Quote:Shame on us, shame on the whole Muslim Ummah.
Bismillah
I would not say it is a shame on the ummah as the Ummah is sincere and as Rasool (saw) said that there will be goodness in my Ummah until yawm-ul-qiyamah. This is a noble Ummah, a generous Ummah and an Ummah which is the best Ummah sent to mankind.
Also, the ummah is feeling the pain of all the muslim brothers and sisters suffering as Rasool (saw) said;
All Muslims are like a single body, if one part is hurt the whole body feels the pain and comes to its aide.
What the ummah lacks is the leadership to direct it in the right direction in accordance with Islam.
The Ummah is beginning to wake up and is smelling what is being cooked up for them in terms of deception and conspiracies etc.
The Ummah is pointing the finger of blame on the leaders which are in power for staying silent as silent is consent in Islam. Also the Ummah is asking why are our armies in their barracks polishing their shoes and guns whilst the dead bodies of muslims are being eaten by dogs on the streets.
We as an Ummah who have the truth should also realise why the fighting in Lebanon and Gaza has taken place.
The US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice described the war between Hezbollah in Lebanon and israel as part of “birth pangs of a new Middle East”. She dismissed the persistent calls for an immediate ceasefire describing it as a “false promise if the root causes of the conflict are not addressed. She added: “An immediate ceasefire without political conditions does not make sense.” The statements made by Bush and Bolton among other American officials, in addition to European and Arab officials, blamed Hezbollah for starting the war and justified “Israel’s” right to retaliate. It was even sensed that the statements made by American officials in particular were encouraging the “Israelis” towards waging war on Hezbollah and Lebanon.
As for the reality of the ongoing war, America realised, while endeavouring to execute her “Greater Middle East Initiative”, which necessitates reshaping the Muslims’ lands culturally and politically under the theme of reforms, that it was imperative to work towards settling the issue of Palestine in order to forge ahead with her reforms according to what she had planned, and that the Jews constituted an insurmountable obstacle in the face of the solution. Despite what Sharon had achieved in terms of dismantling the Gaza settlements, erecting the security fence to act as the initial borders for the state of israel, taming the rightwing and establishing the Kadima party on the embers of the Likud, his illness however failed to provide the newly formed Kadima party with an adequate success in the general elections enabling it to form the government either single-handedly or in coalition with the Labour party. This made Olmert susceptible to the blackmail of the smaller parties and he was forced to include several parties in his current government. Some observers mentioned that the omens of a split with the Kadima were looming large on the horizon. This would enhance the ability of the israeli rightwing to impede any agreements. This split would herald the possible return of the israeli public opinion intransigence and its reluctance to make any concessions, especially in the absence of the security threats. This is because any reduction in the security pressure on the israeli public opinion leads to increasing the tendency to dodge the progress towards a solution. The “Israelis” became less capable to fulfil America’s wishes and proceed according to the roadmap peace plan. What tempts the Jews, especially the israeli rightwing, to constantly reject the solutions on offer using all pretences is their feeling of superiority and a permanent ability to maintain their acquisitions as if they possess the mightiest army in the region. On the other hand, America seeks to reshape the Middle East in a manner that achieves her interests and alienates the threat of Islam in the future lest it undermined her unilateral dominion over the world in this century. This is why it became evident that denting the grandeur of the israeli army and scaring the Jews over the future of their state will push the Jews towards negotiations to achieve the so-called people’s peace.
Therefore, paving the way for a confrontation to erupt between the strongest army in the region and an armed militia, in which the israeli army would fail to win the conflict and would even have its naval force neutralised after being dealt a severe blow when its most sophisticated gunship “Saer” was hit and withdrawn from the territorial waters; coupled with the failure of the air raids in achieving a telling impact as the major Lebanese targets run out; and the inability to storm southern Lebanon in a few days as was the case in 1982; as well as the lack of a deterrent preventing the missiles attacks that terrified the Jews as the cities and settlements of north Palestine were shelled and their dwellers were confined to the shelters or forced to flee; in addition to the huge material losses suffered by the economy of the Jewish state, all of this will impact upon the grandeur of the israeli army and will lead to generating a public opinion compelling the israeli government to negotiate, though the israeli army will attempt to restore its dented pride even if it were forced to use internationally prohibited weapons in order to reoccupy some villages in south Lebanon, which israel will use as a bargaining chip during the negotiations.
In order to defy the myth of the israeli army and terrify the israeli public opinion further, Syria sported the tiger’s skin in the face of israel although she had in the past always resisted any type of confrontation with the israeli army in Lebanon under the pretext that she did not want her enemy to impose the battle on her. The israeli warplanes shelled Ain al-Saheb near Damascus and recently flew over the palace of Bashar Assad in Qardaha and yet Syria did not respond save for a handful of outdated surface to air missiles. However, Syria is now issuing statements threatening israel with a harsh response and without hesitation if it came close to the Syrian territories. She even threatened to join the fighting when the ground battle to invade the south begins, although the commander of the israeli army stated a few days ago that there were no future plans to attack Syria. There are also the statements made by the Iranian leaders threatening israel with a harsh response if it were to attack Syria and the recent threat of an Islamic outburst that could undermine the very existence of the Jewish state. Hence, there exists a conspicuous purpose behind the permission given to Syria, backed by Iran, to threaten israel and to allow Hezbollah to possess such effective weapons. America has even incited the israeli army to shell and attack Hezbollah, especially after she had corroborated the claims made by three Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, accusing Hezbollah of starting the war, which provided the israeli army with the justifications to use all the means available to fight Hezbollah, so that public opinion in israel and the world, including the people of the region, may witness the limitations of the israeli army’s capabilities, even though it was only facing a militia and not a regular army, and yet it could not settle the conflict in its favour. This became more conspicuous when the commander of the israeli army announced that there were no plans to invade the south and when the israeli defence minister accepted the deployment of international forces provided they belonged to NATO. What is worth mentioning is that the condition to have the international forces deployed from NATO conforms to what America had requested from Europe, namely to partake in the “Greater Middle East Initiative” by securing the security requirement for the region.
Hence, what Condoleezza Rice said about Lebanon witnessing “birth pangs of a new Middle East” and about a ceasefire being a “false promise if the root causes of the conflict are not addressed”, all this indicates that the rules of the game have changed in a flagrant manner in order to compel israel to proceed in the path of negotiations, then the solutions would be produced according to the wording of Amr Moussa “in the shape of a package”, something which Condoleezza Rice later confirmed during her visit to israel, namely to proceed towards settling the issue of the israeli prisoners in Lebanon, settling the issue of the Sheba’a Farms, spreading the authority of the Lebanese government over the south and settling the issue of the Hezbollah weapons, in addition to proceeding in peaceful negotiations between the Lebanese and the israeli sides; the Syrian track may also be introduced to the negotiations. This will be accompanied by a progress on the Palestinian track aimed at concluding an agreement on the issue of prisoners’ exchange and initiating talks with the israeli side. Hence, the progress will have quickened the pace in order to settle the Middle East issue and “address the root causes of the conflict” as in Rice’s words, so that America may work towards executing the so-called Greater Middle East Initiative without any hindrance.
These are the deceptive styles and means used to deceive the Ummah and the worse thing is that it is muslim blood once again which is paying the price.
