Far be it from me to say what form of birth control a woman should use. However I've seen some statements here that are down right ignorant. (sorry for the strong language but that's exactly what it is)

I'd like to know what journal of medicine you got this information from? I ask because it is well documented that once a woman stops taking the pill, her hormonal balance recovers very quickly. Which is why you see women panic when they "miss a day".
Not to get too personal, my wife is a midwife who treats many muslim women (I've been in the office setting up the computer equipment and have seen them there) My wife tells me that the highest requested form of birth control from her patients is the IUD. It is, I am told, a very safe, effective and temporary form of birth control.
Naseeha, I would suggest speaking with your medical professional, and if you can find one who shares your faith to converse with, all the better.
