Can one only understand the Quran by just reading it?

i am trying to bring out the need of ta'weel as well as the need of a good literature, because not all English translations are accurate, and they are not to be considered the Quran itself, but rather the meaning of the Quran in what the scholars did their best to be most accurate.


it is not only the need of tafsir, but it is also the need of hadith , as well as the reasons of when and why the verse has been revealed


the Quran is clear , as in terms of what distinguishes what is FALSE from TRUTH....


otherwise there are verses in the Quran, that if one just reads them, cannot simply find the answer by just reading it

if one was to read this...and simply go by what it says, he will simply think the Quran was revealed in one night, the night of power
