more concern to his Lord's specific rights, over his own.

While on his death bed did the Prophet sws not call Umar ra and order that the Jews and Christians be expelled from the Penninsula?

Why do you think that was?

Shaykh Ahmad ibn 'Ateeq, rahimahullaah, said:

"There isn't in the Book of Allaah the Exalted - after the issue concerning the obligation of tawheed and the forbiddance of its opposite - any issue which has as so many proofs, nor so clearly explained, than the issue of walaa' and baraa'."

As regards walaa' (allegiance), it is manifesting sincere love and help for Allaah, and for His Prophets, and for the Believers.

Whereas baraa' (enmity) is manifesting enmity and dissociation from falsehood and its people . And these matters are actually from the most fundamental issues of faith (eemaan).

Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said:

"As for praise and censure, love and hate, allegiance and enmity - these are things for which Allaah sent down His proof; and His proof is His Book. So whosoever is a Believer (mu'min), then it is obligatory to show allegiance to him; whatever group he is from. But whosoever is an unbeliever (kaafir), then it is obligatory to show enmity to him; whatever group he is from ... Whoever has in him both faith and wickedness; he is given allegiance in proportion to his faith, and shown enmity to in proportion to his wickedness. He is not expelled from [the fold] of faith in totality merely because of committing sins and acts of disobedience; as is the view of the Khawaarij and the Mu'tazilah."

Please sister read up on this subject. Its a very important part of our aqueeda. Don't let shaytain fool you
