This is a good point you brought up. Yes, we have to think of what is happening in Palestine, but at the same adhere to the boundries laid out in the Quran.

Someone in the link provided by Br. Purgetroy said Hamas should be done away with. While I do not agree with suicide bombings, I do agree that Hamas is needed. I don't see many others standing up to help the Palestinian people. Someone needs to fight for them, to offer them some kind of protection. It is not fair that the Israeli army can roll in with their tanks and kill babies, elderly, women, and say these people do not have a right to defend themselves.

The problem here is not based on religion, it is based on politics. America provides support to Israel, a country based on the same 'principal.' Where are the governments backing the Palestinians? Sitting in their palaces I guess while their neighbors die in the street. I think America is not the only country turning a blind eye to this situation.

In a nutshell, there are many you can blame, and they don't all come from the west. Forgive me if that sounds offensive, but that is how I see it. Once we overcome our own shortcomings we can make a real difference in our situation.

All I wanted to say that every muslim can do his responsibilties from

his place without going anywhere we have to spread islam not by

wars and killing people but by good examples this is the teachings

of islam not me but its easy for people to judge Hamas or any

paletinian act coz they are not in their shoes.

You can not judge an act of someone his son or any part of his

family got killed because he is fighting for his country or freedom.

All I can say that Hamas are fighting according the position they

are in right now for me all I can do is to spread islam where ever

I am (By the good example) and you and every other muslim.

May allah give all of us the right path.

No dear mother, I dont have a problem with the concept of Jihad. Yet there is a time and a reason for everything. you shouldnt start a Jihad for the smallest thing. its not the age of empires any more and I hope it wont be. the Catholic church has alot of blood on its hands because of the hundreds of holy wars (crusades) it made against the jews, muslims and other nations. i do not want to see Islam in that dress.

we are not to offend. we are to defend only. when our nation is under attack, then its our duty to defend it. and when i say defend it, i mean repeling the attackers and destroying them. yet non the less, its not wrong to push the battle into the invading nation's land and take it. yet the inocent civilians should not die and be forsaken as much suffer as possible. it is only the laws of Jihad i'm stating, am i not?

we grief for them. and its all the more why we should free our land from the invaders. yet ours is not the same mentality. if they kill our children, we will punish he who killed them. the death of our child is sad, yet it does not give us the right whatsoever to kill their child in return. there is nothing gained by killing their children. we punish them for their crimes by death, yet their civilans are inocent.

concerning your second point, brother Najjar, there is more religious freedom in the west than in arabia. so there is no need to fight them for the spread of Islam.

I guess that you did not get my point form the first message

I said the killing civilans are prohibited in Islam and according

to my thinking which comes from Islam rules that killing children, women, old people and ... etc is Prohibited (Haram).

About fighting I did not say that we have to fight to spread Islam

this is the opposite I said that we have to spread Islam by the good example

not by fighting those days has gone we already passed

that time.
