And I agree children are a blessing , AND they also pressure you sabr a lot - depending on age -

lol UmmZachariah thats so true, I am very familiar with their Inquisitiveness! The more they ask the more their minds broaden as they learn mashaAllah, but somehow they never get tired of coming up with a new question


My friend is pregnant she's due towards the end of Ramadan InshaAllah, she has a 4 year old daughter who keeps asking her how she got pregnant, and she just says: Allah put the Baby in my tummy, then she asks her again, so mom when will Allah put a baby in my tummy? and her mother goes: when you get married inshaAllah. But mom when is that? Whenever Allah makes that possible inshaAllah. Is that when I have grown up like you mom? Yes InshaAllah.


Of course that little one kept the conversation going Yesterday lol It didn't stop there!

and at the same time it is such a great responsibility to lead them right. By the guidance of Allah, SWT we will help them become righteous and responsible Muslims, insha'Allah.

I bet it is Sister, I truly believe in order to raise good muslims, the parent needs to be a good example. Of course guidence comes only from Allah, and many times we see very righteous parents who are mashaAllah very blessed with Allahs guidence and their children go astray. You also see Parents who are the worst example for a little-innocent muslim who is in their care, and that little child grows up to be the exact opposite of what he/she had seen from their parents. I have always wondered how that happens, how some parents do much endless efforts to provide their children with the best islamic upbringing and education and the child goes astray. I have often seen/heard muslims Criticising The Walideen (parents) of a person who went astray, by saying: They didn't raise him/her right, oh look this just an example of a bad upbringing. And then they think that they are safe from corruption because they have children who are good muslims. I find that sad subhanAllah. Allah guides whom he wills. It is fearful not knowing what the future might bring but there is no better way to be prepared for that, then by putting our trust in Allah subhana Wa'Ta'ala.
