Establishing Sallah means having spiritual connection with Allah and observing Him in the heart, as the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said: -- ''There is no Sallah without the presence of heart (before Allah)''
In Sallah with presence of heart, our organs are busy in bowing and prostrating, the tongue will be reciting the Qur'an but the heart is engrossed in the remembrance and vision of Allah.]]> Verse/ayat number 14 of chapter 20 of the Holy Qur'an, Surat Ta-Ha reads: --
''VERILY, I AM GOD:
THERE IS NO god BUT I
SO, SERVE ME (only), AND ESTABLISH REGULAR (Sallah)

''Say: O My servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not
of the Mercy of Allah, for Allah forgives all sins for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful''. (39:53)
If you have transgressed the limits on yourself with sins, as the verse/ayat says.... Allah is telling His Messenger, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, to inform us not to lose hope -- laa taqnatoo min rahmatullah -- do not despair of Allah's Mercy! Repent, seek His Forgiveness with lots of Istighfar.... Innallah yaghfiru zunooba jamee'aan.... Verily, Allah forgives all sins.
Ya-Ghafoor Ya-Ghafoor... Ya-Afoow. Allah likes His Servants to ask for forgiveness every moment in their life.
And we should have good thoughts and expectations that He, Azza Wa-Jallah, will indeed forgive us. In a Hadith-Qudsi, He said: --
''Ana 'inda husni zhanna 'abdee bee... I am according to My servant's good thoughts of Me.'' (Bayhaqi)
In view of this, whenever you have good thoughts, you will be saved and Allah will forgive you. If you have doubts, be careful as you cannot play here: either you have 100 per cent belief or you have shaky belief, the Heaven Balance can check it.
If we commit sin(s), we should immediately repent, seek Allah's forgiveness with a sincere heart and intention not to go back to such sins... and we will find Him Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.]]> In ayat 53 of Surat Zumar of the Holy Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala says: --

We often tend to forget the importance of the simple, yet powerful du'a.... supplication of Istighfar... that is the saying or reciting of astaghfirullah....astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness of Allah).
Some of its values are:: --
(1) Istghfar removes anxiety and with it, your du'a are answered.
(2) It opens the door of sustenance, mercy and knowledge.
(3) Reciting of astaghfirullah....astaghfirullah...astaghfirullah.... helps us to calm ourselves and wipes out variety of worldly worries from our body/mind.
Abdullahi ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said: -
''If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out
of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him
from where he expects not.'' (Abu Dawud)
In view of this, we should include lots of Istighfar (may be 100 times or more), in our daily Zikr when we sit to remember Allah Ta'ala every morning and evening.

Many people across Egypt recently felt an earthquake that caused concern and anxiety. According to the official preliminary reports, no major casualties or widespread damage were recorded. We ask Allah to protect Egypt and all Muslim lands from every harm.

While Muslims appreciate the scientific explanations behind natural phenomena, we also remember the spiritual lessons that the Qur'an and the Sunnah teach us. Such events are not merely geological occurrences; they are among the signs of Allah that remind us of our weakness and our constant need for Him.

Allah, the Exalted, says:

Quote:"And We send not the signs except as a warning."
(Qur'an 17:59)

He also says:

Quote:"And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him."
(Qur'an 74:31)

The Prophet ﷺ informed us that an increase in earthquakes would be one of the signs of the approaching Hour. He said:

Quote:"The Hour will not be established until... earthquakes become frequent."
(Sahih al-Bukhari)

It is also authentically reported that an earthquake occurred in Madinah during the caliphate of 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). He addressed the people, reminded them to fear Allah, and said:

Quote:"If it happens again, I will not remain among you."

Quote:"And We send not the signs except as a warning."
(Qur'an 17:59)

He also says:

Quote:"And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him."
(Qur'an 74:31)

The Prophet ﷺ informed us that an increase in earthquakes would be one of the signs of the approaching Hour. He said:

The righteous predecessors viewed such events as occasions for self-reflection rather than mere headlines. They would examine themselves, increase in repentance, seek Allah's forgiveness, and renew their obedience to Him.

Earthquakes remind us of the fragility of human life. No matter how advanced our engineering, technology, or economies become, mankind remains powerless before the decree of Allah. Entire cities have been reduced to ruins within moments, and countless people have left their homes without realizing those would be the final moments of their lives.

At the same time, we should be careful not to claim that any particular earthquake is a specific punishment upon a certain people. Such judgments belong to the unseen knowledge of Allah alone. What we can say with certainty is that these events are among the signs by which Allah reminds and warns His creation, calling them to repentance and to return to Him.

Let these moments inspire us to renew our faith, increase our remembrance of Allah, seek His forgiveness, uphold our prayers, restore people's rights, and prepare for the Day when every soul will stand before its Lord.

We ask Allah to protect Egypt and all nations from earthquakes, trials, and every calamity, and to make these signs a means for people to return to Him with sincere repentance.
