You are right Brother Wel Mel, it is a sign of the times why nobody has relpied to this thread. Muslims all over the world are slacking off, and this is why that the state of our Ummah is in.
I have read and also heard on Islamic tapes and CD's we have that a Muslim should be physically fit and know some kind of martial arts or self defense. It is our duty to be ready for this type of jihad if needed.
Also for John, jihad means to sruggle. There are many types of jihad. Defending oneself in a war is only one kind.
May Allah guide us and so we all may become better Muslims, Ameen.
