That may be what is written into Islamic law...And I applaud those values and those that keep those values...but that isn't what I see manifesting itself throughout the Islamic world today.


I have very good Pakastani Christian friends for example whose home was burned down by a mob of muslim radicals. They were pretty much kicked out of the country. That sounds like oppression to me...and it's pretty widespread by all accounts in Pakistan.

I feel like a broken record... I'll readily admit that many many muslims are NOT practicing Islam fully, very unfortunate. Of course if I judged a religion by some of its followers then Cathlics are pedophiles, which I know is not true.

I even said that I applaud those Muslims that practice this value...sadly for the Good Muslims, the bad Muslims are getting all the bad press these days. I wonder when the majority of true Muslims are going to silence the violent minority?

I don't know about that. The media here is extremely liberal and if anything Pro-Islam and Anti-US. I am sure that my perception isn't fully true though.

Any interview they do, they cut off the guest to interject their opinion. They will mock the person if they do not agree. It is sickening.


Which programs have you seen that portray the desire for the US to be defeated in Iraq? Most mornings, I watch the News Mix on my TV, which lets me watch all the major news channels and I see no evidence of your claim. I might be watching the wrong thing?

The papers likw...the New York Times, The LA Times, The Dallas Morning News....Hollywood - yes a media source...CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, Good Morning America....pretty much every source except talk radio and to a certain degree Fox News.
