Zina Is Not Only Intercourse
#1

<b>"Rasulullah (SAW) explained: </b>If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with a piece of iron it would be better for him than if he were to touch a woman whom it is not permissible for him to touch." <b>(Reported by al-Tabaraani; see also Saheeh al-Jaami, 5045). </b>

This refers to the punishment for touching, so how about worse deeds, such as embracing and kissing, and even worse kinds of illicit activity?

<b>Rasulullah (SAW) said</b>, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman the Devil makes a third." (Al-Tirmidhi 3118, Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab, Tirmidhi transmitted it as authentic) note:

So we should always try not to be alone with a woman who is not mahrAm to us and not even go close to Zina. The Same goes for us Sisters.

<b>Imaam al-Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) said</b>: The ulama said that the phrase And come not near to unlawful sexual intercourse is more eloquent than merely saying Do not commit zinaa, because the meaning is, Do not even come close to zinaa. This means not doing any deed that may get close to zinaa or lead to it, such as being alone with a member of the opposite sex, touching, looking, going to evil places, speaking in a haraam manner to a woman to whom one is not related, thinking about and planning immoral acts, and so on.

<b>Touching a Strange Woman with Lust</b>

It has been reported that the person who touches a strange woman with lust, on the day of resurrection his hands
will be shackled to his neck. If he kissed
her, his lips will be cut off and thrown in the fire of Jahannum. If he committed adultery then his thighs
will bear witness to it and testify against him on the Day of Qiyâmat. It will say to him, "I was mounted for something impermissible." Allâh will look at him with anger. The flesh of his face will fall off and he will proclaim "What did I do?" His tongue will testify and say, "I spoke to whom it was not permissible for you to talk to." His legs will testify, "I walked towards something unlawful." His hands will testify "I held something which was prohibited for you." His eyes will testify "I gazed at unlawful things." His private parts will testify "I committed the act." An angel will say, "I heard it" while another will say, "I’ve written it down." Allâh will say "I was aware of it and I concealed it." Then Allâh will say to the angels "Let him taste of my punishment. My anger has increased on one who has no shame." (Kitâb-ul-Kaba’ir)

<b>Anas (RA) reports that Nabî (SAW) said:</b> "Imân is a garb with which Allâh clothes whomsoever he wishes. If a person commits adultery this garb is snatched away and if he repents it is again returned" (Kitâb-ul-Kabair).

<b>Rasûlullah said:</b> "…adultery of the <b>eyes </b>is when it looks at that which is Harâm; adultery of the <b>ears </b>is when it listens to that which is Harâm; adultery of the <b>tongue</b> is when it utters Harâm; adultery of the <b>hands</b> is when it touches Harâm; adultery of the <b>feet </b>is when it walks towards Harâm; adultery of the <b>heart</b> is when it desires and hopes for that which is Harâm; adultery of the <b>private parts </b> is when it succumbs to that which is Harâm." (Targhib wa Tarhî B )

From the above Hadîth it is clear and apparent that Islam forbids not only the act of adultery but all acts that invite and encourage the act of zina. Islam <b>shuts </b>the door to the root of every evil.

this is all so scary aswell as the whole post, when you read about it. Makes you think and be more aware and cautions about how you interact with other people.

In fact here's a bulk of the section i link to here for quick viewing. But you need to read the link i posted to understand Slavery in Islam or some of the section below still won't seem to make sence.

Quote:It's not nice that in a situation of war women will be taken captive no. But after war and defeat of an enemy and their land. The women remaining could either be left free to wander the streets of their enemy begging or selling themselves or be taken captive. The women couldn't go and work in the enemies land obviously as the women of these times were active in the wars not at the front line but helped the soldiers on the feild threw rocks, some fought some were archers. So they were active enemies, this is historical fact. Like i said not obviously with the all the men in the thick of battle but they participated in the battles. So just because they were women, as some with a sexist mind may think, they weren't all docile scared women in their homes. A lot came out to fight and were part of the battles. So they were still considered enemy.
Obviously there would be some women who weren't like this and were at home, of course but working out which ones to trust and allow to roam about the land where you occupy and which ones were dangerous soldiers or spies would be impossible so being seen as the enemy they were taken captive. Personally i think if the women never enetered the battle in large numbers as they did. (a huge number used to walk behind the enemy soldiers and kill them with rocks if they decided to flee from the Muslims) If they weren't so active, it's arguable if they wouldn't have been taken captive at all. Sure some would as not all Muslims are perfect, but to say every Muslim man at the time was a sex starved beast (considering up to four wives were permitted) and ran about grabbinf every female captive would be unfair and inaccurate.

