Reasons For Wearing The Hijab
#21

Asalamalaykum To my brothers and sisters in islam and hi to John

John I think you have crossed the line this time, why do you need to insult and redicule people on a personal level [Image: sad.gif] ? Were you not the one who was preaching that " Islam has no free speech and equality" the other day and now you jump someone for saying what they want plus you attack them personaly. You need to get a grip and let others be for a change [Image: rolleyes.gif]. It´s one thing when you dont agree with someone but it´s a whole different story when you bad mouth and personaly attack Members, just because they share their opinion and what they want. That is very bad and rude so stop biting peoples head off just because they share their belief of a matter or their opinion.

Instead of attacking the person on a personal level, why don't you share your opinion & disagreement in a respectful manner, or is that a challenge for you?

One time you said that you have been married 10 years on a thread and a few days ago you were celebrating your 24th B'day how confusing is that! Not that I care or anything but I just found that odd.

Keep in mind that at times many of us don't like your opinions too but regardless we respect you and we don't offend you on a personal level, can you at least not do the same for us? and by all means if you can't do that then perhaps its best if you stay quiet.

You don't have to marry a woman with hijab, but don't attack our Brother for wanting to, simple.

thats my 2 cents......

Masalama

Assalamu aleikum sisters and brothers,

Since this topic was about THE REASONS for wearing the hijab you have all contributed well to that understanding. The important thing is that we all realize WHY we put it on. And so we have, alhamdullillah. The Muslim woman has both an outside part and and inside part to cover with her hijab. So this piece of textile is very important for both women and men.

And John, you still have to dig deeper into what lies behind the urge and need and wish for us to wear it and why we submit to wear it, since it is a decree given by Allah, SWT.

The reason given by non-Muslims is often that it is okej not to wear the hijab since she and she and she that is a Muslim does not wear it. But then one must bear in mind that it is THEIR own choice, for some reason or another not to wear it. It is not according to the wish of Allah, SWT. That is why it is also important for non-Muslims that want to understand the true teachings of Islam to go to the sources of it.

JohnDoe,

I don't only BELIEVE that Allah, SWT, gave me the right and liberty to wear it, I KNOW so. From the best Source there is.

I would not fully agree with you that women in a 'free society', I assume you mean the western 'equal' society when you say that? has the choice. There ARE examples when you cannot wear it. The latest in the row is France, that actually due to denying Muslim women to wear their hijab, are condemning them to be illiterate. IF they don't in exchange build private schools for these girls so that they ALSO can partake in the 'equal' system that gives EVERYONE the right so study on EQUAL rights. Yes, I know that is the thought, but Muslim girls are not equally judged anyway so there you have a BIG lack in the 'equal' 'free' society. It works great on the paper level but not in reality. When you have exceptions there is no equality.

I agree it is wrong to force anyone to wear the hijab. To wear it is a decision that comes out of true CONVICTION, it is a RESPONSIBILITY as well as a RIGHT to wear it, and it cannot be dictated by anyone else than Allah, SWT. So then it is a human problem, and man made laws is not the best.

If you by 'We can all be good human beings without having to subscribe to one doctrine.' mean that it is not so important if Muslim women wear the hijab or not, I can tell you that you are badly mistaken. First of all you are not a women, secondly you are not a Muslim, third you don't believe in the Qur'an and fourth you don't even think that you approve of Islam, so if you are trying to make this to a point that you perhaps understand this matter better, I think you just have to give up that thought. You just will not understand what we REALLY are talking about.

Just try to humble yourself a bit and try to admit to yourself, that you are not ready yet to comprehend this matter. For your own sake.

But as for this as well as all the other issues, it is always possible to be updated.

I'm not trying to prove you anything, but since you find it hard to comprehend I thought to let you know: That we muslim women remain chaste before we get married. You'd be very hard pressed to find a muslim girl who wears a hijab and is not chaste. Because we wear the Hijab out of fear from Allah, and stay chaste for own good will and for Allahs sake, so why would anyone wear the hijab and not fear Allah by not staying chaste? See it goes hand in hand. I know that in the world you live in you'd be hard pressed to find a 13 year old who is a virgin, so I for one would understand why you see this as a huge deal because its uncommon to you, it's odd and almost like something you have never seen before. Sad world, this is where a lack of islam has taken humanity and this world.

Being chaste is one of the most beautiful aspect that islam stresses and teaches to be followed.

Like my Sister UmmZachariah said You just will not understand what we REALLY are talking about

May Allah show him the light and get him out of his darkness, Allah is the hakeem. [Image: smile.gif]

By the way did I ever tell you all, That I really love you all For Allahs sake?

Love you FeesabiLiLah [Image: wub.gif]

I just needed to get that off my chest, who knows we might not make it to tomorrow.

One more point JD, u may disagree with all of us of course, since we dont speak the same language. We can understand u not accepting our faith.

But u can not go into personal insult the way u did. Much difference. This is the issue here. If u can do this good and well if not then let me know your decision.

Well I don't think he will give u an answer sister, he really has become a bit ill mannered these days with us [Image: dry.gif] and we are being patient and tolerant for the sake of Allah only, i hope he will stop that attack tone and start diffrenciating between actions of weak muslims and true Islam. If our arabic and muslim communities are ruled by Islamic sharia same it was on the day of prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and his sahaba, and the Khulafa' after him, then we will have the perfect society that has no problems or stealing or adultry or anything, because then they will be tied in Allah's love wanting to please him only, and not pleasing their own nafs and soul. Love for Allah is the main basis in our beleif if u love him and worship him the way he wants u to then u will be happy here and in the day after, and me as a woman if I wear it I wear it to please Allah no one forced me on the contrary when i first wore it my family was mad, did i care no I cared to please only My Creator, The One who gave me eye sight to c with The One who gave me ears to hear with The One who gave me hands to touch everyhing work with them and serve myself, The One who gave me all the blessings in the world if I try to count I cant sum them,

How can a building be created alone, or even a mere chair or table, if these are man made then how is the human who is most complicated in his structure popped out of nothing, or even a tree or a flower or any existing being.

Bismillah Al- Rahman Al-Raheem

9. And upon Allâh is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind).

10. He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture;

11. With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.

12. And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.

13. And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.

14. And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful.

15. And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.

16. And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.

17. Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?

18. And if you would count the graces of Allâh, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

19. And Allâh knows what you conceal and what you reveal. 16, Surat Al-Nahl

John stop being blind or hiding behind that complicated theories of yours and start thinking intelectually and scientifically, we are trying to show u the right way, if u do not want and u r not convinced, simply leave no need really to mock us and try to prove that islam is barbaric, we got your idea finish it is enough, u do not need to repeat yourself, it is either u want to learn or just peacfully leave.
