I am an American thanks very much, and I say what I say based and my experiance day in and day out not because am judging my own people by Bush but from what comes from their own mouths. It amazes me that if Muslims fight back against occupation they are called terrorists. Its as if they are expected to just lie down and let the Americans do as they wish.

It is of course a terrible idea to ignore tragedy, but it is perhaps even worse to insert tragedy where there is not.

Maybe you should look at what is happening in the prisons. And look at camp X-ray too. You know I WISH it was inserting a tragedy, but my mind can never come up with such inhumane acts of cruelty as what these people do in the name of spreading freedom.


If there are so many Americans hating this war and not supporting it then maybe it is time to organize and do something about that rather than just passive talk. I would assume if the majority really wish to stop the war and will back their words with responsible action maybe it can bring a change.

Actually, what I was getting at, I had hoped in a gentle way is that I am so sick and tired of hearing non-Muslims pointing to Saddam and using it as a justification for the Americans to go and kill or torture whomever they wish.

That wasn't what I was saying. I was simply stating a fact that since the war 'ended', most of the civillians killed in Iraq have been killed by other Muslims.

There are a couple young guys I work with who just got back from time in Iraq not very long ago. We were all in the break room one morning when one of the guys asked a question to them about what its like over, and how did he feel about the house to house raids that were going on and civilians being killed in them? And to this that man laughed. And his reply was "They fight with each other anyhow so at least its a good place to get some target practice." hahaha. I'll never forget his face. It really irritated me both as a Muslim and as an American too.


I know you didnt mean any harm. And I dont mean to fight with anybody. We are all entitled to thoughts and feelings of course. Even if they are small minded :) Take care.

I'm not versed enough in politics to know what to do that is effective. There are plenty of protesters, they're all over the place. Or, they were for a while. I marched, I listened, but what can you do?


The unfortunate truth is that without military strength, those who DO have that strength will walk all over you.


Perhaps we SHOULD be discussing what can be done. You're right - idle chit-chat doesn't make a difference.


I shall pursue my education in this matter.

Yet soilders who oppose the illegal occupation are being court-marshalled for life imprisonment If they do not Serve or have moral convictions against the Barbaric invaders.


How different is the co-a illation from Saddam – The Invaders Bomb their doctrine on a nation. Forcefully murder the idea of Democracy to people. No better than Saddam


How different are the Illegal invading troops from Colonist that invaded my country years ago for trade: fortify themselves in our home land, Rape / Loot Kill our people.
