Are American and European muslims more liberal?

Salaam Alaikum!

While we're on it, I was listening to this radio talk show where this Christian woman (cautious as she is) called in and slammed "Evangelical" Christians for their fervid hatred of Muslims. To demonstrate how Christianity is a peace-loving religion, never mind the verses, she briefly explains how Jesus loved and loved despite the howling from his Jewish contemporaries.

I'm sure you all noticed what I noticed, right? Sounds like this woman wanted to replace Jesus with Auguste Comte and replace Christianity with the "Religion of Humanity." Obliviously as she is to the New Testament evidence, she blithely sees nothing wrong with conveying a watered down version of the "Son of God." It seems like she fears Liberals more than she fears God; a sad, but all-in-all prevalent case. I still prefer my "Evangelical" Christian when it comes to conveying “Christianity.” The nuanced and patty-cake Christianity liberals spew leaves me wondering why they remain Christian. Kind of goes back to Alasdair MacIntyre's "Fideism," doesn't it?
