I I don't see America -- under any leadership -- reversing its policies in the Middle East any time soon. Rather, I think America will continue to bet its money on a losing horse until its power fades into relative obscurity.

See Khairan I agree with u, however, my main point was that the democrats wan because they used the pulling out of US army in their electoral platform. If it means anything it means that the majority of voters are physically against this war, against this unnecessary presence in the Middle East. Since the common US citizen uses a different criteria to measure his/her interests which has nothing with being a super power. I mean just like laura said the average person will be more focused on the day to day life needs; wage increase, better education, better living standards ..etc. Just people, human beings like us Khairan. Sobhan Allah.
