I agree with you 100%, Dan. Sunni muslims, especially those who live in the Middle East, are truly sick.

Are you really working hard to be banned. Now you turned from getting off topic to insulting and even calling us names.

For this you will be warned since this is your first time reepi and banned for about 3 days.

I meant to make this public with leaving the reason for all to see.

Karbala wrote: Interesting how the article begins with an attack on my people ie the Shi'a

You know, Karbala, I think Dan and Muslimah have been successful in changing my mind about this incident.

Let's examine the facts: a gang of Sunni males, much beloved by Allah, see a Shiite couple in a car. As devout Sunni males, there hearts were filled with hatred towards that couple, since (as we all know) Allah hates Shiites because they are kuffar. Therefore, with total disregard for their own personal safety, those brave Sunni males attacked that kuffar couple, and repeatedly beat, tortured, and raped them.

I agree that this case has certainly been a travesty of justice. By performing this rightous act, those devout Sunni males have proven that they deserve to be elevated to the place of highest honour in Saudi Arabian society. And instead what happens? The Saudi Arabian court sends them to jail!!! What was that judge thinking...

Certainly reepi will be still able to read this, now I really realised the common enemy who spares no effort to fuel split and hatred between us muslims. I hope Karbala was also able to clearly see it.

Quote:Did you really read this article?

I read the article thank you very much. Did you? Because if you did you would have realised its claims are absolutely ridiculous and its logic flawed. Since you didnt really bother reading what I said in my last post ill make it even more simpler.

Calltoislam claim:

Quote:The Qatif adulteress confessed to having an affair on her husband, and this is all in her sworn testimony.

Where is the evidence of this????? The Qatif "adulteress" husband and lawyer appeared on TV denying these claims.

Calltoislam say:

Quote:The Qatif woman was tried in a court of law and found guilty of Zinnah (in the general sense of the word). She is a convicted Zaani (adulterer).

General sense of Zinaa?

Calltoislam say:

Quote:‘Allaah has decreed for every son of Adam his share of
zinaa, and there is no way to escape from it. The zinaa of the eye is a glance, the

zinaa of the tongue is speaking, and the zinaa of the mind is wishing and hoping;

then the private part either acts upon this or it does not.’” (Reported by al-

Bukhaari, 11/26; Muslim, 4/2046).

Brothers, I dare any of you to claim they are not adulterers according to this definition of zinaa. We should all be punished by lashes.

Quote:I am just a little shocked that (as was stated in the article) how ready muslims lately are to trust western media over other muslims. Truly a sign of our sickness.

Asalaamu alikum,

What is going on? I had the impression the woman was punished with lashes because she had a sexual affair with the ex-boyfriend, from whom she was retreiving a nude photograph from, before her current marriage. And having confessed to that relationship she was punished, as well as the man, accordingly. To me that does not sound like a problem.

Not quite SisterJennifer the girl of Qatif was given a punishmnt based on "khalwa" ie being alone with a non-mahram man. there was no sexual affair involved. Where did you get the idea she was having a "sexual affair"?

The report I heard said she had an intimate affair with the man from whom she was retrieving the nude picture from. Which does make sense. I mean, why would an ex boyfriend have a nude photo in the first place?

Also, the reason (as stated in the article) that she is not stoned for having an affair is because she did not confess to having sexual intercourse but rather an inappropriate relationship with a non-mahram man, hence the 90 lashes.

It tries to be western so...

I did really read your post. (probably in the same manner in which you read the article, right?)

And for the record, yes, my impression of you is influenced by your being shi'a. How could it not? Impressions I make on others is impacted by my being sunni muslim.
