Call Bin Laden a terrorist, but in my opinion, his hate towards the west is justifiable. I do not comply with him, nor support him in any fashion, but I must admit that he is commiting these acts for reasons understandable. However, he is not targetting the right people and is certainly not using the right tactics permissible in Islam. Islam is not a religion of civilian warfare - all attacks on any opponent should be in an organized, military form.

American money is being used to buy weapons to kill Muslims. This is a known fact. That will anger people (including me), and I think this (along with several other issues regarding the US poking it's nose into places it doesn't belong) is reason enough for Bin Laden to want to take action against the West and Israel.

See Rid,

The threads I create stir up conflict and great diolougue between Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Take Intuition here for example. He says that Bin Laden's hate for the west is justifiable. He also stated his reasons of why he thinks that way. Thank you Intuition for your honest answer. I pose this question, however. Did you know we give more aid to foreign nations than any other country on this planet?

all attacks on any opponent should be in an organized, military form.

If any country actually tried to fight like men and face our military in a said organized manner, no army would last more than two weeks against us. Bin Laden and the rest of the terrorists (in my eyes anyway) have to fight the way they are fighting to stand a chance.

Hazam I asked u a question on another thread, and u replied to me that u did not get the meaning.

Ok why are u concerned about us judging Usama, if u dont belive in Islam or even Allah. So what do u expect to get from us? judging according to which criteria.

Now again about this issue of terrorism which I am really sick of specially when we Muslims have to explain, explain and explain hadeeth and Ayahs, which u who dont believe only remember to quote or use in such occaisons.

let me ask u something, if the US becomes under a Korean attack, I will not discuss their occupation of Iraq, would it stand still, or as it is war, it will use every possible means to terrorise the attacker

. u dont expect that the defender watches war planes and war machines targetting its land, people, wealth and resources and just frown telling the attacker how bad he is?? do u?????????????

War is WAR, do u know what does this mean? it means that the defender has to certainly terrorise the attacker, that is what Quran even say:

u know what I will not even include the Ayah, to u it is not important, my brothers and sisters are certainly aware of it.....

I take it "our military" is the US. If it is then you must be more ignorant of the situation than I thought.

Maybe you need to think independantly rather than being spoon fed and ask yourself why the US came to an agreement with the Iraqi army generals prior to the war for the US to enter baghdad without a fight?

Why did it take a few weeks to only capture the southern port town of Um Qasar?

Why were the people of Fallujah celebrating victory over the US army which found it difficult to deal with Fallujah?

MAjority of these fighers may I add were not from the regular army but civillians!

Then again, do you remember who the victorious party was in Somalia? Again, civillians!

So from this perspective, if a proper trained army was to face "our military" what would the consequences be I wonder???

We should think for ourselves rather than to let others do the thinking for us...

As James Pilger said: "At least the people in the middle east know when they are being lied to by their leaders. Unlike in the West..."
