Assalamu alaekum,

I Thank Allah for you and others on this team for the great job you are doing on the net. Please keep it up.

Meanwhile, I got a news yesterday night that a brother of mine who happened to be active in my local da'awah work is critically ill. He has kidney failure [or what was it they called it]. He has undergone five dialysis without positive changes.

The news I got yesterday is that he needs a transplant. I've been seriously worried ever since, knowing fully well that he has no means to foot the bill that will be associated with.

I just hope brothers and sisters on the forum will kindly pray seriously for him. Any suggestion that might assist will surely be welcomed.

I just have to share the news with someone, i am disturbed for the brother.

Allahumma inni magluubun fantasir.

Ma'a salam.

wa alaikumu salam,

May Allah reward sister Muslimah for her response on the news about the sick brother. I wish to inform all that Allah{swt} took the brother to himself on Saturday 14th June, 2003, and he was buried on 15th  . He was 38 years old with 4 kids, all boys, and a wife.

The only consolation for us, his friends, was that he pronounced the kalimatu shahadah just before responding to the call of death.

The question that we should work on henceforth is: from my past till now, can the way I lead my life guarantee me the shahadah at the point of the certainty{death}? I.e. should I die today, will I be able to say the kalimah at the point of death?

This is only a reminder.

ma'a salam.

Walaikumusalam

One day we all have to go, if not today then tomorrow. Yes this is a reminder for us to prepare for afterlife, as we do not know when death comes and knocks on our door.

May Allah give his family strength so that they can bear this loss.

May Allah forgive the sins of the deceased. Ameen
