Assalamu alaykum
Brother and sister in Islam i need a solid information about the black stone of the kaabah,
i was small l when i lived in saudi arabia, didnt know much about it, i asked some peoples but they have different way of answering.
some says it is a stone from paradise.......u can see people kissing the black stone some says it was a white and becoz it absorbs the sin of wicked person it became black, how logical is it? becoz of different answer from different individuals i was unhappy.
therefore i need an accurate information about it, why do people have to kiss the stone? what if anyone does not kiss?
wassalam

"ar rukn al yamani" is the stone at the corner that preceeds the Black Stone when one is making tawaf. So if one starts tawaf (at the Black Stone, of course), there are two corners that are passed and then ar rukn al yamani then the Black Stone. Make sense?
We as muslims are also informed that prayer absolves sins from one prayer to the next, as does juma from one juma' to the next, as does umrah from one umrah to the next. Also saying subhannallahi wa bihamdi 100x absolves the days sins even if they are as "numerous as the foam on the sea." This does not mean that we can do whatever we want.
Remember the keys to taubah are sincerity and the intention to no longer commit that sin again. Insha'Allah I helped rather than hindered.

I understand what you mean.
I guess I would ask them since the stone is already completely black how can they be sure that their sins were "absorbed."
