Holy Week and Pork!!

Bismillah: Assalamo Alikum. Quote:It is a fast. I haven't heard that one can't eat pork per se...we don't eat meat on Fridays during lent. Not because meat is bad. We do it as a sacrfice. Surely you know what a fast is.... Ok, but is there any biblical reference regarding this matter? Or is it only a traditional practice? I wonder why in the Philippines they forbid anyone from eating pork during the holy week, they are also Catholics!!! Salam Wael. |
