Hello Brothers and Sisters
This is a very interesting subject, and I will apprecite everyone's input Muslim or Not
We all know that the Allah told Muslim Men to marry up to 4 AS LONG AS THE HUSBAND WILL BE 100% fair between all wives:
<b>“If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.”</b>
<b><i>[The Quran ; 4:3] </i></b>
<b></b>
-> This is the verse that allows Muslim men to marry up to 4 women, there is no other location in the Quran that talks about polygamy other than this verse. This is a very important verse in the Quran, a very detailed understanding is really required but please bear in mind that I read all the tafseer to it in Arabic many times by the following :
A) Ibn Kathir
B) Al Gallalin
C) Al Tabarri
D) Al Qurtuby
Clear in the verse that Allah said <b>“Marry Two or Three or Four”</b>, but that was as a solution to a problem, also the same verse stated to <b>“Mary Only One”</b> but again that was another solution to another problem,
-> If we look again on the English translation above, we can easily identify the two problems and the solutions told to us by Allah :
<b>I) The first problem:</b> <b>“If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans,”</b>
i.e “IF WE FEAR NOT TO BE ABLE TO DEAL JUSTLY WITH THE ORPHANS”, i did not add much the words are very clear indeed. the most important keyword in here is “<b>The Orphans</b>”
<b>The solution :</b> <b>“Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four”</b>
We can see easily see that the problem was about “<b>The Orphans</b>” and the solution was to marry “<b>Women</b>”
All the scholars interpreted this verse with difficulty; in fact many were a bit confused about it, please read all the tafseer by those top 4 great scholars.
<b>Their interpretation was briefly as follow:</b>
In the past men used to marry the Orphaned Women and not pay their dowries, obviously because they had no parents to take care of this condition and insist on it, so the scholars interpretation was, this verse tell them to marry up to four as a solution.
Come on brothers and sisters, this does not make any sense whatsoever.
First of all the verse was talking about a problem related to “<b>THE ORPHANS</b>”, <b>NOT </b>
to “<b>THE ORPHANED WOMEN</b>”, please read it again in both languages, but assuming this understanding that the verse is talking about “<b>THE ORPHANED WOMEN</b>” we will find easily that the proposed solution does not make sense,
if you fear not to pay the dowry to the Orphaned Women, Marry up to 4
logically speaking, I would say that it should be like this:
if you fear not to pay the dowry to the Orphaned Women, do not marry 4 (one is enough and you should still pay the dowry to her)
Am I right here brothers and sisters?
It seems the scholars got mixed up with another verse in the same sura, let’s have a look at it:
<b></b>
“They ask thy instruction concerning the women say: Allah doth instruct you about them: And (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed, and yet whom ye desire to marry
, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans
. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith.”
<b><i>[The Quran ; 4:127]</i></b>
<b> </b>
-> After reading this great verse in the same sura , the confusion arose in verse 3 has been cleared
-> It seems verse 3 is talking about a totally different thing, that RELATES TO THE ORPHANS in general, NOT to the ORPHANS OF WOMEN
-> The Quran clearly differentiated between the General Orphans and Orphans of women in this verse, can you see “<b>as also</b>” between the two?, it also clearly stated the problem of not paying the dowry
-> going back to verse 3 that allows Muslim men to marry up to 4:
<b></b>
“If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.”
