can you imagine the way the west turned it's back on Rawanda during their troubled times


I saw a BBC Hardtalk episode a few days ago with Paul Rusesabagina (if you dont know this guy then go look him up) and he said that the massacre that killed a million ppl could have been stopped by stopping an arms shipment but the UN didnt stop it in spite if having an army there of 2500 men. Their official at the time didnt want to stop it because rawanda wasnt part of the UN.


This weapons shipment gave the militant tribe the power to kill a million people by butchering them and leaving them to die. When Paul Rusesabagina was asked who was the UN official that gave that order, he replied "he is now the secretary general of the United Nations" (somewhat paraphrased) Kofi Annan


Subhanallah if anyone wants to see the story of Rusesabagina they can watch the show "Hotel Rawanda".


Just to think that these atrocities actually happened in our MODERN SOCIETY and the "SUPERPOWERS" stood by and did nothing.... subhanallah... they would much rather go into afghanistan and kill muslims to find one man that they still havent located... ASTAGHFIRULLAH!!!!!!!!


Anyways... back to the topic at hand.... To see this report is evident that islam brings people out of sin and into the light as allah said in Surah Ibrahim (14)
