Quote:I have seen this "proof". IMHO, it takes a lot of twisting and mind contortions to accept this one.(regarding the description of embryo in Qur'an)
Actually, to me this is a pretty amazing miracle. Not sure why you think it takes mind contortions to accept it

I used to be Christian and yes, we learned that Mary married Joseph, but I learned that they married after Jesus (as) was born,
Learned from where, please? What source?

I learned everything in Sunday school, dunno what else to say.
Quote:Quick question for you: Can you tell me what made you a Christian or how you initially became Christian and then what made you leave? Out of curiosity; it may help me understand your perspective a little better.
My parents and family were Christian, they raised me that way. I left when I actually began researching and studying and found that most of the beliefs are ridiculous. I should point out that my specific denomination was Mormonism, which I know is much much different than "regular" Christianity, but they are still Christians, still believe in Jesus (as) and all of that.
After leaving Mormonism, I just couldn't bring myself to join ANY Christian denomination because I felt very uncomfortable with worshipping Jesus (as), and I had visited other church services before and I didn't like how almost no one ever mentioned God, it was always Jesus (as) -- i.e. asking Jesus(as) for things, thanking him for things, praying to him, making him the creator of the earth, just basically making him all around more important than God. I just couldn't do that.
As far as what I learned in Sunday school, I was a kid. I stopped being Christian when I was 18, learned about Islam at 18 and a half, became muslim when I was 20.
Hope that helps