<b><i>[The Quran ; 4:3]</i></b>
-> We all know that this verse was revealed after Uhud Battle, in which too many Muslim men died, most of those Muslim men left widows and children behind, it was very important for Allah to provide a solution regarding the care of those orphans, especially their fathers died for the cause of Islam, while I will agree that any capable man can take any oath to help any orphan, possibly by paying a certain amount of money per month to his/her mother, but again what guarantee that this kind man will continue to do as such until the orphaned children grow independent?, there is no guarantee for sure, possibly in a month I forgot, or I went away for a few months, or I prefer my children to have the money this month, etc etc, we are humans not Angels, and truly I may take an oath to help a poor orphan but I may fear that I may forget this help at a certain time under certain circumstances, the most legitimate way to show my sincere desire to help the orphans “<b>the most in need</b>” and defeat my fear to not to deal with them justly is to marry their mother “<b>the second most in need</b>”, in fact that was a commo practise in Egypt, when a borther dies and leave a wife and children, one of his other brothers marry his sister in law "even if he was married" to take care of his brother chidlren, I'm sure that was inherited when the polygamy was Islamicaly and morally practised in the past
I can not believe that for those many years Muslims thought a man after getting bored with his wife just go and marry up to four, this is ridiculous and is so unfair for women, especially they may also get bored with their husbands, while the two still continue to love each other,
I can see easily the effect of this flawed understanding in many families including members in my family who resorted to this flawed understanding without putting any amount of reasonable and logical thoughts regarding it and just following what was said as long as it is in their favour, if man simply wants to marry another woman to satisfy a lust then sure this most likely will end in an undesirable outcome regarding both families I reckon, I have seen many examples in life in my country of origin Egypt.
We can see that the Quran stresses the care for orphans big times in many locations, and this makes great sense because the children if raised properly, many future problem regarding their nature, their belief, and their integrity can be avoided, it is a lesson from Allah to show us how extreme we can take it by marrying their mother, as long as the main objective is to help the orphans and raise them properly and to demolish the fear not to treat the orphans unjustly.
But sure this solution will cause another problem and because Allah is the All Knowing and All Just, He can’t not leave it unresolved especially He is the one to create the solution:
<b>II) The second problem:</b> <b>“but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one”</b>
i.e “IF WE FEAR NOT TO BE ABLE TO DEAL JUSTLY WITH THE MULTIPLE WIVES”
Again can’t be straighter than this indeed.
<b>The solution :</b> <b>then only one</b>
The solution sounds more of an order to me, because Allah will not just consider the orphans and careless about the first wife or wives if the husband wanted to care for more orphans, Allah is always just and because He provided the solution, and He knows us very well, He knows that the solution will have side effects, the main side effect will be the jealousy between the wives "we have seen even examples between the prophet wives sura "Al Tahrim", this well sure lead to unjust treatment from the husband towards his wives, but again how many men thought about this before marrying another woman?
Well if you marry another woman for lust, I bet you will never think about fearing to not to be fair between them
But of you marry another woman for caring for her orphaned children then I bet the thought will come to mind regarding the first wife, <b>make sense to anyone?</b>
We also need to ask?, why 4?, why not 6? Why not 10?
I asked myself these questions after seeing how the Quran stressed it : <b>“Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four” </b>
Certainly a man can marry more than 4, we have known about prophets marrying hundreds, and sure normal humans who married hundreds
If it was for lust reason, then there should not be an upper limit, but if it was permitted JUST for the care of the orphans then an upper limit may logically be for a reason, because if each woman has one orphan then that is 4 orphans to care for, if each has 2 then that is 8 to care for and as the number or orphans that each woman increases, the total number for the orphans to care for will be huge, adding to that my own children for sure, but working on an average the number 4 will make great sense if the average is 2 from each wife, so the upper limit is required because the polygamy reason is to care for as many orphans from a max of 4 wives with orphans, not to have a climate change with another wife
We can also see how Allah was very accurate in delivering His solution by including these words “<b>of your choice</b>”, which simply means I still have to look at their mother and see if she will be a good wife, not because I want to care for her orphans I will be locked up with a horrible woman “<b>if she is</b>”, i.e. I must have a choice and evaluation to the mother of those orphans
Very great teaching from Allah, He is considering every bit of details, He is being fair with the Orphans, He is being fair with the Husbands by allowing them to make a choice and cosider the women as wives, and He is fair with all wives by telling us to MUST deal justly with them all, the last bit in this very important verse may give the inclination that Allah is talking about marrying women with orphans , not single women, let’s look at it:
<b>“that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. “</b>
i.e if we fear not to treat the multiple wives justly then we <b>SHOULD MARRY ONLY ONE</b> because that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.
