If you do use the pill make sure you see your doctor first. There can be side effects which, although rare, can be dangerous. If you intend to fly at all, its also recommended you stop taking the pill for sometime before, due to the fact that the pill can cause DVT.


Your also more at risk if you also have other problems, being a smoker, having family history of thrombosis or similar, diabetic, high blood pressure etc;
