and their smiles disappeared,but what about the" mosaic of Iraqi martyrs who have killed

Who Killed more Iraqi youth, children and women...Bush or Sadaam? I am an American. I don't like Bush at all and didn't support the war...however, I do think that Iraq will be much better off in the future without Sadaam and with a government chosen by the people of Iraq. Therefore, I wouldn't agree that they "died for nothing."

So If u hate Bush ur not alone, but just imagine how the Muslim world feel?


Ur country first invaded Afghanistan, then Irak and still Irak's scandels are haunting America..now the latest buzz is that America wanna NUKE Tehran!!!!


Shame on America for being such a dictator! WHO gave it all the power to kill and destroy other countries??? they THEMSELVES claimed their 'superiority' and then KILL thousands!!

Sadly the majority of people killed in Iraq have been killed by muslims

Actually, what I was getting at, I had hoped in a gentle way is that I am so sick and tired of hearing non-Muslims pointing to Saddam and using it as a justification for the Americans to go and kill or torture whomever they wish. Its as if they use the logic that, well... their leader did it so big deal if OURS DOES? It's as a way to give murder less significance, and this is just strange thinking especially from a group claiming they are "liberators."

That is a rather small minded way to view it, if i may say so. There are many, many people who do not feel this conflict is necessary or justified, and many here in the US believe it's just a political and economic ploy anyway.


Personally I feel it should have been left alone. We should have focused on our own defense and keeping our own country safe, and let the middle east continue to suffer under tyranny. it is the responsibility of the people to liberate themselves from dictators. If those people do not have the will to be free, then they do not deserve to be free.


It is a good thing that not everyone shares that view, though, or there may very well be many, many more Iraquis dead, and that situation might still be volatile - not to mention the possibilities of even greater tragedy.


We should strive for peace across the face of the world, not simply point the finger of blame and wish that the problem would go away. That is lazy, and change only happens through work.


I don't know what americans do to people over there. I'm not in it. Are you? If so, have you witnessed this brutality first hand? Or has your own media told you about it... all governments lie to their people, it is the only way to control the masses and governments seek to do exactly that - it is their idea of how to try to maintain peace while still profiting.


It is of course a terrible idea to ignore tragedy, but it is perhaps even worse to insert tragedy where there is not. The war on the whole is tragic, because of the loss of HUMAN life. Not muslim, or non-muslim. To believe differently seems to me to be the same ......... God's face - denying that all of his children are worth their lives, or that only some are really a loss, the others simply fodder for hell.


There is no excuse for war.

As an aside - Don't judge americans by the actions of our leader, and we won't judge iraquis on the actions of THEIR leader. You would not like for every american to believe you were a potential barberous dictator just waiting for the chance to make a grab at power and burn the world, would you?


There is no distinction between one man's death an another. They are both lives lost to the world. Perhaps it was before their time, perhaps it was the perfect time. Only God knows. But no one here has pointed at saddam as justification for our leader's actions. For you to even say that in the first place takes the value from what you originally said, and that is a sad thing. Killers ARE killers, whether foreign or native, and Death is Death.