The last words were translated wrong actually, while it may sound ok and logical as that is the ultimate objective is <b>NOT TO DO INJUSTICE</b>, the arabic words were totally different: “<b>ZALEK ADNA ALA TA’OOLO</b>”, truly it does not mean what was translated by Yusuf Ali, in fact it is striking to see what it means in Arabic, I’m sure all Arabic speakers know what the word “<b>TA’OOLO</b>” means, it clearly means that you have “<b>Eial</b>” “<b>Children</b>” to care for, again please look at the tafsir and see how it was hard for them to find out what it means, some said it means “<b>Lean to another direction</b>” “<b>Tamil</b>” again they based their understanding on another verse on the same sura that the word "<b>Tamil</b>" was used, some suggested it means "<b>to do injustice</b>”, in fact the arabic word is a very common word that means have plenty of “<b>Eial</b>” to care for, “<b>TA’OOLO</b>” or to have plenty of "<b>Dependants</b>"
i.e. it is better to marry one wife than marrying many while being unjust with them and have plenty of children to care for, because it was assumed that the husband intension of the multiple marriage is to care for another “<b>Eial</b>”, “<b>children</b>” not to change the life style by marrying another woman
What is left for me to discuss is Allah did not leave to men to judge if they will be fair between the ,multiple wives or not, because simply men can mislead themselves that they will do so but in reality it can’t happen so Allah can’t leave this without mentioning because He knows us best, let’s read it from the same sura:
<b></b>
“Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire: But turn not away (from a woman) altogether, so as to leave her (as it were) hanging (in the air). If ye come to a friendly understanding, and practise self-restraint, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”
<b><i>[The Quran ; 4:129]</i></b>
<b> </b>
-> Very straight teachings from the Quran men just can’t be fair between women : <b>"Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women"</b>, but look what the Quran said after : <b>"even if it is your ardent desire"</b>, i.e men may mislead themselves to think they will be capable to be fair between multiple wives, and because we know it can’t happen then <b>marry only one</b> exactly as the Quran stated word for word
Again I dicsussed this findings by many msulims in australia, a mufti on a sunni forum and an ex muslim who lives in the UK and I'm trying to get him back to the right oath inshaallah, and a muslim in egypt who already marrying to 2
ironically I ended up with 5 understandings:
1) the one I explained above
2) another one from the mufti
3) another one from the plogymous egyotain
4) the one we have from the tafsir regarding the dowry
5) another one from an Islamic forum for muslim sisters
this is really funny and will be the subject of my following comments inshaallah
please add your thoughts
Peace to all

The Glorious Quran by its Author |

Peace to everyone,
I would like to show to everyone what Allah is telling us about His Quran, it is very important to know what the Author of any book says about his/her book, we will see clearly there is nothing like Allah’s words, we will also see that the Quran was designed to be easy for remembrance, Allah is responsible for collecting it, guarding it and explaining it, and because it was planned to be the last warning before the Judgment Day, Allah has included all types or parables in it :
<b></b>
“And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?”
<i>[The Quran , 54: 17 ; 22 ; 32 ; 40 ]</i>
<b> </b>
-> In this sura no. 17 the Quran repeated this sentence 4 times in verses 17,22,32,40, indeed Allah has made the Quran easy to understand and remember :<b>” And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember”</b>, then He is reminding us :<b>” then is there any that will receive admonition?</b>, obviously four times mentioning this information highlight the importance of this information.
<b></b>
”Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.”
<i>[The Quran , 44:58]</i>
<b> </b>
-> Another verse that confirm that Allah has made the Quran easy on Mohammad (pbuh) tongue, despite Mohammad (pbuh) lacked the knowledge of reading and writing:<b>” Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue,”</b> so the prophet will deliver the Quran to :<b>” , in order that they may give heed.”</b>, so we can understand that the Quran was the only source used by the prophet to deliver Allah message.
<b> </b>
”So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.”
