Why are we not able to wake up for Fajr?
#4

Salam

Dua is one of the greatest sources of strength and success in all things, as it has been said already. Praying to Allah to help you wake up to pray is helpful.

I never in my life used Alarm clocks to wake me up. It's strange to some people especially the people whom I live with. If I want to do something at such and such time and it's important to me, I'll wake up exactly at that time. Even if I go to sleep after 12:00 am in the morning. Sadly though there have been moments in my life that I never prayed properly and that made it difficult for me to stand in prayer and pray, because these voices in my mind tell me, "There is no point in praying, because you can't just pray when you want to, it's better if you don't pray at all. It's really frustrating. And it makes me feel ashamed to stand infront of Allah.

I don't want to make myself look like someone who prays all the time and is pious because I'm not. Lately I've been struggling to pray my salats. And it's starting to effect me.

I feel like someone or something has seriously set a curse on me. I feel these struggles in me when I stand for prayer, it scares me. I wish I could just pray my salats and feel the fulfillment I always used to feel after praying. I feel empty. I know I have the will, but I feel cursed.
