A Statement On The Beheading!
#51

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem.

Quote: I can think of few suggestions:
1. Muslims can hold seminars and workshops in their respective local communities raising fund to really prepare people for Jihad.

2. Muslims in foreign countries can also hold seminars and workshop, call renowned speakers to highlight rulings of the situation and necessity of Jihad at the moments.

Well sister Muslimah, these are very good suggestions, but will the american governement let u raise funds. Here where I live there was a fund especially for palestinians, and many others for poor muslims all over the world, now that America is ruling, these funds were stopped, and there was one organization left only that is watched by the americans to where the money is going. Proof of this, one organization came to my door to collect money, I asked why don't u make slips for deducting from salaries, he said we can't do that, the fund raised for such purposes is being watched by american governement and then held. Even the relegion curriculum they ordered to remove the ayas of Jihad, the ayas where Allah Almighty describes the Jews. so where is the democracy here when they are forcing on Islamic nations what to do, depriving between them and their relegion, isn' this an occupation. So I think as u suggested before and so did I, that we should educate ourselves more and our children to love Allah Al-Mighty, to love their relegion, to love their prophet, the sahabas, the sahabiyat, they should be our roles and models, they should be our stars, that shine the way for us to victory by the will of Allah. And weather these beheadings are just or not, weather they are barbaric or not, as said before and again we leave this to Allah, he is the judge of the beheader and the beheaded on the day of judgement.

May Allah have mercy on us, we never know what will be cooked against Islam in the future.

Quote: Ibn, you make a lot of sense, most of the time. I feel you slipped up when you fell into the blame game at the point in your argument where you state, "Had it not been for the colonizing West and the amoral Zionists we'd be a great religion once more".
If anybody is responsible for Islam, surely it is the Muslims and their spiritual leaders/teachers or lack thereof ?

Salaam Alaikum!

Forgive me. When I made that statement (Had it not been for the colonizing West and the amoral Zionists we'd be a great religion once more) I was being sarcasitic towards those who actually believe that the West and Zionists are the problems for all our ills in the world. My apologies for the confusion.

This thread is really going no where, I was not going to make more comments but for the sake of Allah:

1. To brother Ibn and I care more about u as a Muslim brother. U r saying that we always blame things on others, O yes just a full army invading a country and destroying it totally, ripping its wealth, raping women, demolishing houses and more. Or war does not include civilians. I am not sure how u can not see the point in the correct order. Just look at it properly without falling into the Islam image issue u need to beautify for non Muslims.

2. U r after an Islamic condemnation for an aggressive act:

a. We can not condemn something we are not sure it happened the way we see it, I am trying to explain to u for the last time for the sake of Allah, u can not continue judging people without evidence as they are raping the religion and all that.

b. Had this incident happened we never know their reasons I am not over looking the ayah that translates as:"Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty - We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawâhish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse) whether committed openly or secretly; and kill not anyone whom Allâh has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islâmic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand." (Quran 6:151). The Ayah did not specify a Muslim or non Muslim one both are the same in this case. How can u know the circumstances behind the incident if Muslims did do it. Ibn u r not seeing it. This is no conspiracy. U know that..

c. Ibn what we should worry more about is not to divert our attention from the core of interest, if u simply use your mind for a while, such incidents take place concurrently with other severly anti Islam or Palestine related crisis. cant u see it?

d. What we should cry over really is how Muslim nation is standing still only watching news from comfortable coutches acting like Couch warriors, we must cry how till now we are not sharing our brothers and sister their struggle, the most noble struggle in the name of Allah, this would be real jiha Ibn. How till now Muslim countries failed to form an army and fight.

Ibn this is a war against a muslim country, not an individual incident to pin our mistake upon. Again it is war?? planes and missiles u know??

Hope u got the point

Spider Insh aAllah we can all think and see how we can act. Till now I am trying my best first to be a Muslim, helping to clarify points here on the web, and more in real life, so we might as well consider the points I raised earlier and Insh a Allah put them in action.

abeer Ukhti I know how u feel for Islam, but really just calm your tone, it does not help much to get all steered up, they will answer back and insult our Allah remember

Hazm Sobhan Allah Praise be to Allah u r a proof of what I always say that such incidents force u people to read quran, why r u quoting Quran if u dont believe in Allah to start with...........

Let me say this. I completely understand the gravitational weight of say, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, etc. But to insist that terrorism is secondary priority is clearly absurd, and a little short of pure blindness. Contrary to popular (Muslim) belief, terrorism in not on the fringes of Muslim society, and never has been. Sadly, it is at the heart of our problem. Terrorism, as diverse as it is, is a completely nihilistic approach to the world at hand, and can only be exterminated by a unilateral condemnation from us Muslims. By my own volition, I've taken the opportunity to denounce it for what it is---treachery. Saying that, I am not oblivious or apathetic about the horrors that go on in our Muslim lands by the hands of non-Muslims; I make every effort to condemn them. But it is terrorism in the name of Allah (swt) that takes Islam to hell and back. Beyond a vehement denunciation, I see virtually no end to terrorism. And this vehement denunciation must come from us Muslims.