<i>[The Quran , 19:97]</i>
<b> </b>
-> Same info in this verse regarding the prophet learning and understanding the Quran: <b>” So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue”</b>, then the prophet will use the Quran to :<b>” that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.</b>,
<b></b>
”For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.”
<i>[The Quran , 7:52]</i>
<b> </b>
-> In this verse it is clear that Allah sent us the Quran, as well Allah explained it in details because it is the guide and mercy to all believers:<b>” For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.”</b>, clear as light that Allah explained his book within itself , i.e. the Quran explains itself. As well many other verses were explained by the prophet as inspired by Allah. Other devote Muslims can also discover the meanings with the help of Allah.
<b></b>
”Then what HADITH, after the Quran, will they believe in?”
<i>[The Quran , 77:50]</i>
<b> </b>
-> This an important verse, as it shows us that Allah is asking what other <b>HADITH</b> other than the Quran will make people believes?, sure NONE, including the hadith of the prophet Mohammad (pbuh)and the hadith Qudsi, the Arabic word used to describe the Quran was “HADITH” the same word we use for the prophet saying, because the Arabic word “HADITH” means “TALK” or “SPEECH”, so we have 2 different Hadiths:
A-) Hadith by Allah “The Quran”
B-) Hadith by Mohammad “The Prophet (pbuh) Sayings”
Well it is very easy to find the major differences between them:
A-) is by Allah “A Creator”, reserved by Allah “A Creator” and never been changed.
B-) is by Mohammad (pbuh) “A Human”, never been reserved accurately, and many fabricated ones by the enemy of Islam been invented.
It is very easy to see which hadith of the above is Holy and which is not.
<b></b>
”Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,-“
<i>[The Quran , 2:159]</i>
<b> </b>
-> In here we can see, Allah is warning the people who conceal “hide” the guidance after He made this guidance clear for the people in the Quran:<b>” Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,”</b>and the punishment is :<b>” on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,”</b>, it is clear that Allah is telling us tat all the Guidance is made clear in the Quran. ” after We have made it clear for the people in the Book”
<b></b>
”And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy:”
<i>[The Quran , 6:155]</i>
<b> </b>
-> Allah is telling us in this verse that the Quran is a blessing and WE MUST FOLLOW IT:<b>” And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous”</b>, and for the people who will follow it: <b>” that ye may receive mercy:”</b>
<b>To be continued.......

Does the Quran talks about the Terrorists? |

Peace to everyone,
Last Ramadan with the help of Allah 'swt' I discovered an amazing fact in the Quran, I dicovered that it talks about the terrorists and their attrocities in its second page, I see this as a miracle, please be patient with me and give me a chance to explain
We all know that the Quran is divided into 114 Suras “Chapters”
The first Sura is called “<b>Al-Fataha</b>”, like “<b>Introduction</b>” and is only 7 verses, the second Sura starting at page 2 is called “<b>Al-Baqara</b>”, which means “<b>The Cow</b>”, this is actually the longest Sura in the Quran and consists of 286 verses, this Sura has plenty of information regarding many things like humankind history on earth, explaining who is our One and only God “<b>Allah</b>”, and sure the story of Adam and Eve and many more, what is striking in this Sura is verses 2 to 20, in these verses Allah is telling us about 3 groups of people similar to a passage in the Bible, however the Quran was clear as light in the descriptions of these groups of people, in fact the Quran is always clear as light inabout 95% of its contents, it was designed this way as stated in it numerous times, so let’s start by looking what the Quran said about these 3 groups of people, all the verses mentioned are [<b>The Quran ; 2:2-20</b>]
<b>The first Group – verses 2:2-5 – The Believers</b>
<b>(2) “This is the Book (The Quran); in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;”
</b>
(3) “Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;”
(4) “And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.”
(5) “They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.”
<b>The believers descriptions is very clear, extracted from the above verses as follow:</b>
Verse 2: <b>“This is the Book (The Quran); in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;”,</b> i.e the Quran is their guidance and they fear Allah.
