Quote:The Greek poet Homer was blind, and therefore couldn't read or write. Yet, he wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey, two of the world's most famous pieces of literature.
Does this prove that Homer was a prophet?
But who said Mohammed being illiterate proves he is a Prophet. No one said that you moron, you simply are uncomfortable with the fact that he was Illiterate for your own pathetic reasons. The biggest or one of the biggest and best biographies on the Prophet (Peace be upon him), a first prize winner book in a huge competition in Mekkah Al-Makurramah "The Sealed Nectar" doesn't even mention the Prophet is Illiterate, or if they do it's no more than once because i haven't seen it. I'm reading it now right near the end and to my knowledge it hasn't been mentioned at all.
So why imply Muslims think he is a Prophet because he was illiterate, when it's not even mentioned in one of the biggest and most popular Biographies on him that won first prize in a competition judged by highly qualified scholars and judges who would obviously be bias toward Islam and want a bio (no doubt you would think)with as many positive things about the Prophet (Peace be upon him) as possible an illiterate being "the source" of the Qur'an a fairly important thing to note. But it's not even in there. Because even though it was true, Muslims don't need this as proof, when will it get through your skulls.
I personally find it amusing seeing how it frustrates Christians and others that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) was Illiterate. But it's not what convinced me he was the final messanger of God. So the above quote is just another excuse to have another dig. Honestly who are you people? Where are the nice smiling friendly Christians you see on the "God" channel?
