is it not funny that you christians always talk about peace, yet you guys were the cause of all the wars in the last century. we don't massacre 50000 people at a time. christianity is white mans religion that was enforced on so called "savages" of other nations. you say you will be judged for your sins, but did not jesus die for your sins? therefore christians can murder,rape,torture whoever they want and they will not be called to account because they have been forgiven! you got to be kidding me. why dont you go back into the history of christianity and certain ideas came about. for e.g. why do christians eat pork and muslims and jews dont? when the jews were being dispersed out of rome thr christians ,because of their hate of jews , wanted to make sure that the jews either converted or left. there were jews who converted just to show, but in their hearts they were still jews. when sunday came around ,at the church, a plate was set up with pork meat. everyone who came into church would have to eat a piece. but the jew wouldn't. there fore they got found out and appropriate measures would take place. because the jews followed the law, the hate of paul for the jews ,even though he was a jew before, made him do things opposite of the law. there are people in this world who hate islam ,love islam , curious about it ,fear it , but they all have sense of respect for it. yet the christians are the laughing stock of the world, even amongst the christians. nobody takes it seriously. it was thomas jefferson who said "there will come a time when the idea of son /god idea of christianity will be laughed about". he was making this statement in reference to another society or people that had this pagan idea in their culture.

I just had to highlight those sections there. As i said elsewhere when our time come to go, no second chances. I am 110% unshakably confident in my descicion, i see the signs solidly and most importantly i feel it. I been through the barrage of negative stuff early when i was a few weeks in as a Muslim, i came through that fine once i actually looked at the Qur'an as opposed to frustrated christian websites etc, i just went and looked for myself to the word of God. What's worrying is the word of God is available to read for free, for everybody...but they ignore it

That's not a nice thing to call us Muslims from the East. That "word" was use by Benjamin Franklin (one of the authors of US Constitution) for "American Jewry", when over 200 years ago he begged the "other Fathers" to keep the Jews out of US Constitution.

Clearly the curse directed at the snake is eternal, given this reference to future generations. And it is a curse as verse 14 says,

Now look at the sixteenth verse, the alleged "curse" of the woman. Do you see the word "curse" there anywhere? No, because it is not there. The woman was punished for her acts but not cursed.
On to Adam (Chapter 3, verses 17 -20). The word "cursed" appears in this section, right? Yes, but look at verse 17, "Cursed be the ground because of you." Not "Cursed be you." Big difference!
Adam was going to have to farm (work hard) for a living but absolutely no curse was applied to him directly. It didn't happen. Period.
So we don't have a curse? Wasn't the punishment eternal?
Check again. I've pointed out the reference to future generations in the curse of the snake. There is absolutely no reference to future generations in the punishments of Adam and Eve.

I do appologize for being here. I was looking for honest and direct answers about the muslim faith, but have only been insulted and called names by you.
Thank you to those who were kind and helpfull. This is not the furst place I have gone to look for real answers, and it wont be the last. I do feel bad though for the true followers of Alah, who are full of love and kindness. It makes it so much more difficult to defend and share Islam when there are people out there who claim they are Islam and slander people, hurt people and worse in the name of Alah.
My I dont think that Alah would call me a moron or some of the other hateful things that this Rehmat charechter has said to me.
Anyway, go ahead Rehmat and cuss me out or say I am stupid or whatever mean and hateful thing comes to mind (surly it wont be from ALAH but rather satan puttin gevil words in your mouth) I wont be around to read it.

I am not here to apologize on behalf of any one, but to talk to u. If u r here to learn about Islam, then just focus on this. If u started your journey of search, then dont let anyone put u off. Just dont bother about people's ideas, if u doing this for Allah u get rewarded. The Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam was called a magician and mad. Just focus on your goal and try to fulfill it.
This is my peace of advice to u, although I dont see myself fit for advice. And of course u other places to go to, u may still go and learn. Take in mind that a board of dicussion brings together different types of people. U may be exposed to them. Dont let this put u off.

I don't mean to badmouth you, but I don't think its right the way you speak to others. We are supposed to be kind and respectful, that is part of the islamic tarbiyah-(manners). Why do you call her a moron? Don't you know that Allah can guide her just as he guided me and you? Don't you know that Allah can bestow on her the honour to die as a muslim, and you as a kafir (god forbid)? Don't you know that your words are being recorded for you? If you truly fear Allah and want to spread his deen and fight the munafiqeen with your posts, then remember that your beloved Prophet (S.A.W) whom you proudly declare your shahada with encouraged compassion and sought to instil it deeply in the hearts of Muslims stating it was the key to Allah’s mercy. He said “Have mercy on those who are on earth so that the one who is in heaven will have mercy on you” (At-Tabarani) and “The one who does not show compassion will not be shown mercy” (Bukhari & Muslim).
I am not an alim or a scholar, but I know that this harsh attitude that many muslims have is not part of islam. Allah dislikes Kibr, Kibr is only for Allah.
Follow the footsteps of your own beautiful name (Rehmat) which means Mercy.

That is an unreasonable request to make. How long do you think paper lasts? Especially considering how far back we would need to go and the people back then did not have modern technologies to preserve them. You cannot even produce an original Quran. The original was written on various pages, sometimes stones, bones of animals, parchment, etc. For someone to have the “original”, they would have to have all of these separate pieces somewhere and I have never seen anyone claim this.

just to clarify a matter here, when ronniv is talking about an original Quran, she is referring to an original manuscript that is kept in Istanbul. Plus Iman we must take in consideration that any non muslim coming to an Islamic board does not believe the Quran is the word of Allah. We know that Alhamdulelah, that is why we must keep this much in mind while dealing with them. Not that we only focus on that, no but keep it in mind. U can not force them to believe. We can only do our duty just as Intuition said in her above post.
