Obviously, the evidence that you bring is not sufficient for me as proof that Jesus is God. Why would not Adam be put into this category? If anyone has the greater claim to divinity and being the son of God then it would be him considering he was the very first man ever. So if God begets then Adam would be the one begotten first. If God cannot say "Be" and have Jesus created then He cannot with Adam.
Why is it so important for christians to have an intermediary between people and God? Why is the christian god so weak that the only way he can forgive sins is to kill part of himself in sacrafice. No person on earth would claim this as justice. If my neighbor stole my car, my killing my son would absolve him of this crime? I am supposed to rely on this sense of justice to save me?
It comes down to people needing to feel like they are like God. "See God sweated and deficated. I'm a child of God." It is just too arrogant to me.

Joseph Smith of the Mormons says that his Book of Mormon is proof that he is a prophet too.
I've never heard that Christians are arrogant. Arrogant about what? To be a believer one has to humble himself before the Lord and admit his fault and sin.
