SisterJennifer wrote: Do you believe in Day of Judgment? If you do, what do you think would happen on that day?
As a Christian, I believe that there will be a Day of Judgement when every human will stand before God for judgement and sentencing (either heaven or hell). In judging us, God will show both justice and mercy, and I am confident that His judgements (whatever they are) will be fair.
In my particular case, I think God's sense of justice will require that I be sentenced to spend eternity in hell. But on the other hand, I also believe that God loves me and wants to show me mercy. Logic would dictate, then, that I should look forward to judgement day with both dread and hope.
Luckily, as a Christian, I have a hope within me which eliminates (as far as possible, in my currently fearful, human form) my dread:
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:15-16
Alas, as a sinner I don't always speak the gospel message with gentleness and respect. I will have to answer for that sin, as well as all my other sins, one day...

I have to leave now, so I won't be posting any more responses until tomorrow. I want to get this thread back onto the topic of "The True Furqan", where I hope to address the criticisms which have been raised (within this thread) against this book.
If anyone wishes to continue the other discussion which has taken place in this thread (about what Christians believe about sin and judgement), then perhaps that discussion should be continued in a new thread?