Take, for example, Algeria. When those bloodthirsty terrorists detonated a bomb there and killed an X amount of people, the Muslims banded together and protested on the behalf of Islam. The terrorist got the message and will think thrice before attacking there again. That is what's needed to eradicate this “disease” called terrorism. As I said yesterday, the silent treatment is virtually a haven for the terrorists. If Muslims refuse to denounce it, the terrorists will continue to perpetuate their narrow view of Islam and further attacks on non-Muslims and Muslims alike.

Again, this is not a stunt by me to push my credentials to non-Muslims. On the contrary! My objective is to "get rid" of the problem that has bandied Islam a vile name. These blind terrorists damage Islam furthermore, and will take us along with them if they’re not stopped. If anything, the terrorists have killed more Muslims than anything else imagined. How many Muslims have died by the hand of these noble "terrorists?" In Afghanistan where Muslims were slaughtered for voting, was that Islam? Or in Iran, Pakistan or Bangladesh where women who do nothing more than show a fraction of skin are beaten to a bloody pulp----is that Islam? Is this the utopia that the Prophet (saw) laid down for us? And if not, then is it wrong to be avid and rabid in condemnation? Was it "Jihad" when those Iraqi Muslims coming out of prayer from the Shia Masjid were innocently butchered like mindless sheep? That pregnant Jewish woman and her children gunned down outside their home----was that the "right" conduct for Jihad? Did those terrorists who gunned her and her children provide evidence and justification for their actions? Nay! Nay to each and every question I postulated.

These terrorists do not suit our end. No. Their pathology, no matter how rhetorical it might sound, is territory, coercion, blood of non-Muslims (and Muslims who do not conform to their blunt perception of Islam), and 72 doe-eyed damsels awaiting them in paradise. Education, equality, assistance, dawa, dialogue, economics, rights, reason, tawhed, compassion and sabr are, of course, at the end of their long list of priorities.

I refuse...again, I refuse to give harbor to them. I can't stand them and I will not be silent on their perfidious acts of terror. If anything, those low-down, self-congratulation, self-appointing, thought-twisting, lapdog, no brain, self-loving terrorists will know they don't have a standing ovation from this Muslim. May I be swift in my vituperation, terse in my rhetoric, for Allah (swt) is my shield and my intellect is my weapon!

Indeed. Nietzsche once wrote: Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster.

What good have we done ourselves or Islam if we allow oppression to turn us into what we are supposed to be fighting? The greatest threat to Islam comes not from without, but from Muslims abandoning the principles of humanity, mercy, and devotion to our Lord which our Prophet taught us. I don't care how you cut it or what attempts are made to excuse it, terrorism is violence against the very heart of the Muslim ethic; the commission of embracing it and the ommission of failing to condemn it both distance us from our Path.

my dear sister muslimah

assalum alaykum wa rahmat allah wa barakatuh

i'll take your advice .... i'll work on my tempor [Image: rolleyes.gif]

but the truth is i get carried away in confusion and anger when i read some posts here and there .. from MUSLIMS .

talking about jihad calling it terrorism ...

they could defend mujahedeen and the real cause of jihad they could explain to nonmuslims the need and the obligation for jihad..

clarify jihads name

not every thing is called terror.

they should search for true stories behind every incident .. not repeat anything the media says.

even non-muslims in america and world wide have doubts about the beheadings and who is really responsible for them.

sadly some brothers don't have the same courage to question any thing US govt. and media says.

u actually saved my breath, very short and concise, hope Ibn gets the message this time..

U simply stated what I was trying to say all the way long. not sure if I my writing style was ambigous or what [Image: unsure.gif][Image: sad.gif][Image: unsure.gif][Image: sad.gif]

We must be aware that they need to divert our attention and the attention of the whole world, they really need to drain our efforts not to focus and start organizing our selves.

Ibn just dont put all cases together and lable them all as jihad, each case of what u mentioned has various aspects that u r not aware of. Simple each case is individual. We as muslims never run away of our responsibility, when we do a mistake we say so. It is not a source of pride to continue saying o I am not afraid to condemn my own brothers and sisters.

And Ibn again u never answered two of my questions:

1. did u live under occupation.

2. We all agree this is not Islamic (killing a soul without a just reason, if it did happend by Muslims and again IF). Pls do give us the Islamic alternative.

U know what I d rather prefer u dedicated your efforts which I will just correct something, rather than having your intellct as your weapon, make it Quran and sunna

I think we have a previous discussion when Alhamdulelah u were able to realize an Ayah in Quran that changed your position towards Palestine.

We need to implement Quran, not only read it and be impressed

What we need to condemn is the Muslim world position, nothing is happening, everybody is going with his/her life normally as if nothing is happening. Sobhan Allah.

You (Muslims) can stop the violence can you? Muhammed left you divided. A divided house cannot stand. Whose to say your version of Islam is correct? This web site is full of hatred for each other. There's no higher power at work, just man against man.

There's only one way to stop the violence. Denounce Islam and realize it's not a peaceful nation. If you take away the Americans, the Jews, the militant terrorists, you'll still have a sick society. Haven't you realized an eye for an eye just doesn't work? You just can't stop the violence.

Look to the cross for salvation. Christ can save you because he is Love. He loved us so much that he allowed himself to be killed for our sake. As an example of God's love He died for our sins. Whether you believe in Christ as the Son of God or not, Christ had taught what man needed to live in peace. He is wiser then the Quran because even before Muhammed was born, He knew better. He is God, and God is Love. And what better love is there then dying for someone you love so they might LIVE and not DIE.