Verse 3: <b>“Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;”</b>, i.e they believe in the UNSEEN, they are steadfast in prayer and they give money to the poor and needy.
Verse 4: <b>“And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.”</b>, i.e they believe in the Quran, they believe in all previous inspirations, and they have the assurance of the hereafter.
Verse 5:<b> “They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.”</b>, i.e they follow the and unchanged guidance and they are the ones that will prosper.
<b>The second Group – verses 6-7 – The Unbelievers</b>
<b>(6) “As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.”
</b>
(7) “Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).”
-> The unbelievers descriptions are very clear as well, extracted from the above verses as follow:
Verse 6: <b>“As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.”</b>. i.e. They reject faith (<b>rejected the Quran</b>), they will never believe wether they are warned or not.
Verse 7:<b>“Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).”</b>, i.e. they have seals on their hearts and hearings set upon by Allah as a result of their arrogance, they have also veils over they eyes, and they will incur a great punishment for their arrogance, this seal and veil set by Allah are actually explain why these unbelievers will not believe wether they are warned or not as stated in verse 6, it is like they have been cursed by Allah due to their arrogance and their biased hearts and minds.
<b>The third Group – verses 2:8-20 – The Terrorists</b>
I will walk you through it verse by verse here man while extracting the terrorists decriptions, to make it as clear as possible:
<b>(8) “Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.”
</b>
-> i.e. They say they believe in Allah and the Last Day, BUT they do not really believe.
<b>(9) “Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!”
</b>
-> i.e. They deceive Allah and they deceive the believers (the first group), but they actually deceive themselves and they <b>DO NOT REALISE THEIR SELF DECEPTION</b>, this is clear as light that those thugs deceive Allah, now please tell me, what more deception to Allah than beheading an innocent man while cheering with Allah’s name?, as well, can you see that those thugs deceive the believers as well as stated. This can happen in two ways as we we see it now, deception to all believers by misleading the whole world and showing the innocent religion as a barbaric one, as well trying to recruit the young believers and convince them by deception to commit atrocities by strapping bombs around them and blow away any innocent human in the vicinity, well, the Quran told us in this verse that the terrorists only deceive themselves and they do not realise it.
<b>(10) “In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).”
</b>
-> i.e. Their hearts is full of diseases, this is a perfect and accurate description about the terrorists, what sort of ill heart a person have to behead or order to behead an innocent man?, well a very sick heart for sure, this heart sickness is increased by Allah because of their submission to Satan, it is like Allah will make them commit more crimes so <b>THE GRIEVOUS IS THE PENALTY THEY INCUR</b> because they are <b>FALSE TO THEMSELVES</b>, what an accuracy in describing those thugs, still more to follow.
<b>(11) “When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we are the ones who make things right!"
</b>
-> i.e. When we call those thugs to stop their atrocities and the mischief on earth they commit, they respond by saying that they are the ones who are doing things right, another perfect description about the terrorists.
<b>(12) “Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.”
</b>
-> i.e. Allah is telling us not to believe those thugs (who claimed they are the ones who are doings things right) by confirming to us that they are indeed “<b>surety</b>” the ones who are making mischief on earth and still do not realise it, perfect description again.
<b>(13) “When it is said to them: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.”
</b>
-> i.e. Those thugs were called to believe as the normal believers believe (<b>the first group</b>) but they respond by saying that the normal believers are fool, and Allah is telling us that indeed “<b>surety</b>” they are the real fools and they still do not know it.
<b>(14) “When they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe;" but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say: "We are really with you: We (were) only jesting."
</b>
-> i.e. Some of those thugs pray with us in the mosques showing that they are believers “those are the unknown recruited ones”, but when they meet the leaders in hiding “their evil ones” they say they were only jesting them (the believers), I see the evil ones as the known terrorists leaders like Laden and Zarqawi, the evil ones can also be the "Kareen" that Allah has assigned for each one of them.
<b>(15) “Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro).”
