If Iman is as you said "Iman means to accept truthfully, to be convinced, to verify something, to rely upon or have confidence in something", then by this can non-muslims have Iman? Because a christian and a jew can say they have all the above too.
Also, you said that "According to the Quran, Iman is conviction which is based upon reason and knowledge..." but above you say to rely or have confidence which is not the same as conviction. One cannot rely upon information given from his/her parents to believe in Allah, nor to say I have confidence that Allah is Al-Khaliq etc would be incorrect.