This is why the women were taken captive in the war situation they were still enemies. Not all, but it could have been the majority, it seems safe to assume so in my opinion. My reasons for this above. And women were taken captive in this kind of situation ONLY. Anyone else doing any kind of women slave trading outside of this was going AGAINST the Qur'an and Sunnah, and we know many people still do this. Thus you see countires doing it today Muslims countries. And i will say to their faces any of them, the situation they have slaves in today is AGAINST the Quran and Sunnah i know some Scholars agree with me and some dont. The ones who don't in my eyes are amongst those who sypathise with those who want sex outside of marriage, i have no time for them. Deviators.

What i have learned so far of Islam and Slavery and it's over a years research into slavery of all kinds, what i have learned is people who slave trade today are going against the Qur'an and The Sunnah. (which Allah orders us to follow in many verses, this is also something else some Muslims who should know, and who should know more than me, don't seem to grasp we are ordered in Qur'an to follow the Prophet PBUH and obey him)

Anyway This is why women captives were permitted in the sight of God in a war situation. Ok... were these women Sex Slaves?.....

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="2407" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>
"And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till Allah give them independence by His grace. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of Allah which He hath bestowed upon you. Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful. (The Noble Quran, 24:33)"

So "FORCE NOT" which a direct command from Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) to "not" do something. Is saying that men who own female captive of war should NOT force their women into whoredom if they want to preserve their chastity. So the idea some may have, and i would have had at the time no doubt, Was one of men having female captives and raping them as they please is directly forbidden in Qur'an "force not" or in another translation "Do not force" etc etc.

So....if a man was to follow Qur'an to the letter as i and all Good Muslim do or try to do then he can in no way have sex with her when he wishes as Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) is saying to not do so "if she wished to preserve her Chastity". So some God fearing men man ask and ask and ask to have intercourse with them, but if the Woman they have taken captive says no and she wants to remain chaste, then they cannot do so...this Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) is clear on.

The last part is saying if the women is forced (As Allah knows many would be) then she shouldnt feel she is wronging Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) because how can she physically stop them. But the orders are there to not do it to men for everyone to see.

Some have said "well Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) should double stress that this is not the womans fault" or "Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) should not even mention the possibility of her thinking she is in the wrong when clearly she wouldnt be."

I can explain this as well, women at that time were very religious (as in they all at least belived in one main God, who they called Allah) and it is part of the owner of these womens duty to teach them Qur'an or educate them in Islam and other areas if they are able. So to a Woman living in these times, who would have no doubt though that this sicko raping her was somehow in the right and she is in the wrong and being hated by Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala), No God is telling her dont think this is your fault. This is shown when he says Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) is oft forgiving at the end of the verse.

As for the Guy who forces sex on the women, his case is with Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) as Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) has said to him "force not" and he went and "forced" so that's between him and Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) If he wishes to disobey Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) fine for him, but any Pious man wouldn't.

So the image of Muslims raping or having intercourse with their Women captives is not a realistic one, as most Muslims at the time were extremely God fearing. I've explained of course not all would have been Pious and those ones have been warned, just in case any sick ideas pop into the head, but most were Pious so any idea of forced Intercourse etc would be out of the Question. As Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) has directly said no, force then not, do not force them. It cannot be any clearer.

Apologies for using the words Rape etc to some members but it would have happened and i don't like to use the words "forced intercourse" when some of these poor women would have been raped.

And read the rest here Insha Allah...
