That is oversimplified. We should not forget the sacrifices of Muslims, and Muslim league's efforts. And the "Gadr", which is called "Sepoy Mutiny" by the British. Thousands of Muslims died in the war. And Gandhi belonged to a high caste, and thus despised the Muslims

Gandh's approach of non violent protest was not new, but Prophet Muhammed (SAW) had did the same thing for 13 years in Makkah. Too bad we muslims didn't learnt that, and the non muslims found this way.
