Quote:There are lots of new babies in my community as well... we had 3 a'qeeqahs during the last 2 weeks of Ramadan! SubhanAllah, Intuition is right, this is baby season [Image: tongue.gif]

lol Sister, You have no idea, I have only mentioned my friend and my sister, But there is more [Image: biggrin.gif] , only in my neighbourhood there are 6 pregnant women (I know of) there are more MashaAllah

The Ummah is growing~~~~~~~~~~ The more I am around pregnant Sisters, the more I want to become a mother~! [Image: wink.gif]

Quote:but I understand when a baby is born it is custom (sunnah?) to rub a softened date on his/her palate... the medical benefits of this have been confirmed,

Thats sunnah Sister you are quite right, the dates should actually be chewed for the new born, and that should be placed in the mouth of the baby. I have actually learned about this just a year ago. I Will search for the hadeeth and put it here.

lol Salam Radiyah, yes I would go for the football team if thats what you mean [Image: wink.gif]

I'd like to have whatever Allah gives me, but if I would be given the a choice I would want 6 sons, twins sounds nice. I even have the names all picked! [Image: biggrin.gif]

However My husband wants girls, he doesn't have any sisters, But I have 7 other sisters excluding me [Image: biggrin.gif] and two brothers. See where my passion for Boys comes from? I want to see more boys~! We have heaps and heaps of girls in my family. [Image: laugh.gif]

But the truth will always come down to the fact that all babies are a blessing from Allah be it a girl or a boy, everytime I am around my little nieces and nephews & cousins my heart melts [Image: wub.gif]
