Propoganda in the Middle East

Piece on the Iranian Propaganda Campaign against the evil "Zionists"

<div><iframe width="459" height="344" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6rpgs39EUEQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true"></iframe></div>

Not that all Muslim nations are doing this...but it is a fact that some spout completely false and insane propoganda teach hate of the Jew. It looks like Nazi Germany all over again.

<div><iframe width="459" height="344" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5422LKhSVTc?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true"></iframe></div>

When I as a Non-Muslim see this stuff I get chills.

I live in the US. The South in fact. I am sure that there are people who do not like Muslims...but you would NEVER see propoganda like this about Muslims. When a Muslim cleric is preaching that Muslims should "Behead All Zionists"...that makes me worried.

In church every week I hear a message of peace, forgiveness and love. I have never heard anything about beheading Mulims, Non-Christians, or anybody else.

I know having spent many hours reading on this site that many of you do not fall into the catagory of the cleric in the 2nd video. But wow...guys like that give Islam a VERY bad name.

These clips come from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and some other Islamic countries.

Ah yeah, but you should learn alittle bit about The Nazification of America

Oh really? How about the attacks on Muslims and Islam <b>by Christians preachers on their daily TV show in your country</b>?

Are you calling this <b>"a message of peace, forgiveness and love" </b> ?

Wael, are you sure the preachers attack <i>Muslims</i> & not <i>Islamic beliefs</i>??? There's a big difference. It's no surprise that Christians reject certain aspects of Islam but they should accept Muslims & treat them with due dignity & respect.

Quote:Are you calling this "a message of peace, forgiveness and love"?

That pretty much sums up the Gospel! We must keep in mind though that not every Christian preaches the Gospel through their actions. Don't judge Christianity based on a few individuals who set poor examples. I'm learning to do the same with Islam/Muslims :)

Me neither... I guess we are going to the right places of worship.

I know where I could hear about Jesus and killing people that are hated. The Ku Klux Klan preaches "christian values" and hatred. Would I ever claim that they are the Christian majority? No. Do I accept that they are a fringe group that gets attention solely because of their shocking beliefs? Yes.

Why is it so hard to understand the same exists within the muslim world?

Your attempt at moral equivalence linking the KKK in the U.S. and the various Islamic terrorist groups that are causing so much misery is not at all convincing.

First, let’s understand that the KKK is a hate group that has been the subject of rigorous prosecution by the U.S. government such that they are wholly marginalized. They are also the subject of ridicule and condemnation by the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Secondly, let’s understand that the KKK is not supported, sheltered, harbored or funded by the U.S. government as is the case with various Islamic terrorist groups who operate under the protection and funding of Moslem governments.

Perhaps it’s just me Dan, but I haven’t seen any news reports of heavily armed KKK members mass murdering bus loads of Episcopalians. I haven’t seen any news reports of KKK members winning political office while espousing the genocide of Jews or those who don’t share a KKK ideological leaning.

I note that you are the beneficiary of Western liberal democracy and thus enjoy the benefits of timely elections, the rule of law and you are protected from political parties whose members are masked killers who carry a loaded Kalashnikov everywhere they go. I guess you will just have to suffer the indignity of the western “moral compass” that grants you freedoms and protections that you, as a Moslem, would deny non-Moslems in your Islamic paradise.

I understand what you mean Dan...... it really is hard for people to understand that Muslims go to Mosques and hear peaceful messages of Allah's love. It's hard for people to understand that Muslim countries have a minority hate group just like the US does. :(

The fact remains that in these countries Muslims are being taught complete and utter lies about Jews and America...but whatever.

Really? Just "minoity" hate groups? I understand you wish to minimize your exposure to orthodox Moslems who literally interpret their holy text but honestly, it's both dishonest and disingenuous to suggest that the violence perpetrated to the droning accompaniment of "Allahu Akbar" is just a "minority".

Let's examine this hoax of a claim, shall we?

The aim of both SSP and LeJ is to transform Pakistan by violent means into a Sunni state under the total control of Sharia law. Another objective is to have all Shia declared Kafirs and to participate in the destruction of other religions, notably Judasim, Christianity and Hinduism.

Note: Kafirs means non-believers: literally, one who refused to see the truth. LeJ does not consider members of the Shia sect to be Muslim, hence they can be considered a ‘legitimate’ target (<i>Allahu Akbar -ed.)</i>

<b>Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG):</b>

The LIFG seeks to replace the current Libyan regime with a hard-line Islamic state. The group is also part of the wider global Islamist extremist movement, as inspired by Al Qaida. The group has mounted several operations inside Libya, including a 1996 attempt to assassinate Mu’ammar Qadhafi.

The above is an extensive but not exhaustive list of Islamic terrorist groups. If you look closely, you'll see a common thread that links the overwhelming majoity of these terrorist groups.

I'll give you a hint: the overwhelming majority of these terrorist groups adhere to one particular politico-religious ideology. The spelling of that all consuming ideology begins with an "I" and ends with an "M". Additionally, these terrorist groups adhere to a particular component of said referenced politico-religious ideology that calls for the subjugation or death of non-muslims. That precept of subjugation or death of non-muslims is rigorously defended in Islamic dogma. The spelling of that doctrine of war against the infidel begins with a "J" and ends with a "D".

I check back later to see if you need assistance with any of the above.

I also happen to be here in the US, and do you know what I know? That there is a whole t.v channel that is dedicated to the "Heroes that are forcefully occupying Muslim Lands". I see how young Americans are being taught to support their troops and love them because they're killing the "evil terrorists" in places like Iraq and afghanistan. SOmetimes they interview young kids even and they cheer their heroes on. What a great way to spread love eh?

The amount of Propoganda on american t.v is soo rediculous, only showing one side of the story never presenting the truth. All they talk about on their T.V is how the big old terrorists are trying to kill the american people. What do you think the American troops are doing in Iraq and afghanistan? Handing over candy? They're killing children and women just as we speak, all you see on your t.v is your "fallen soldiers" what about how they murder every second? I guess Muslim blood is cheap, and not as important as your own that died on 9/11 or in iraq or aghanistan. Let me tell you, that Muslim blood is flowing like a river. Why don't you understand that these people are angry for a reason? The time when people were running towards the Americans and brits with "flowers" is up. Face it you can't kill and expect flowers, you get what you give. And for the record You spread just as much propoganda and hate on your t.vs!

Those who are so paranoid with the fact there is actually a thing called a "reaction to an action" this is all I have to say to you, You havent been in any of those peoples shoes, so atleast be fair enough to understand the "why"?

There are always 2 sides to every story, don't make that man look like some mad man who's waving that sword, what do you know about him? Nothing!

For all we know he could be some brother of some man who got raped and killed by one of your soldiers.

Nasra, common, it's not like that at all. I'm neither American nor Muslim but I consider the lives of both to be of equal value. Every human life is sacred. There's no "us" or "them". Let's pray for all the victims regardless of whether they're products of Bush or Bin Laden.

Do you like music? Are you familiar with these inspirational & touching songs? "What's going on?" (Marvin Gaye) "Where is the Love?" (Black Eyed Peas) "We are the World!" (U.S.A. for Africa) "Heal the World!" (Michael Jackson)
