A Statement On The Beheading!

in Tarikh at-Tabari

"They (the Romans) attacked hard and at one point they penetrated the main Muslim force. The women of the Quresh fought the advancing enemy with their swords. These women in general, and Umm Hakeem the daughter of Harith bin Hisham, performed innumerable acts of valor, so much so that they outperformed the men."

""Attiyah ibn al-Harith narrates from an eye witness that in the battle of Qadisia, the largest number of women were from the people of Bajeela and Nakha'. There were 700 SINGLE WOMEN from the people of Nakha' and 1000 from Bajeela. Consequently, they married as many men from various clans across Arabia. Thus the people of Nakha' became the in-laws of the muhajereen and the people of Bajeela.""

I am not at all optimistic that my points will be advanced (or challenged) anytime soon. What I do hope for, however, is a concious thought about what I put forth.

as salam alykom Ibn

Just to let u know the dialogue in Arabic has nothing to do wtth u. regarding your points, I think I gave u a number of Ayahs to ponder on which I think u did and grasped the idea, however I have more to tell u Insh a Allah but I will start a different thread for that.

In brief just for u to be sure we do understand your points since sometimes u dont come on directly and this might help others to settle a confusion.

U r simply saying we as Muslim should not sacrifice our religious rules or transgress in cases of war. In other words, when Muslims face aggression, they still must abide by the relevant rules of confrontation as set forth by Quran and Sunnah. We must not argue that aggression against us can in any form legitimize breaking Islamic rules.

And when this happens we Muslims must not overlook or try to be ok with it we must be couragous enough to face it and say we dont accept.

Am I correct in this summary, see I prefer to be precise and to the point so that we dont get lost..

If this is correct, let me know taking in consideration my previous post to u.

Of the 1.5 million 500,000 of them were children who died of starvation and lack medical treatment. We live in a horrible world, were lies are believed and truth decieved! [Image: sad.gif]
