Im a british pakitani myself and i agree with u radiyah learning urdu has nothing to do with the spirit of islam. Yes it might be of help to like people who don't know english, cant read it or nething, so to them they learn everythign in urdu, but thats a different issue.
I haven't had any problems with my my schools i have been to. I live in an area which is highly populated with many pakistani muslims and muslims from other cultures. I found that there arent any bullying problems in schools or nething like that. All children no matter wot religion or from wot culture all work togther and evrything.
There are loads of mosque or places for children or people of all ages to go an learn about Islam. There is a difference of opnion on issues that arise from one mosque , one imam to another, which in turn i think confuses some1 who is tryin to learn sumthing about islam. I think that imams should be appionted very carefully.
