Bismillah
as salam alykom shorty,
Well, I read a newspaper article here in Egypt about this phenomenon. The title was "I wish Ramadan was the whole year long". Matter of fact, this phenomenon is quiet widely spread. Many women who, originally, dont abide by the Islamic dress code, try to do so during Ramadan for whatever reasons they have. Now, for us to judge them as hypocrite, this is uncalled for. We cannt judge, we can only make dua for them that Allah strengthens their Eman in order to be able to continue. For example, if we meet them we express sheer, smile, but we can make a nice remark nicely, that o good u were able to abide by this during Ramadan in order to help your muslim brother lower their gaze, protect yourself..any such nice remark. Then may Allah Allow u to continue, you did experience it, it is not really hard. Plus you are much safer and secure not having everyone allowed to look at u..
Insh aAllah such attitude shall work. But never talk from an upper level. I mean trying to convey a message o i m better than u, or how did u do this?
If Allah's Name is the Merciful, Ghaffour (Oft Forgiving), we must learn to understand the situaiton of others.