</b>
-> i.e. Allah is very angry with those thugs and consequently this what must happen: Allah will throw back their mockery on them, He will give them rope in their trespasses and they will wander like blinds.
<b>(16) “These are they who have bartered Guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction,”
</b>
-> i.e. Those terrorists who took error in place of guidance, and their traffic is profitless (think about the ransoms they asked for the kidnapping or possibly their drug dealing in Afganistan” and they indeed lost the true direction.
<b>(17) “Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in utter darkness. So they could not see.”
</b>
-> i.e. Allah is giving us a similitude of those thugs of someone who lit a light, then the light lighted all around him and suddenly Allah will take their light away and leave them in darkness, well I see this verse as saying that those thugs will succeed in some of their sick atrocities ”<b>it lighted all around him</b>” but the bottom line is their final destination is indeed going to be darkness.
<b>(18) “Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path).”
</b>
-> i.e. They are Deaf, Dumb and Blind, indeed the verse is telling us that they will not return to the right path, another perfect descriptions.
<b>(19) “Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!”
</b>
-> This verse really stroke me hard when I read the Eglish translation by Yusuf Ali. It is giving another similitude about the terrorists, the similitude is like them walking in darkness while there is thunder rain and lighting, and those thugs are too scared from this hostile environment and they keep pressing their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder clap while they are in terror of death, mates, this is like them being bombarded by the allies B52s, what do you think?
<b>BUT WHAT STRIKE ME MORE IS THE WORD </b>“<b>LADEN</b>” in the sentence “<b>is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky</b>” as translated by Yusuf Ali, sure I know that the verse is not talking about Bin Laden, but what an amazing coincidence that is for the English readers, I actually laughed when I noticed, I love the Quran, how accurate it is under any circumstances.
<b>(20) “The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.”
</b>
-> This is the rest of the similitude started in verse 19, it shows how this hostile environment will destroy the terrorists.
Ok brothers and sisters, this is very accurate stuff and very explicit to the terrorists and in the Quran first page, when I discussed this with all the muslims I know, most agreed and some tried to tell me that it talks about the the hypocrites "Al Monafiqoon", the problem here will be that the Quran is never shy to call the Hypocrites "Hypocrites", in fact there is a whole sura called "The Hypocrites", this is sure consist of 11 verses, in 8 of those verses the Quran talks about the Hypocrites and call them Hypocrites 4 times, while in the 13 verses 2:8:20, it never used the word Hupocrite to describe them, as well you do not call a hypocrite to believe as the others believe because a hypocrite is already showing that he is a believer.
This is yet another example of the miracle of the Quran, it describes life as we see at any generation.
Please let me know your thoughts about the above
Thanks for reading

Azaan around the world |

Amazing as it sounds, but fortunately for the Muslims of the
world, it is an established fact.
Have a look at a map of the world and you will find Indonesia on
the eastern side of the earth. The major cities of Indonesia are Java,
Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil. As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil,
at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajar Aazaan begins.
Thousands of Muazzins in Indonesia begin reciting the Aazaan.
The process advances towards West Indonesia. One and a half hours
after the Aazaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta. Sumatra
then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Aazaan
ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia.
Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its beginning in
Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of Bangladesh. After Bangladesh,
it has already prevailed in western India, from Calcutta to Srinagar.It
then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India
resounds with this proclamation. Srinagar and Sialkot (a north city in Pakistan)
have the same timing for Aazaan. The time difference between Sialkot,
Quetta, and Karachi is forty minutes, and within this time,Fajar Aazaan is
heard throughout Pakistan. Before it ends there, it has already begun in
Afghanistan and Muscat. The time difference between Muscat and
Baghdad is one hour.
Aazaan resounds during this one hour in the environments
of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen,
United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq.
The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is
again one hour. Aazaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and
Sudan during this hour. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey
is one and a half hours, and during this time it is echoed with the call to
prayer.
Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya) are located at one
hour's difference. The process of calling Aazaan thus continues
throughout the whole of Africa. Therefore, the proclamation of the "Tawheed" and
"Risaalat" that had begun in Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the
Atlantic Ocean after nine and half hours. Prior to the Aazaan reaching the shores
of the Atlantic, the process of "Zohar Aazaan" has already started in
east Indonesia, and before it reaches Dacca, "Asr Aazaan" has started.
This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, the time of
"Maghrib" becomes due, and no sooner has "Maghrib" time reached Sumatra,the
time for calling "Isha Aazaan" has commenced in Saibil!
When the Muazzins of Indonesia are calling out "Fajar Aazaan", the
African Muazzins are calling the Aazaan for Isha.
If we were to ponder over this phenomenon thoughtfully, we would
conclude the amazing fact that there is not even a single moment when
hundreds of thousands of Muazzins around the world are not reciting the Aazaan
on the surface of this earth. Even as you read this material right now,
you can be sure there are atleast thousands of people who are hearing and
reciting the Aazaan!!!

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
"By Time. Verily man is in a state of loss. Except those who believe and do good actions and aid one another in Truth and Patience."
Assalaamu 'aleykum waRahmatullahi waBarakaatuh,
I hope this message reaches you in the high state of health and eeman inshaAllah.
Brothers and sisters of Islaam, we have a difficult situation at our hands. The local library in Ilford (LONDON) currently has Islaamic books from the Shi'a, Sufi and Ahmadiyya sources which are not really giving an authentic view of Islaam to the muslims (Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'aah) that use the library let alone the non-muslims.
We are requesting they provide more authentic books that represent the true teachings of this great Deen.
Islam commands us to take action to command the good and forbid the evil. Please take the time to sign the petition to support our efforts and inshaAllah we will make a difference. The online petition can be found at:
http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/auth...mic_books/
Ive attached to this email a more detailed explanation of the situation at hand including examples of the books which make this petition necessary and of utmost importance. Also, there is a PETITION FORM attached.If you are able to, please print it out and get as many signatures on it as possible. I will arrange to collect it from you inshaAllaah. If you need any further information about this, please feel free to contact me at:

An Open Letter to the Secretary of State for Education
The British Government is planning to make it easier to schools to “opt in” to the state sector. This would allow more minority faith schools to recieve state funding. The Association of Muslim schools received £100,000 from the British government to make the transition smoother for more of the 120 independent Muslim schools. Muslim children in state schools feel isolated and confused about who they are. This can cause dissatisfaction and lead them into criminality, and the lack of a true understanding of Islam can ultimately make them more susceptible to the teachings of fundamentalists like Christians during the middle ages and Jews in recent times in Palestine. Fundamentalism is nothing to do with Islam and Muslim; you are either a Muslim or a non-Muslim.
97% of Muslim pupils are in state schools. There are hundreds of state schools where Muslim pupils are in majority. In my opinion all such schools may be converted to Muslim community schools, manage and control by Muslim educational Trusts or Charities. State funded Muslim schools make sense. This mean the Muslim children will get a decent education. Muslim schools turned out balanced citizens, more tolerant of others and less likely to succumb to criminality or extremism. Muslim schools give young people confidence in who they are and an understanding of Islam’s teaching of tolerance and respect which prepares them for a positive and fulfilling role in society. None of the British Muslims convicted following the riots in Bradford and Oldham in 2001 or any of those linked to the London bombings had been to Islamic schools. An American Think Tank studied the educational back ground of 300 Jihadists; none of them were educated in Pakistani Madrasas. They were all Western educated by non-Muslim teachers. Bilingual Muslim children need bilingual Muslim teachers as role models.
The national school systems of social democratic countries such as Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark are based on the principle that children can choose schools in either the state or independent sector funded by the taxpayers. CRE chairman stepped up his campaign to segregate black school boys to raise their academic achievement. A Cambridge University study found that single-sex classes could make a big difference for boys. They perform better in single-sex classes. The research is promising because male students in the study saw noticeable gains in the grades. The study confirms the Islamic notion that academic achievement is better in single-sex classes.
