First, illiterate is not the one who can`nt read or write because he is blind ,this one can use his ears and his tongue to read and write with the help of the others.The
illiterate is this person who has the ability to read and write but he did`nt know.
Secondly,being Muhammed (pbuh)illiterate is a prove that he did`nt write the Quran by himself.The content of the Quran is the prove that the Quran is from Allah and no one can write,some try to write like Mosaelama alkazzab but where is this trial now.Look to the Illiad and Odyssey,yes it is two of the greatest works of literature in the history of the world,but there are many works like these works or may be greatest.

Obviously, your logic is flawed. Like Homer, couldn't Mohammad also use his ears and tongue? Therefore, couldn't Mohammad also read and write with the help of others?
If anything, Mohammad had a major advantage over Homer, since Mohammad could see and Homer couldn't.

Rock, I don't understand your recent posts. Are you claiming that you believe that Homer was an Islamic prophet, and that he was inspired by Allah? Do you believe that the Illiad and the Odyssey weren't written by Homer, but were really written by Allah???

Any how,for me Homr is the man who wrote the Illiad and the Odyssey and I accept what did you say"both the Illiad and the Odyssey are considered two of the greatest works of literature in the history of the world",no relation between Homer and Islam.

This what I think,if you understand something else,that is mean you understand me wrong or I explain my self wrong.
Beside I think there is no need to play with the words,all of us are need to ensure
